Volume 14 Chapter 3: Adding More 

“We’re going to be taking our break now!” Keith stated as he finished up his order. He took out some skewers. 

“Here you go.” 

“Thank you.” The ladies started to eat. After a hard day's work, they needed to refuel their energy. As they ate, they noticed everyone eyeing them. This will continue...actually, it will never end. They would always stare at them with drool slowly dripping down the side of their lips.

"Papa." Eri walked up to him and raised her hands.  

“Mmhmm.” Keith picked her up and washed her hands. 

"Thank you!" Eri smiled.

Shakti tilted her head, "You guys are father and daughter." 

"I know." Keith smiled as he gently wiped the fox's cheeks. He placed her down to let her play with Mir and Lei.  

“Child, would you like to open a store with me?” Baker questioned as he turned to him. Keith tilted his head, “Hmm?” 

"I feel like we can make something great."

"...I'm sorry. But I'm not looking to open a store." Keith shook his head, "I like what I have right now. But if you need help with recipes, then I could help."  

“…I see.” Baker smiled as he heard the rejections but didn’t mind it. “I’ll be one of your first customers when you open your store.”

"I'll hold you to that." Keith laughed as he got up. The break was over, and he returned to make food for all of them. Nephele groaned, "Let's do this!" The two were going strong, feeding anyone they could. After some time, it was time for them to head home.

Nephele laughed, “There’s going to be many people coming here now.”

“I can tell.” Keith chuckled. Today's customers were quite more so when he won that competition.

Returning to the mansion, Keith noticed that everyone was not in the living room. Eri was still riding his shoulders, “Gala!”

“Ahh, you want to play with Gala, alright.” Keith laughed as he entered the second island; that was when he saw the rest. Some were training while the others were resting in the pergola.

“Welcome back, Everyone!” Fira slowly floated over to his side. Keith patted her head, “Yep, I’m back.”

“Keith, here’s some tea.” Diana had brought out a kettle for them. Keith sat inside the pergola and started to sip his tea easily.

"Did something happen today?” Gabriel tilted his head as he stared at them. From how tired Nephele and Keith looked, it had to be something. Keith laughed, “Yeah, I didn’t expect it either. By the way, can I ask for two more people to help with the cart tomorrow?” 

"So that many people came today, huh?"

“Mmhmm. Scarlet and Sarah had to deal with all of them by themselves.” Keith felt bad for the two who had to deal with that many customers.

Faelyn nodded, “Understood, I will help out.” 

Alfia added, “Gotcha.” They were more than fine with assisting him. 

“Thank you-what do you want?” Keith then noticed the expression they had as they stared at him. Clearly, they wanted something in return. 

Alfia smiled, “I want to eat some good sweets!” “Yeah!” “Make something really delicious for us.” It was an ask and receive as they wanted a reward. 

“Sure, do you want chocolate cookies?” “Yippe!” Baking some simple chocolate cookies was simple enough. Making the batter was simple, but that was when he placed some chocolate chips in one while the other was double chocolate. While it baked, Carolyn and the others sniffled.

Scarlet's shoulders relaxed, “Smelling chocolate is always the best scent.” “Indeed.” 

“Guys, aren’t you eating too much?” Keith stared at the ladies as they gorged themselves on the cookies. They were eating like there was nothing to lose.

Sarah muttered, “Keith, these are the most delicious things on earth! There’s no way we can stop!” “Yeah! Those chocolates are quite delicious!” 

“…” Forget I even ask. Gabriel and the others had to scoot back away from them as they ate ferociously. Eri had one, but she raised it, “Papa, ahh.” 

“Thank you.” Keith didn’t mind as he took a bite from it, “Delicious, but you should eat some more Eri.” Those cheeks need plush. He gently pinched them. 

“Okay.” Eri started to munch more. But that caused Carolyn to hug his arm, “Hey! What about me?” “What about you?” “Meanie!”
