A God Killed Me By Accident, But I Reincarnated As The 4th Son Of The Marquis

Volume 13 Chapter 49: Cook Off!

Volume 13 Chapter 49: Cook Off!

“Boss, when did you get a daughter?” This was not the end; the adventurers and the customers saw the new individual. Keith carried her in his arms while pushing the cart. The fluffy child sat on the bench, eating with the two puffballs. It was hard not to notice her.

"It just happened. She's not my daughter. She's more like a little sister."

"Really?" Dennis glanced at her and back at Keith, "Feels more like a daughter than a sister."

Groa nodded, "Definitely a daughter."

"..."

“Oh, isn't she the fox girl that always comes here to eat?” Madison realized.

Keith nodded, “Yep, yep. And guys, stop eyeing her like that; you’re making her uncomfortable.” The adventurers watched her snack. And it was clearly making her antsy; her tail slowly jolted upwards.

Shakti sighed, “We can't help it.” The adorableness was killing them. How could someone be so fluffy and cute? They wanted to pinch her cheeks.

Keith shook his head as he continued to cook. But as he was doing that, that was when he heard something that caused him to pause,

“So this is where you are.” Keith looked up to see someone staring down at him. “Umm, who are you?” That was someone he had never met before.

“I’m the great Brian! The head chef of the Scorl shop! Come work for me.”

“Not interested.” Keith rolled his eyes, which only caused Brian's eyes to twitch weirdly.

"I'm giving you a wonderful opportunity. You dare kick my graciousness away."

"I'm good."

"How dare you! Do you think your food is all that? It's trash compared to mine!" He grabbed the skewer and stomped on it!

"..."

“Huh?” Keith’s eyes twitched weirdly.

Everyone paused as they heard a dark and unsettling sound from Keith's mouth. However, they all knew what to do; take a big step back! He was full of killing intent!

Carolyn and Krystal immediately covered Eri’s eyes and ears. What they were about to witness next was a blood bath. A blood bath that would cause anyone to be afraid.

“You’re looking to die, huh?” Keith crunched his knuckles as he was prepared to blow this guy apart.

Someone throwing his food down and stomping it before him would make anyone furious. That was not something he would stand for as well!

His hand sparked with lightning.

"Oh, boy." Titus and the others gulped. However, there was no fight.

“Enough, how about we do something else?” Erwin and Cadmus stepped in. Keith’s eyes narrowed, “What do you mean?”

“How about we compete to see who will be considered the better chef?” Competition? The customers became intrigued.

“The best chef, huh?” That was more than enticing to all of them.

Brian said, "Sure! That's perfect!"

”Same!” And Keith was incredibly focused on this as well.

“Hohoho! That's great. How about this? You two must make a three-course meal with the ingredients you hand to us. Is that fine with you two?”

“Sure.” "...Fine."

“The cooking battle shall be in five days!” “We’ll set the stage!” And like that, the battle between chefs was underway!

Keith returned home, and Diana noticed the dark expression.

Everyone was surprised as they asked, “What’s the matter?”

“Keith's participating in a cooking competition.”

“Eh?” The others were dumbfounded. Heading to the living room, that was when Carolyn and Krystal explained. Herrick and the others couldn’t believe that something like this would go on.

Alfia thought, "Then this competition will display your abilities." That was something all of them had realized. Keith was going to show everyone his style of cooking.

“Mmhmm.” Keith nodded, “Going to have to think up different menu items.” A good number of recipes came to mind. Despite the challenge and anger he had, there was pure excitement. It had been long since he had been challenged to a cook-off.

“Well, I’m going to rest.” Keith picked up Eri as he was going to get some shut-eye. Once he left, Aidiun asked, “What is this idiot planning with all of this?” Cadmus was the one who started this.

“But I’m curious about this. Could Keith be able to make a three-course meal?”

...Now that you mention it.

The others were lost in thought about this. A three-course meal would be considered fine dining; this was not up Keith's alley. Most of the time, he would cook homely dishes.

Fira pouted, "Keith is able to do it!" She had absolute faith in the man! He was a person who could do something unbelievable than others.

“Yeah!” “It’s Keith!” “There’s really nothing to worry about.” The others were the same as well. There was no way Keith was going to lose this.
