Yun Lintian frowned slightly. He couldn't comprehend Yang Xie's words. What could they possibly have taken from the Primal Chaos that could be used to destroy it? It didn't make any

sense.

Yun Lintian didn't say anything as his mind raced.

Yang Xie's laughter echoed through the void, a chilling sound that sent shivers down Yun Lintian's spine.

"You don't need to understand," Yang Xie said, his voice dripping with mockery. "You are nothing but a pawn in a grand game, a seed of fate destined to fulfill your role and die a meaningless death in the end."

Yun Lintian's eyes narrowed. Such a taunt was useless against him, and he didn't think Yang Xie was trying to intimidate him with such a cheap trick. Since the beginning, Yang Xie seemed to have a hidden agenda in provoking him again and again, perhaps trying to make him show his true power and all the trump cards in his hand.

"You're wrong," Yun Lintian said indifferently. "I am not a pawn. I am not destined to die a meaningless death. I will choose my own path, and I will defeat the Lord of Chaos."

Since Yang Xie used this trick, Yun Lintian didn't mind playing along.

Yang Xie's laughter intensified, his voice filled with amusement.

"Such arrogance," he said. "Such naivete. You truly believe you can defeat the Lord of Chaos? You, a mere mortal, who has barely scratched the surface of true power?"

He paused for a moment, his voice softening slightly.

"It's a pity, really," he continued. "You have such potential, such talent. It would be a shame to see it wasted."

He paused again, his voice taking on a persuasive tone.

"Why not join us, Yun Lintian?" he offered. "Join the Lord of Chaos, become his loyal servant, and you shall have eternal life, unimaginable power, and a place by his side as he reshapes the world."@@novelbin@@

Yun Lintian's expression remained unchanged. He still couldn't figure out the grand scheme behind Yang Xie's actions.

Without thinking further, Yun Lintian raised his head to look at the endless darkness in front of him and said, "Whatever you are trying to do here, I'm not going to entertain you any further. I hope you will have the courage to show up when we meet next time."

He activated the Shadow Step, his figure blurring as he vanished from sight. He reappeared a hundred meters away, then again and again, his movements swift and unpredictable as he attempted to escape the confines of this strange space.

However, as he neared the edge of the area, he slammed into an invisible barrier. It was like hitting a wall of solid energy, the impact sending shockwaves through his body.

Yun Lintian stumbled back, his eyes widening in surprise. He had not sensed the barrier before, its presence completely masked by the chaotic energy of the Abyssal Rift.

"Trying to leave?" Yang Xie's voice echoed through the void, laced with amusement. "I'm afraid that's not possible, Yun Lintian. You are within my domain now. A space where I control the very laws of reality."

Yun Lintian's expression hardened. A domain? He had not expected Yang Xie to possess such a powerful domain. He couldn't even see that the entire space was actually a domain.

"Domain?" Yun Lintian spoke to himself, his eyes scanning the seemingly endless expanse of black space around him. He could sense the subtle shifts in the energy, the faint ripples that betrayed the presence of Yang Xie's control.

"Indeed," Yang Xie's voice confirmed, a hint of pride in his tone. "This is my domain, a space where I reign supreme. You cannot escape, Yun Lintian. You will remain here, trapped within my grasp, until I decide your fate."

Yun Lintian stood calmly, the chaotic energy swirling around him like a hungry predator. He had faced various opponents, but Yang Xie definitely stood out the most among them. Breaking this domain was definitely not an easy task.

He closed his eyes, his mind racing, searching for a solution, a way to tap into a power that could rival Yang Xie's domain. The Beyond Heaven King's Crown, while powerful, was not enough. He needed something more, something that resonated with the very essence of this chaotic realm.

And then, it hit him.

The power of the God of Darkness.

Yun Lintian didn't want to use any power of the Primordial Gods because he didn't want to truly show his hand to an opponent like Yang Xie; using the Beyond Heaven King's Crown was already far-fetched. However, he didn't seem to have a choice if he wanted to leave

Yun Lintian opened his eyes and his aura surged. His body was wrapped in a dark shroud, his golden eyes now burning with black flames, his presence radiating an ominous power that seemed to challenge the very fabric of the Abyssal Rift.

He raised his Frostmourne Spear, and the weapon, sensing the change in his aura, responded in kind. The icy aura that usually surrounded the spear was replaced by a dark, flickering flame, its blade now gleaming with a malevolent light.

Yun Lintian felt the power coursing through him, the darkness merging with his own energy, amplifying his strength, his control over the laws of reality.

He focused his will, combining the power of the God of Darkness with his mastery of the Law of Space. The space around him distorted, bending to his will as he prepared to unleash his

attack.

"Hmm?" Yang Xie, who was hiding in the void, looked at the scene with great interest.

With a powerful thrust, Yun Lintian launched his spear towards the invisible barrier that held him captive. The black flames surrounding the spear surged forward, merging with the distorted space, creating a vortex of destructive energy that tore through the fabric of Yang Xie's domain.

The barrier shattered, its defenses crumbling under the combined might of darkness and space. A gaping hole appeared in the domain, a path to freedom, an escape from Yang Xie's

grasp.

Yun Lintian didn't hesitate. He stepped through the opening, his figure disappearing from Yang Xie's domain, leaving behind a trail of shattered space and lingering darkness. "Cough!" Yang Xie coughed up a mouthful of blood, caught off guard by Yun Lintian's attack. He didn't expect him to break his domain in one shot.

"Grand Protector!" Dian Lun and Tian Zhen exclaimed in unison.

Yang Xie raised his hand and said, "I'm fine."

He watched as Yun Lintian disappeared from his perception without any intention of stopping

him.

A moment later, he turned around and said, "Let's go back."
