Chapter 922 Historical Remains And Respectful Inspirations
922 Historical Remains And Respectful Inspirations
Due to such properties, Inala had proposed to work on the rock pillars produced through the Nature of Rocky Intimidation. He planned to design it in such a way that the intimidation power would concentrate in certain places, forming a barrier between the combatants and the audience.
It would be large enough for the two combatants to go all out without worries. But that wasn't all. The structure was capable of healing itself from minor damage. The rocks would absorb dust from the air and use it to fill in small gaps and cracks.
The intimidation it releases would press the dust onto its surface enough that they become part of a whole. It was something only a rock pillar refined by a Rockatrice for generations could exhibit. Moreover, the self-healing properties were only limited to minor cracks and gaps.
There was also the advantage of the intimidation properties becoming stronger based on who uses it. A Rockatrice's rock pillar had the standard Silver Grade power. But the one created by Brangara at the entrance to the Zahara King was significantly more potent.
If that was refined by Inala using his Billakin Hammer, the result was a Battle Stadium where two peak Gold Grade existences could battle it out.
"How long do you need to finish building such a stadium?" KalTara asked.
"I am estimating anywhere between three to four days if the entire structure is already completed. I only need to refine it using my hammer." Inala pointed at his Billakin Hammer.
"Of course, if the rock pillars are produced by Empyrean Boars," Inala stared at the Wean Clansmen in the throne room and shook his head, "It wouldn't be robust enough for this fight."
"Instead," He stared at Shuwrak Zahara to ask, "I heard rumours about the Zahara Kingdom's entrance. The rock there is tremendously better as a raw material. Since no one's living there anymore, if you're okay with it…"
"Go ahead," Shuwrak Zahara nodded at KalTara, "Please send a large team to dismantle them and bring them here."
"Anything specific you need?" KalTara asked Inala next.
"If you have the Nature of Imprison, it'll be easy to complete the entire Battle Stadium. Otherwise, it'll take longer." Inala said.
"Which version will be better?" KalTara observed Inala's expression, using questions to understand the latter's intentions better.
"The result will be the same in both cases. The only difference is the time it'll take to finish it." Inala spoke.
"Make a blueprint for the design here." Saying so, KalTara created a bunch of rocks using Rocky Intimidation and ordered a team of soldiers to transport them to an open field nearby. "Once it's done, come find me for approval."
"Yes," Inala replied as he was then escorted out by Shuwrak Zahara.
Once the duo had left the throne room, a Wean Clansman slammed his fist on his armrest, "That damn, arrogant Pranic Beast!"
"Arrogant?" KalTara chuckled upon hearing the remark. He stared at the Wean Clansman who said the remark and asked, "Do you truly feel that way?"
"Do you think I can kill Boul Brimgan?"
"Leader, we all know that the current Boul Brimgan is unlike what he was in the past. He's weak enough now that…" The Wean Clansman began to speak when KalTara's presence filled the throne room, overbearing to the extent everyone shut up, trembling in fear nonstop as even breathing became hard.
"I need to risk my life to kill a wounded soldier on his deathbed." KalTara snorted in disgust towards the Wean Clansmen in the throne room, glaring into the eyes of each and everyone, "Do you need me to remind you as to why he's become so weak now?"
"He fought my grandfather and survived to tell the tale." His expression grew incensed as he raised his voice, "Even after that, he still retains enough strength to endanger my life."
"The only reason grandfather died was because he continued to underestimate his enemies." After a minute of silence, KalTara noticed how everyone was silent, stating next, "Then, what about my grandmother?"
"She's a Free Human too."
Seeing everyone flinch in response, KalTara commented, "She's the greatest talent of Sumatra and scarily so. I acknowledge her talent, her innovative skills, and most of all, her Nature. And hence, among this husband-and-wife pair, I'll kill her first."
He stared at the expressions of confusion plastered on the faces of the Wean Clansmen and spoke, "This was quoted by the Royal Zinger before the war at the Kalahatra Desert started. Only the higher officials of the Quip Clan are aware of this. I spent a fortune to get this, alongside many other bits and pieces quoted by the Royal Zinger."
"So, leave that notion of arrogance behind." KalTara glared at the Wean Clansmen, "Only then can we continue to progress forward. It's what Uncle Shuwrak Zahara has taught me, and despite my personal thoughts, and our political inclinations of trying to sideline him and drive out all Free Humans from the Wean Clan, one thing is for certain,"
"But..." A Wean Clansman wanted to argue. However, he didn't have a point that could counter the Wean Clan's Leader.
"Also," KalTara eyed the Wean Clansmen, intending to say something before growing silent. "Forget it, just do as planned."
Dismissing everyone, he left the throne room and walked towards a secluded study room meant for his personal use. There were a bunch of Information Slips accompanied by Glove Slips. Hanging on the walls were intricate maps of the terrain and diagrams of Empyrean Boar's physique from its skeletal structure to its digestive system.
