Day Ninety-Five…

Even after their intense physical activity last night, Jane managed to wake up early to prepare for her trip. She was having an outing together with her comrades. The entire Phantom Assassin Guild decided to go on a three-day outing.

Hanabi and Tatsumi would tag along with them.

Nathan and Ethan sat on the bed, observing Jane as she prepared her backpack.

"Mommy, can we go with you?" Ethan didn't want her to leave. He wanted to come with her.

"I also filed a leave," Nathan also chimed in.

Jane turned to face them. She chuckled.

"I thought you would never ask me. Actually, if you want to tag along, I won't stop you. You can invite Stephen and Aiden to join us as well."

Ethan's eyes lit up upon hearing that. Nathan also nodded with a smile. The father and son duo were just waiting for Jane's approval to bring them with her.

"Mommy, I'll go and pack up my things!" Ethan ran out of the room.

On the other hand, Nathan stood up, approaching Jane. When he reached her spot, he immediately pulled her, stealing a kiss on her lips.

Jane was caught by surprise as he pinned her on the cabinet. "Tell me… What kind of spell did you cast on me? I can't get enough of you," he whispered sensually, his heated gaze locking on her. Jane just blinked, staring back at him. She didn't know what to say.

Before she could utter a word, Nathan lifted her chin and sealed her lips with his mouth, kissing her passionately.

His persistent mouth devoured her lips, his tongue tracing and licking the surface of her lips. Then he nibbled on her lower lip, urging her to open her mouth.

Jane's hands clutched his shirt tightly, pulling him harder against her as they deepened the kiss further. The sound of wet kisses echoed in the room– tongue after tongue… lips after lips. They were both on fire!

'Damn. I want her more,' Nathan thought to himself before he drew back to gasp some air.

Jane also panted heavily as she tried to catch her breath.

Nathan gazed at her intently and possessively as if he were undressing her. She felt the rush of burning passion in her core.

"Nate," she called out to him, her hands pressing against his sturdy chest. She could feel the fast beating of his heart.

Nathan could only swallow hard. The way she called his name made him yearn for more.

"Sigh. Don't tease me like this. Otherwise, I'm going to take you right here and right then." Nathan sighed helplessly, leaning in to plant a gentle kiss on her forehead.

"However, we might miss your flight," he added.

He knew he had to stop and restrain himself, otherwise, they would be late for the flight.

"We can use your private plane," Jane replied, teasing him further. She winked at him as she tugged his collar, pulling his face closer to hers.

They were about to kiss again but suddenly…

"Mommy! I'm done packing!" Ethan happily barged in, stopping the two from kissing each other.

Jane simply pushed Nathan, clearing her throat. She tried to conceal her reddened cheeks, acting natural in front of their son.

"Okay, Baby. I'm almost done." Jane smiled sheepishly before glancing meaningfully at Nathan. He was the cause of the delay since he distracted her earlier.

"Nate, can I bring your laptop? Let me borrow it." Jane planned to continue writing her diary on Nathan's laptop and sent the scheduled email to her own account.

"Sure. You can use mine," He promptly responded.

"Thank you, Darling!" Jane blurted out, making Nathan blush. The word 'Darling' hit him hard, making his heart flutter.

Ethan grinned from ear to ear as he watched his parents with their sweet interactions.

"Oh, Mommy, I forgot something. Take your time!" Ethan was very sensible, allowing Jane and Nathan to have their moments.

He left the room in a hurry. When he closed the door behind him, Ethan giggled. Then he raised his hand for a high five.

"Bam-Bam!" He called out to the magical creature flying in front of him.

"Master Ethan!" Bam-Bam greeted him back.

Ethan opened his arms as he hugged Bam-Bam.

"Let's go and play. I'll introduce you to my robotic friends." Ethan continued carrying Bam-Bam as he proceeded to his room.

Last night, at Mr. At Hiroshi's Villa, Ethan had overheard the conversation between Bam-Bam and Jane. He was fully aware of what was going to happen after one hundred days.

"Master Ethan, aren't you going to tell your Mom that you know something about her mission?" Bam-Bam asked the young boy curiously.

Ethan smiled, shaking his head. "No need to tell her. Besides, you already said that my Mommy would forget some of her memories. I just want to enjoy every moment with my parents."

Bam-Bam nodded in understanding. "Okay, Master Ethan. I'm still really surprised that you can see me. I thought only your mother traveled back in time. But you are also here."

Ethan let out a soft chuckle. "When I was dying, I wished for something. I don't want to leave my Mom alone. I don't want to see her cry again. Bam-Bam, she can't lose Dad and me. We will stay by her side."

Bam-Bam felt relieved upon hearing that. "Master Jane is so lucky to have you as her son. Don't worry. Your mother will get the happiness she deserves. She will live with you and your Dad. Please take good care of her."

Ethan nodded. "Yes. I will take care of both of them."

Bam-Bam could only smile, feeling at ease. Jane was not alone in this mission. Ethan was always there, supporting her.

"Bam-Bam… you haven't told my Mom the truth. About your sacrifices." Ethan's face turned solemn.

Bam-Bam fell silent. "I don't want her to know… because she will be sad. Besides, she will eventually forget about my existence so there is no need to tell her. It will only break her heart."

Ethan took a deep sigh. "Bam-Bam, thank you for sacrificing your life to give my mother another chance to be with me and my Dad."

Jane was not aware that Bam-Bam would disappear like a bubble once she succeeded in her mission. Bam-Bam exchanged his life to revive Jane, Nathan, and Ethan–his life in exchange for their lives.
