Chapter 287 Chapter 287: An Horror Called MadWhite 2
The first thing that caught Ryuk's attention were the two blood-red guns held in both arms.
They dripped with red and dark blood, a mixture of Titan and human, yet they also radiated an intense death aura that made him unconsciously feel his heart beating faster in his chest.
"That gun will kill me!"
The chilling thought was the first thing that appeared in Ryuk's head as his body subconsciously shifted into a battle-ready mode.
But then, looking from the guns upwards, he saw a figure with sword marks all over a well define musculature, covered in dark blood—a mixture of that of Titans and himself.
"It's been a long time, kiddo."
The thick voice barrelled through the long hall as Ryuk rose back upright, a grin appearing at the corner of his lips—the exact same one on MadWhite's bloodstained face.
"Yeah, Old Man. It's been a really long time."
"Hahaha!"
Boisterous laughter left MadWhite's lips as he slowly walked forward towards Ryuk, appearing just a few inches before him.
Now, they both stood at the same height.
It's a vast difference compared to the last time.
MadWhite's right gun disappeared as he raised his hands and clapped them on Ryuk's shoulders.
"The height of your power has increased more than last time. I feel like you won't break much of a sweat before making quick work of me..." MadWhite said as Ryuk scoffed.
"You might look one step to the grave, but anyone who underestimates you will turn into that hedgehog over there..."
Ryuk said, turning his gaze to the Titan behind him, who was completely reduced to just that.
Now, he knew what was responsible for those wounds.
And what else, if not for MadWhite's own gunshots?
"No. That one was a fool."
MadWhite said, placing his hands on Ryuk's shoulders as he helped him stand up properly before they both teered toward the elevator, which soon closed up, weaving them back upwards.
DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!
It was the sound of the elevator opening up as Ryuk stepped forth into the hall, and MadWhite's eyes flashed when he saw hundreds of Titan bodies piled over the ground.
They looked dead, but MadWhite knew better.
Ryuk noticed the girl he had spared had disappeared, but he didn't really care much as the ground beneath his feet hardened, and he raised himself and MadWhite into the air, further manipulating gravity to make it easier.
But now that they ascended into the air, MadWhite saw much more of the situation.
The Pyramid itself looked shattered into two—a mere fragment compared to how he had remembered it when he had been locked down here.
And now, there were a total of three figures standing in the air.
One of the Titans was a white-haired one, who surprisingly had a few holes opening up along his legs, his teeth clenching hard when he looked at MadWhite.
Ryuk's expression dropped, and he couldn't help but give another side glance to his MadWhite who shrugged helplessly.
"And that one is a coward..."
MadWhite replied to him as Ryuk clapped his face, but then his gaze tightened when he saw the lady.
The lady Titan with crimson-red eyes that seemed no different from blood.
There was another Titan man, but they both stood behind her obediently, instantly showing the hierarchy.
What was even weirder was the fact that the two men behind her seemed to have the same aura of Yitro, yet they were seemingly bowing slightly to the lady.
It showed she was on another level of power, higher than them—no doubt.
MadWhite only stared at the lady for a while before he focused his attention back on the Yitro who was nailed by the gigantic Ice Sword, and his brows furrowed.
"Why?"
He suddenly asked, attracting the attention of all five people in the area.
"Huh?" Ryuk replied.
"Why didn't you kill any of the Titans?"
"Even this big one is not dead yet, and all those on the lower floor are alive. You're only knocking them out? Why don't you just kill their pathetic selves off?"
MadWhite asked, and Ryuk could sense his lackadaisical attitude about killing off the Titans, which caused the two male Titans in front of them to click their tongues in anger.
"Well, you know, I don't have a problem with the Titans, remember? I'm only here to get you out."
Ryuk whispered back to MadWhite but clearly ringing through the area.
And finally, MadWhite turned his head to the red eyes Titan female.
"So, what will it be, Natasha? Wanna hold me down still?"
MadWhite asked as his guns reappeared in his hands.
The two men behind Natasha backed off from the sight, while Natasha's gaze remained on Ryuk instead.
"To break into the Titan Pyramid Base and bust out an A-Grade prisoner is a one-way ticket to declaring yourself an enemy of the Titan Race. Are you sure you want to continue with this objective?"
Natasha asked as Ryuk slowly floated up with MadWhite in his arms.
"If I were the Titan Family, I would be more worried about them making an enemy out of me..."
He responded, the calmness in his voice slicing into the spines of the three Titans whose eyes flashed in shock from the weight of his words.

And without wasting any more seconds, Ryuk and MadWhite's figures wrapped into space, and instantly, they became light beams that shot into the distance.
"Tch! Who asked you to go?!"
The short Titan said as he tried to chase after their figures, but then a voice resounded behind them.
"If you follow them, you won't return alive."
Natasha's pan dead voice rang out as he instantly stopped in his steps, his eyes flashing in shock as he turned back to look at her and found her looking below her feet instead.
"Why? Why are we letting them go without any fight whatsoever after they killed Kyle. We Clearly Outnumber them 3 to 2!"
