Chapter 506
The corridor, which had been strangely devoid of windows, had somehow turned into one filled with them.
I turned my gaze and checked outside the window. The outside was filled with a red liquid, as though the entire mansion had submerged into a blood-red lake.
Through the gaps in the windows, blood poured down like a waterfall, and the fluorescent lights in the corridor flickered at irregular intervals, creating an eerie atmosphere.
And amidst the waterfall of blood, a monster in human form slowly began to appear.
It’s here!
I smiled slightly, making sure not to catch the monster’s attention.
As the monster appeared, the blood that had been pouring from the windows stopped as suddenly as if the curtain had fallen on the prologue of its entrance.
An unexpected silence wrapped the corridor.
In the midst of that stillness, the sound of ‘kreeeek’ sharply echoed.
It was the sound of the monster's sharp claws scraping across the floor.
Chop, chop.
Following that, the sound of the monster stepping on the shallow pool of blood on the floor reached my ears.@@novelbin@@
With every step of the monster’s grotesquely twisted foot, the blood in the corridor rippled.
Amazing.
I silently clapped my hands, admiring it.
That monster was truly impressive, possibly because it was a professional "scaring" object. It was a perfect display of fear, far beyond the amateur shark game I once clumsily attempted.
The monster’s approach speed, the sound of footsteps echoing in the silent corridor, and the scraping of sharp claws on the floor—every detail was engraved in my memory.
I’ll use this for scaring people later!
Chop.
What do you think?
