Abyssal Sovereign: The Demon's Dominion

Chapter 163 A fishy story

Finally, after a few hours, Abornim saw the first lights from different cities, and he had to admit—this place was too big. No wonder the gods were stronger than he remembered.

He was a peak Rank 1 being, and they… he didn't know their ranks, but they should be as strong as he was, or stronger. Either way, observe first before taking action.

Void could be described as a straightforward person, unlike most protagonists who plan attacks and patiently wait. Those terrifying monsters lurking behind the scenes, making plans and watching everyone fall into them—for example, Fang Yuan, a cold, ruthless, demonic MC. The most feared trait of Fang Yuan was his scheming mind.

But for Void's main body, what was the point? This, of course, had to do with the power he wielded—the quick power he possessed. For those original sin demons, they had grown for millions and millions of years; they were all old foxes.

But Void reached their level billions of years ago in just thousands of years, so he wasn't lacking in strength. He preferred being someone who understood a situation before going into it, but Void? He didn't care, and there was a reason. No matter how scheming or high your IQ was, it was all invalid if the opponent was too strong. Personal strength breaks all things, or so it is said.

"What billions-of-years-old monster? In front of me, you are nothing. Who cares about your schemes? I can come directly for you and kill you easily, so why bother myself?"

Finally, Abornim walked to what seemed like a hotel to him. It was luxurious and beautiful, filled with elegant designs and world-class merchandise that would even awe the rich.

At the door, a steady crowd of humans came and went. That urban taste and smell were vivid—horns of cars, exhaust from pipes, the aroma of food, and the like. All of this was heightened because of Abornim's enhanced body.

Before he left, Void gave him a spatial ring with a lot of clothes, so he changed into them. He couldn't be naked, and then he covered the girl in a bikini with some clothes.

He entered the high-end hotel with the unconscious lady.

All eyes were on him. First, his handsome face, and second, him carrying the girl.

Walking to the counter, a young man smiled as he saw him.

"Welcome to the ***** Hotel. Would you like to book a room, and if so, what are your specifications?" the receptionist asked. His voice seemed passive, making you want to engage in the conversation.

"Yeah, just give me any room," Abornim said, and the receptionist's smile widened.

"A rich one, huh?"

"This is the key to the room on the fifth floor. Price: 14k dollars," the receptionist said, and Abornim opened his mouth.

He just remembered he had forgotten something—to get money before coming here.

"Hm, will you take gold instead?" Abornim asked, and the receptionist shook his head.

"I will have to call the manager for this..." Just as the receptionist was about to leave, the door opened.

Normally, the door had been opening and closing, but this time it was different. A wild and lostful aura spread around, and everyone's eyes turned towards the figure walking in.

Abornim felt it but ignored it.

"I will pay for his room," a deep male voice said as the figure dropped a large stack of cash on the counter.

"Keep the change," the being said and took the key.

"Follow me," the being said and started moving.

Abornim followed calmly.

This being was tall, and even in clothes, everyone could feel his muscular build. Not to mention the white skin tone, which stood out the most.

Finally, they entered an elevator, and Abornim was able to get a closer look at the being who helped him.

"Kratos," Abornim thought but pretended not to know him.

"Thank you, but who are you?" Abornim asked while holding up the girl. He was standing beside Kratos and was the same height, but their body builds made the difference.

Abornim was a bit muscular, but Kratos was full of muscles.

Setting it to the fifth floor, Kratos calmly replied.

"My name is Kratos," Kratos said, and the elevator fell silent.

After a few seconds, a ding sound was heard as the elevator door opened.

Kratos and Abornim walked out and went to the room written on the key. Opening it with a click, a giant room with a big bed came into view. Not only that, but there was a living room and even a large bathroom.

At the balcony was a large pool of water, designed to be blocked by a thin but strong glass.

It created a dangerous but exquisite view of the city below and a clear view of the beautiful sky and other buildings.

Abornim went to the bed and placed the girl on it.

It was slightly dark now, but the lights in the room were soothing and didn't make it feel dark.

"Now we can talk, Kratos. Why did you help me?" Abornim asked, confused.

"Because of two reasons: first, your aura, and second, the gold you planned to give. I see none on you, meaning you were bluffing," Kratos said, finding a comfortable sitting posture on one of the available chairs.

Also taking a seat, Abornim stayed quiet, and Kratos took that as an answer.

