Chapter 170
We returned to the first house.
I was a bit worried that someone might have signed the contract while I was looking at other houses.
“Oh, you’ve arrived?”
“Yes, yes. Um, is the house still available?”
“Of course. No one has come yet.”
I was relieved.
I had been worried that someone else might have signed the contract, but thankfully that wasn’t the case.
Feeling relieved, I spoke up.
“Then, how about scheduling the appointment? I really like this house.”
“Ah, sounds good. I’ll give you my number, so just contact me when you have some free time.”
“Got it.”
I received the landlord's phone number and returned to the car.@@novelbin@@
“Phew… That was exhausting.”
I felt mentally drained.
Since my money was on the line, I had to be very careful, and that made the process stressful.
If it were someone else’s money, I would’ve been much more relaxed.
Thinking that, I thanked Harin, who had been with me through it all.
“Harin, thanks.”
What do you think?
