Several hours later, Leon strolled leisurely through the third floor of the castle, hands tucked into his pockets, looking as aimless as someone out for a casual walk.
As he passed by the third-floor kitchen, he caught a glimpse of a figure inside out of the corner of his eye.
“Well, well, Your Majesty. What a coincidence, huh?”
Standing in front of a cabinet, Rosvisser didn’t even bother turning around at the sound of his voice. She remained focused on her task and replied without looking back,
“Coincidence? It feels more like you’re tailing me.”
“Tailing? Can a tiger tail be used as a substitute?”
“Idiot.”
Muttering under her breath, Rosvisser finally turned around, now holding two delicate little cakes in her hands.
Leon leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed over his chest, raising an eyebrow as he smiled and remarked,@@novelbin@@
“You look so focused. It’s almost like you’re testing someone’s character.”
