A Demon Lord's Tale: Dungeons, Monster Girls, and Heartwarming Bliss

Yes, yes

It had been a little while since our trip to the Erlin Cooperative Union ended.

We were back to our daily routines again. Illuna and the others went to school while the adults spent the day taking care of Riou and Sakuya.

As for me, I checked on the pets, the dungeon, and occasionally checked on the demon situation in the Rogard Empire.

I would go on another trip soon, but for now, I would probably stay in the dungeon and relax.

…I didn’t want Sakuya to find something strange every time I go on a trip once a month or so.

I didn’t need any more weapons from the Divine series. No, seriously.

Anyway, that’s how we started our usual days, but – one thing had changed.

Riou was now able to crawl.

Nell was the one who was cheering like she was a high school girl.

But that was to be expected.

Riou, who seemed to really enjoy crawling and moving around the room like an exploding locomotive, was energetically exploring the room in circles before finally heading for her mothers, bumping into Lyuu, and smiling happily.

“Haha, this girl is so full of energy. She’s just like a beast.” (Lyuu)

Lyuu held Riou by her feet.

“Auuuh!” (Riou)

Riou, in a good mood, laughed with joy at being held by her mother, but apparently she still wanted to crawl. She started twisting her body and flapping her arms and legs.

Lyuu put her down with a wry smile, and Riou went back to being a baby crawling wildly.

“Being lively is good. I’m sure her body will get stronger.” (Lefi)

“That’s right. I bet Lyuu was like this when she was a baby.” (Nell)

“Well, I feel that Riou is already like Lyuu in every way at this point.” (Layla)

“….I think so too. We have to raise her not to be like us… Yes, I think she should be like Layla.” (Lyuu)

“Oh, I’m so happy to hear that!” (Layla)

“Well, what about me?” (Nell)

“Well…” (Layla)

“Nell is a bit of a radical these days, just like Husband, so she’s no good.” (Lyuu)

“Boo, I’m not radical, am I?” (Nell)

“Didn’t he just say in a roundabout way that he didn’t want to end up like you?” (Lyuu)

“I’m sorry, but I can’t deny what Lyuu said…” (Nell)

“You don’t mind being humiliated yourself as long as I am humiliated along, huh?” (Yuki)

“That’s what it means to be in this together, isn’t it? Don’t worry, we’ll be your wife, no matter how much of a fool you are. We’ll tell our children not to be like you.” (Nell)

“Can you stop stabbing me in the back like you’re saying something nice?” (Yuki)

And it was actually Setsu who seemed happiest when Riou was able to move like that.

“Kuu-kuu!” (Setsu)

Setsu followed Riou as she moved around, wagging her tail, passing her, circling her, and rubbing her body against hers.

Yes, we couldn’t take our eyes off her. we were unable to take our eyes off her more than she was unable to take her eyes off Setsu.

We try not to put things within Riou’s reach, but with many people in our house, it couldn’t be helped that some things are simply placed all over the place.

And, although I didn’t think she could reach the door, there was still a possibility that she might fumble to the dungeon door and end up going outside… I would have to get a simple fence.

And as I watched over the two playing around, I then moved my focus to Sakuya, who was playing with a toy near Lefi and her big sisters.

Sakuya first tried to crawl like Riou, but he couldn’t, so he gave up and played with his toys, but soon enough, the energetic two also went to him.

“Kuh!” (Setsu)

Setsu barked to say, “Come play with us!” to Sakuya, and then after being covered in drool by Setsu, finally took his hand off the toy and started petting Setsu happily, and then Riou joined in as well. They then started to play together.

“Kaka, they are so close, these siblings. They know they are sisters and brothers, don’t they?” (Lefi)

“Also, it seems like Riou recognizes Setsu’s position as the older sister. Thanks for taking care of them, Setsu. For taking care of the two of them.” (Yuki)

“Kuu! Kuu-kuu!” (Setsu)

Setsu was trying to say, “We’re all flock mates. It’s only natural for us to get along.” and licked their faces and heads as if she was grooming them.

Haha, I would have to give them a bath later.

And so we all relaxed, watching those sisters and brothers play.