There were also charts showing the influence a Wean Clansman endured in human form and Pranic Beast form for various Natures—individually and in various combinations. There were also markings showing how the influence was manifested on the body physically. @@novelbin@@
In the centre of the study were a series of sculptures created to realistically mimic various Pranic Beasts. There were also piles of Human Avatars sourced from various Free Humans. They had been extracted from the Free Humans when they were alive.
Currently, these Human Avatars looked no different to the Human Avatar forms of the respective Free human.
State of Harmony—Human Avatar Extraction!
It was KalTara's personal creation, and through it, he had been extracting the Human Avatars of different Free Humans for study. Through it, he was able to obtain a better grasp of Natures and their respective influence.
Using these results, he was able to better categorise and make a manual for Natures that the Wean Clansmen could learn and develop. He was the one who took the initiative for Wean Clansmen to first focus on a Nature and master it to levels beyond what the original Pranic Beast could achieve.
But that was just one aspect of his research. He had created Human Avatar Extraction in an effort to gain its transformation powers alongside its respective Nature.
If he were to consume a Brimgan Royal, he would get the Nature of Kinesis Deity. However, if he could also use the power of Rutham Human Avatar, he could transform his Pranic Beast form into a Rutham counterpart.
Basically, even if it could be used only once, he was getting the power of a Human Avatar in his Pranic Beast form.
The physical bodies of Pranic Beasts alone exhibited enough destructive power to rival a Nature. That's why Pranic Beasts were stronger than Free Humans in a one-on-one battle, even if they were at the same Grade.
But if they get a Human Avatar form atop that? It was KalTara's research. His State of Harmony had been created exactly for that purpose.
Of course, he didn't reach this point alone. Majority of the Wean Clan didn't know, but everything he had achieved now was thanks to Yarsha Zahara's research notes. Using that as a foundation, KalTara had reached his current height.
Tertiary Nature—Astral Chart!
At the Gold Grade, Astral Chart could store 10 Natures. And its stacking power was limited to the Life Stage cultivation of the user. At the 4-Life Stage, Astral Chart could only stack 4 Natures.
KalTara was at the 10-Life Stage, so he could stack ten Natures. And by storing the Natures of Blessed Inheritance in his Astral Chart, KalTara could store a large number of Natures without any issues in his Vara tusks.
As for his State of Harmony, that was similar to Barla's Astral Puncture. KalTara had been purchasing information from every single existence that had witnessed the fight in the Kalahatra Desert, no matter from how far away or for how short they managed to see before fleeing away in fear.
He was obsessed with trying to figure out how strong the Mystic Grade existences were. The Celestial Boar was rumoured to blow every ounce of logic out the window. But just how far did it blow things out of logic, even Gold Grade Pranic Beasts failed to fathom.
Whether it be the Quip Clan or Pranic Beast forces, KalTara had been privately using his wealth to purchase information. He even went as far as to seek it from the Brimgan Empire and Mystic Humans. Of course, it was through a different identity.
But he tried everything he could to get his hands on the events that transpired in the Kalahatra Desert. Of that, there were strange accounts of a drill-shaped ability that could penetrate through everything, including the Celestial Boar's body as if it were nothing.
State of Harmony—Astral Puncture!
Using the Astral Chart itself to form a set of Natures and attain the State of Harmony. That created Sumatra's strongest spear. 'The ultimate spear created to pierce grandfather's defence.'
Even though he had no idea about the Natures that resulted in Astral Puncture or even how that was conceived, KalTara was inspired by the recounts. And by referencing Yarsha Zahara's research notes, he created Human Avatar Extraction.
And what he used as reference for this was the Nature of Mystic Eater. It was one of the most special Natures to exist on Sumatra, and was also the Nature that Yarsha Zahara had researched the most extensively.
By trying to emulate the power of a Mystic Eater, KalTara ended up creating Human Avatar Extraction. 'As long as I create a suitable window, I can steal Narkahamy's Human Avatar.'
"Time's running short. I'm sure that bastard has a trump card that gives him the confidence to challenge me, when until now, he never appeared on the frontlines." He muttered in all seriousness and stared at the closest Human Avatar, "Thankfully, there are plenty of references available here."
He approached one of the Information Slips and accessed its contents, 'Empyrean Incubator, huh?'
There was a chest behind it. KalTara opened it and stared at the Empyrean Incubator stored within after it had been turned into a Satellite by Yarsha Zahara.
At the Zahara Kingdom, Yarsha Zahara controlled Grehha and Yennda. She had indeed extracted as much of their power as possible and turned it into Satellites for storage. Most of that had been used up by her after they migrated to the Varahan Empire.
The Empyrean Incubator before him was one of the final few pieces, modified by Yennda's power to be suitable for a Wean Clansman. With a solemn expression, KalTara grabbed the chest, "This should do."
What do you think?
