She swayed, nearly keeling over. Spinning around, she grabbed Dan Hanxi’s collar.

Clutching Dan Hanxi’s neck, she made an earnest attempt to throw him over her shoulder.

Just as she began to act, a deep voice echoed from behind, “What’s all this commotion about?”

“I was stuck in traffic and that’s why I am late, please punish me as you see fit.” Dan Hanxi responded, bowing slightly and maintaining his composed demeanor.

Hearing his words, Qin Youxuan sighed in annoyance.

That’s the excuse Dan Hanjie just used; it seemed that the Dan brothers were equally flippant in their apologies.

“No matter, at least, you are here now. Come with me to greet the elders, they’ve been waiting a long time for you. Take this seriously.” Dan Rong did not acknowledge Qin Youxuan’s presence from start to finish, and walking away without a second thought.

Unpleased with her resistance, Dan Hanjie leaned in and bit hard onto her earlobe.

Qin Youxuan stretched her hand trying to push his head away, her delicate face completely buried in his chest, her hands scratching against him like a kitten.
