Chapter 110: 067 Ambush the Special Agent Group!

“Lyu, report on the Second Prince’s situation.”

“He successfully arrived inside the Imperial Palace and entered an area I cannot monitor, surrounded by a large number of guards.”

Lyu appeared in the vehicle’s central control holographic projection, quickly removed his sunglasses, his expression meticulous.

“A general embedded by the Second Prince within the royal family’s direct legion has surfaced; it is Fremont, the deputy commander of the guards.”

Yang Ming stared at the empty expressway ahead, murmuring, “This guy really just couldn’t make up his mind, he’s been preparing for a long time.”

“But boss,” Lyu said, “based on my analysis of the Second Prince’s character, he probably won’t directly force the coup. He’s been out of contact with the ministers and currently doesn’t have the conditions for a palace coup.”

...

“That’s his own affair; we trust our partners. Send me the images from Lulian’s direction.”

“Okay, boss.”

Lyu’s virtual image disappeared, replaced by a slowly rotating holographic map.

Four heavy trucks sped in a direction away from Ilando City, escorted by several models of hover cars.

“This is their temporary command center; agents scattered throughout Ilando City have already gone into stealth mode.”

Lyu added, “Their professionalism is unquestionable, and the execution speed of the emergency procedure is remarkable.”

Yang Ming thought for a few seconds, “Analyze the possibility of the New Federation completely abandoning this batch of agents.”

“Almost zero,” Lyu explained, “the New Federation CIA won’t abandon such a large group of elites; even if it means putting pressure directly on the Luofeng Empire, they will ensure their safe departure.”

“That’s quite true,” Yang Ming clicked his tongue, “this CIA still has some humanity.”

“If these agents were captured alive, it would bring great reputational damage to the New Federation,” Lyu added, “in extreme cases, the New Federation would choose to destroy its own agents, publicly claiming it as a noble sacrifice.”

“Damn! A bunch of scum!”

Yang Ming cursed softly.

Lyu reminded, “Boss, tonight, what we need to do is drive out the agents, ease the situation, and buy time and space for your promotion.

“Creating fear for the senior agent Lulian is our top priority tonight.

“Making the Wind royal family feel the enormous threat looming near is the second priority.

“Only after meeting these two conditions could you, boss, selectively unleash your combat desire.”

“I have no desire for combat; no one loves peace more than I do.”

Yang Ming exhaled lightly.

“Proceed according to my plan; if I get impulsive, find a way to hold me back.”

“Got it, boss, you are about to enter the mountain tunnel ahead.”

Yang Ming slammed the accelerator to the floor, making the beast charge at full speed past the ‘construction ahead’ projected sign, plunging into a surveillance dead zone.

Inside the tunnel, an unmanned taxi hovered quietly.

The ‘beast’ initiated its reverse thruster for emergency braking, and before it came to a full stop, Yang Ming pushed open the car door and jumped out, rolling twice on the ground to dissipate the momentum, and quickly dived into the taxi’s back seat.

A glowing disk was left on the beast’s driver’s seat, as Yang Ming’s humanoid projection ‘sat’ in the driver’s position, almost indistinguishable from the real thing.

The ‘beast’ sped up again, roaring out of the tunnel. Next, it would, under Lyu’s driving, turn to take a scenic drive along the coastal highway.

This ordinary taxi made a turn, left the mountain tunnel via the construction passage, and unhurriedly drove into the deep night sky, gradually surpassing the legal hover car ascent height.

Yang Ming busied himself in the back seat for a while.

He clumsily stripped down to his boxer shorts, grabbed the black tight-fitting combat suit, and put it on, then unhurriedly opened the box in front of the car seat and pulled out some disguising equipment.

Luofeng Empire military standard tactical helmet, royal guard regiment uniform and boots, a new pair of sunglasses.

“Activate facial disguise.”

“Facial disguise activated.”

“Lock on the vehicle where the senior agent Lulian is.”

“Locked.”

“Lyu, what’s in those trucks?”

“It’s those few sets of powerful New Federation mecha, the target we need to force out tonight, the main event of the Torch Plan,” Lyu’s voice carried a hint of hesitation, “you might be able to withstand their shoulder cannon strikes.”

Yang Ming furrowed his brow.

Might?

That was not a pleasant adverb.

“You can do it, Edwan! You can do it!”

In front of the towering, magnificent doors inlaid with various non-radiative precious metals, the Second Prince slapped his cheeks hard, his previously gloomy face reverting to its usual look.

An elderly guard hurriedly came up: “Your Highness, His Majesty hasn’t… hasn’t said you can go in yet.”

Edwan shouted, “Hey! They’re discussing national matters and excluding me; it’s not fair!”

“But Your Highness, you…”

There was a hint of worry in the old guard’s eyes.

“I’m fine, go and tell my father that! Go quickly!”

Edwan continued to shout loudly, “I can breathe, think, and remain rational! They can’t just let those New Federation bastards run wild on our turf! Why haven’t we asked the Sherman Empire for help yet? Is our annual protection fee wasted?

“The rebellion on the Fifth Administrative Star has already caused massive capital outflows; our market could collapse at any time, and there’s not much foreign capital to begin with; panic will accelerate their departure! Do we want to be the poorest royal family? Right now, the various royal expenses are maintained by this little bit of industry; now our industry faces a tremendous threat!”
