Zuri finally fell asleep and Khaos mindlinked Gayle to bring Glinda to the room to treat her wound. The silver had burned her skin.
"It will leave scar." Glinda stared at the red loop around her wrist. "I will make a concoction for it."
Glinda felt bad when she saw Zuri's condition, but feeling bad was not enough. She had dedicated her life for the cult. Her loyalty was on the cult. Her loyalty was on her master.
"You can leave," Khaos said after Glinda explained a few things about the wound. For now, they needed to keep the wound dry.@@novelbin@@
"Lucas wanted to talk with you, alpha, his brother just arrived last night," Gayle said, after Glinda left the room to make a concoction. "Do you want to see him?"
