Chapter 405 405: The Void Asura Grimoire
Opening to the first page, it read...
"A Forbidden Physique Cultivation Manual written in the aftermath of extinction."
"Huh?" That was the word that left Ryuk's lips as he re-read the words in italicized letters on the first page.
His creased eyebrows slowly settled and he turned to the second page.
Introduction: The Legacy of the Void Asuras
This manual is not theory neither is it philosophy.
It is survival—rewritten in bones and blood.
The Void Asuras were not myths.
They were a devil race that commanded raw Void, leaving dead dimensions in their wake.
Their bodies weren't born—they were forged, piece by piece, through pain, war, and will.
I, the writer of this manual, was someone who had stood with the Void Asuras when they ruled across the shattered timelines and broken planes.
Not as one of them—but as someone who studied them, fought beside them, and survived what followed when their reign collapsed.
The Void Asuras were not gods, nor were they monsters.
They were a race built entirely around control of Void Energy—a pure destructive force that ignores laws and corrupts structure.
They conquered reality not through balance or philosophy, but through power—physical, mental, and emotional.
They didn't fall because they were weak. They fell because they turned on each other.
I have created this manual because I believe one can rise again—not to rebuild their empire, but to build something stronger.
A single successor.
Someone who understands strength and control.
This manual doesn't require faith, bloodlines, or guidance from anyone else. It is self-contained.
Be warned that it will hurt, and it will change you.
But if endured, it will make you more than mortal.
At the end of the manual, you may choose to accept the Asura Legacy Protocol.
Accepting it will unlock a Rift—a stable dimensional tear leading to a realm saturated with Void energy, where cultivation will progress faster... and more violently.
It will also unlock an evolution path that slowly mutates your body into that of a Void Asura.
This path is irreversible.
And that way, the introduction ends.
"A cultivation manual? No. It's a rebirth manual that turns a cultivator into another race. A race known for being very powerful at controlling the Void?" Ryuk mused to himself, summarizing the truth of all that he had read.
He read through the Asura Legacy Protocol part, giving him the urge to quickly swerve to the end of the book, but then, he decided to simply keep going page by page.
When he reached the end, he would have understood more. And so, willing, he moved to the third page of the book.
HOW TO CULTIVATE:
Stage One – Fangs of the Abyss
"To become a Void Asura, your body must collapse and rebuild—like a dying star becoming a black hole. It starts from within."
Initial Mutations: Arms and Legs
Core Objective: Awaken 9 Void Nodes and stabilize the forming Black Hole Core.
The cultivation revolves around forming 9 Void Nodes—corrupted Void cores embedded into vital parts of the body. These nodes awaken a format gravitational force inside the user, using what is known as the Black Hole Core, the centre of all Void Asura Mutations.
Void Node Anchors:
Cerebral Node – Brain (Mental stabilization, Void perception)
Core Node – Heart (Primary Void energy absorption)
Spinal Node 1 – Base of Spine (Mobility foundation)
Spinal Node 2 – Mid Spine (Balance, posture adaptation)
Spinal Node 3 – Upper Spine (Reaction and agility)
Shoulder Node L – Left Shoulder (Channel for arm mutation)
Shoulder Node R – Right Shoulder (Channel for arm mutation)
Knee Node L – Left Knee (Channel for lower body enhancement)
Knee Node R – Right Knee (Channel for lower body enhancement)
As each node is awakened, it pulls Void energy into your body like a gravitational well, subtly changing your biology.
When all 9 nodes are active, the Black Hole Core forms in your heart region—a dense, self-sustaining nucleus of power.
The stronger your Black Hole Core, the stronger your physical mutation and Void abilities become.
Cultivation Requirements:
Environment
Real World Option: Train in areas of spatial decay; cursed ruins, collapsed temples, ancient war zones that still leak dimensional instability.
Void Rift Option(Comes with the Contract): Gravehold Spires – A torn dimension of floating ruins.
Space constantly distorts, gravity bends, and air hums with Void Pressure. The perfect place for forcing Void adaptation.
Stance of Cultivation
Standing on both feet, crouched low like a predator. Palms facing downward, spine arched like a coiled beast with your head lowered but alert.
Open your maw wide to allow for the entrance of Void energy. This posture promotes natural Void flow through the bones and limbs.
Method of Cultivation
Inhale raw Void Energy in rhythmic pulses. Focus on one Node at a time, beginning with the Core Node in the heart.
Embrace the chaos, pain, and dizziness—it's how your body aligns.
Once a Node stabilizes, it will visibly pulse with an internal black-red glow.
After all 9 are formed, you'll feel an intense compression in the chest. That's the Black Hole Core forming—your first real step toward becoming a Void Asura.
SKILLS TO BE AWAKENED ON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION
Mutation 1: Abyssal Claws (Right and Left Arm)
Upon reaching Node 7, your dominant arm fractures from the inside. Void filaments replace muscle Fibers. Armor-like plating of blackened bone forms, ending in talons sharper than spirit-forged blades.
Effects:
Overwhelming power that slashes through shields of energy and all forms of defence.
Phase Attack: Your claws can momentarily shift into the Void to bypass surface defences.
Inflict: Void Erosion – A status that drains, decays, and disrupts cultivation flow.
Special Void Effect: Enemies killed by the claws leave Residual Fragments. Absorbing these boosts affinity and restores energy.
Mutation 2: Void Step Legs (Lower Body)
Upon reaching Node 9, your legs undergo a transformation.
Effects:
Bones restructure into a were beast-like frame—digitigrade and optimized for explosive mobility.
Muscles shift to allow unnatural angles of motion.
Special Void Effect: Rapid Flicker Step that phases partially through space, bypassing terrain or mid-combat obstacles (Up to 10,000 meters).
Like that, the page ended, leaving Ryuk completely breathless, as he felt his head bumping from the amount of information.
"This is very different. Very different from the usual cultivation techniques."
What do you think?
