Even Shuri, who didn’t have much combat capabilities, had almost killed T’challa! It showed how difficult it was to defeat someone that was being controlled by the power of the Infinity Stones! If anybody confronted such an enemy unprepared, losing the war would have been the consequence! But the worst part of it all was that the Avengers could only rely on their own in the war as they wouldn’t know when the other Avengers would fall into the enemy’s control!
The mysterious woman was the one behind all of this. It showed how sick she could be. She acted like disrupting everyone else’s bond was child play for her, but she didn’t know Dio that well.
“You look down on them too much. Did you know that playing with other people’s feelings will only end in tragedy?” Dio coldly said as he channeled more Hamon Energy to [Reaper’s Gaze], enhancing its size even more. At the same time, Galaxy opened a portal and stood beside Dio. Tony and Steve looked at each other and then started walking forward silently.
“Everyone, we will prevail! Avenger! Assemble!” Steve shouted commandingly as he and Tony immediately charged in and attacked the incoming enemy that came from the sorcerer’s portal. They became the role model for the rest of the Avengers!
Their suspicion toward the other Avengers immediately disappeared, and the Hulk suddenly growled and leaped high, surpassing Steve and Tony when it came to mowing down the enemy! Wanda and the others immediately rushed forward at the same time as they realised that the trust between the Avengers was the only thing that mattered!
They would rather pay that trust with blood rather than be wary of each other all the time! Besides, they still had Dio on their side! He could act as their Field Doctor anytime they needed it later!
“Wakanda, Forever!” T’challa shouted as if he was being infected by the Avenger’s passion, sending his army towards the enemy with a powerful warcry! The Wakanda’s Army immediately charged forwards behind the Avengers with spectacular confidence!
“Did you see that? You will pay the price for angering them!” Dio said as he sat on top of Galaxy with his scythe hanging low to the ground. The woman’s face looked disturbed as her plaything had been reduced to a joke. The Avenger that she made wary of each other has now used their momentum to gain the upper hand of the battle, which was not the result she wanted!
“You will meet your enemy!” a flash of red glow flashed on the woman’s eye as she began ordering the sorcerer to attack the Avengers.
Even if they had to fight their former comrade, the Avenger didn’t break their formation or falter. Thanos’ soldiers themselves didn’t induce fear in the Avenger as they knew that Thanos’ soldier was like a robot! They were trained never to show any fear no matter what the situation they were in.
But still, it was hard to fight against the enemy without feeling like this, and because of that, Wakanda’s army suffered a heavy blow as they were caught by surprise. Dio had to say that Wakanda’s army looked funny with their cape and cloak, but their line of defence was really something to be wary about. The Chitauri’s energy gun couldn’t penetrate Wakanda’s defence as it couldn’t penetrate the Vibranium energy barrier!
However, it was not like Wakanda’s army had nothing to worry about as the Chitauri’s army began to explode themselves up upon impact with the Wakanda army’s energy barrier! It was a total devastating attack that Wakanda’s army was forced to defence against! Nevertheless, the Chitauri’s suicide attack was kind of effective as more Wakanda’s soldiers started to fall. It was clear that Wakanda’s army started to show fear!
This had never happened to Wakanda’s army before, and it wasn’t only one or two people, but to all over 10.000 soldiers! Then again, they looked at the Avengers and saw that the Hulk was mowing down the enemy’s soldier, destroying the huge worm-like thing that kept spewing new units of soldiers and breaking down any flying unit that he could grab on.
The enemy, too, was trying hard to keep the Hulk down by bombarding him with endless bullets! This endless harassment immediately backfired as the only thing it accomplished was making the Hulk angrier than he was! He started to thrash around more violently as time went by.
No matter how many enemies came to stop him, the Hulk wouldn’t even slow down!
In addition to that, the Sorcerer Portal was still open, sending the enemy inside Wakanda’s barrier with ease. This was a problem as no matter how many enemies they have beaten, the enemy’s number wouldn’t reduce!
Moreover, the Chitauri foot soldier began to throw a grenade towards the Avengers and the Wakanda army, defeating many soldiers at once!
Once again, Wakanda’s army had never experienced fighting against the enemy from another galaxy like this. They were severely limited in terms of information, so they couldn’t predict and react to the enemy’s move. Furthermore, the suicide attack from the Chitauri was still in full swing too!
The energy Cape that the Wakanda’s army treasured could only absorb so much as it finally gave out and broke apart.
Wakanda’s army was really in a pickle right now as they couldn’t kill the enemy since they would explode, but if they didn’t kill the enemy, then they would just bombard the defence line with their grenade!
This was an absolute madness that they hadn’t encountered since forever!
