Chapter 82 – Professor Black paid the money
Sirius shared his idea with Hoare.@@novelbin@@
He suggested using a miniature replica to replace Harry during the summer at the Dursleys, allowing it to absorb the Dursleys' aura and then transfer it to Harry himself.
Hoare was speechless inside. Sirius, do you know that Dumbledore never directly told me about the protection spell? You've pretty much spilled all his secrets.
But this was just as well. Hoare had a question he had been pondering. Holding a pen with a thoughtful expression, he asked, "This absorption of Harry's—does it have a specific range?" He gestured, "What's the approximate diameter?"
Sirius looked confused for a moment, then quickly understood Hoare's point and replied uncertainly, "Dumbledore said they have to live together, so it shouldn't be too far."
"Does the next house over count as far?" Hoare pondered.
Sirius also fell into thought.
The two sat by the lawn, gazing at the nearby lake.
Hoare's mind began flipping through books, while he wasn't sure if Sirius was daydreaming or doing something else.
Suddenly, a cry rang out, and something fiery red, like burning flames, flew straight towards Hoare.
Hoare raised his textbook, mustering all his strength, arm lifted, waist twisted, ready to strike—
What do you think?
