"Hello, 110 Emergency Center, how can I help you?" The voice of the female operator came through the phone.@@novelbin@@
"I need to report a crime! There's a criminal trying to set fire to a bus!" Bai Wu said urgently.
"What? A criminal, a bus, arson?" the operator exclaimed.
"Yes! It's the K221 bus, it just left Century Park Station, the next stop is Auto Trade City. The bus is packed with people, about thirty or forty of them, and the arsonist is among them!" Bai Wu said anxiously.
There was a brief silence on the other end, then the voice came back: "Sir, I've already notified the patrol cars near Century Park and contacted the fire department!"
"Please tell them to hurry. It's only a five or six-minute drive from Century Park Station to Auto Trade City. If the criminal sets the fire en route, the crowded bus could lead to casualties!"
Bai Wu reminded them, thinking to himself, "Could the criminal be using gasoline to start the fire?"