"You're not from this world, same as me," Kratos said, and suddenly Abornim looked at him seriously.

"Kratos? Not from this world? What? How? What happened?" Abornim was utterly confused.

"How did you know?" Abornim asked.

"Simple. Everyone in this world, whether newborn or not, bears a mark of the god they serve. But as for you and me, we bear no mark, and, of course, your chaotic aura can be sensed from a distance," Kratos said as Abornim shrugged.

He was used to staying in the abyss, so he didn't have a problem with the aura. Within a second, his aura disappeared, and Kratos nodded.

"I know you have a story to tell, but I'll go first. I will talk about my origin and how I came to this world," Kratos began.

It turned out that Kratos' origin and story were exactly as expected, and yes, he had killed all the gods. But this is where things got interesting. Kratos explained that, even after killing the gods, he felt empty, his anger unquenched. Seeking solace, he went on to kill all the Titans as well.

And this is where the story took a sharp turn. Killing all the Titans created irreversible consequences for his world.

All evil was released, and humanity fell victim to it. Then, in a fit of madness and rage, Kratos was consumed by the very darkness he had unleashed. Within a few years, he had killed every living being in his world—at least, those on land and in the sky.

Finally, Kratos was left utterly alone, sitting on a cliff overlooking the ocean. His consciousness returned, and with it came regret and sorrow. He reflected on his actions, considering calmly that perhaps torturing the gods or teaching them a lesson would have been better than outright killing them. But now, he had done worse—killing not only the gods and Titans but every living thing on land and in the sky.

Though his strength had grown exponentially, everything else was gone. He had become a sinner to his own world.

The only solace Kratos found was in watching the thriving life of the sea. It was beautiful, and yet he felt unworthy of it.

For years, he sat there, waiting for death, which never came.

This went on for thousands of years until Kratos realized something: his life span had increased, and he no longer aged. It seemed he was immortal.@@novelbin@@

Haunted by memories and vivid images of the humans he had killed—their begging, their terror—Kratos suffered for millennia. These memories replayed in his mind relentlessly, torturing him, until finally, something unexpected happened.

One day, he slept—truly slept—and for the first time, he did not have a nightmare. His mind was at peace.

When he awoke, he realized he was no longer in his world but in a new one, filled with gods.

Recalling the terrible things he had done, Kratos gave up his anger and hatred for the gods and decided to live quietly in this new world.

Abornim's expression shifted multiple times as he listened. Something about Kratos' story felt off. Why had all of this happened? Why did Kratos turn evil after killing the Titans? And how did he end up in a new world with gods, stronger and better than before?

Abornim couldn't shake the feeling that there was someone—or something—behind the scenes, orchestrating everything. He had his suspicions but chose to wait for confirmation.

"Care for a beer?" Kratos asked, walking over to a nearby fridge and pulling out some bottles.

"Yes," Abornim replied, accepting one.

He opened the bottle and began drinking. The beer was strong and bitter, but he found himself wanting more. Though his enhanced body couldn't get drunk, he still enjoyed the taste. Strangely, as he drank, the beer converted into energy, yet he felt oddly addicted to it.

Finally, it was Abornim's turn to share. But instead of revealing the truth, he carefully filtered his story. He told Kratos a fabricated tale about his world—a typical revenge story where his family was killed, and he became a demon as a result.

Kratos listened with a calm smile, but he wasn't the only one paying attention.

Far away, on a bed, a young boy slowly opened his eyes.

A few days ago, he had discovered he had transmigrated into this world. To make matters worse, spiritual qi had begun descending upon it, causing animals and plants to evolve rapidly. The world was becoming increasingly dangerous as human guns and bombs were already proving ineffective.

The boy, being a transmigrator, knew the typical pattern. Humans would soon begin their evolution, but there would be a significant gap in civilization during the process. Blood would flow, and he expected the rise of various beast kings, emperors, and beyond. Humans would suffer greatly before finally making it out.

But the boy wasn't afraid—he was grinning.

Why?

Because he had awakened a system called the Creation System.

It sounded simple, but its power was immense.

With the Creation Origin granted by the system, he began creating. At first, his resources were limited, so he created a prototype—a low-tier world based on Greek mythology. The world was relatively empty, containing only humans and Greek gods. However, he had the ability to fast-forward time.

Now, in that world, it was the modern era. The system had given him a surprise: it had summoned two powerful beings into his creation—Abornim and Kratos.
