A soft kissing sound echoed as a woman walked up to Kai and smiled.

"I love you," Su Yiren said, gazing at him.

Over the years, Su Yiren had grown into a stunning beauty—and now, she was his wife.

"Same," Kai replied casually.

Su Yiren lightly punched his chest.

"Idiot, you never say it back properly," she pouted, making Kai chuckle.

She looked so cute when she frowned—it melted Kai's heart.

"I told you, the day I say it for real, the world will mourn," Kai laughed softly as Su Yiren turned around.

"Blah blah blah… Are you even strong enough to stand against the world?" Su Yiren asked, walking to the edge of their hilltop home.

Behind them stood a beautiful house adorned with flowers and decorations. To the left was a garden, and to the right, an animal pen housing a dog-like creature, a horse-type beast, and several edible animals.

Their home sat atop a hill taller than any mountain, with space spanning thousands of kilometers.

This was their sanctuary—away from the world but close to nature.

As the sun rose, Kai walked up behind Su Yiren and hugged her from behind.

She gasped softly, feeling his strong, muscular body press against her.

Memories of their passionate night flashed through her mind, making her body warm.

"If I'm strong enough to face the world, no one will ever touch you. And if I'm not… then I'll still never let anyone touch my world," Kai whispered, planting a gentle kiss on her neck.

"Bastard," Su Yiren laughed as Kai scooped her up in a princess carry.

"Hey! We just did it for five hours," she protested.

"You're naughty... I was trying to prepare dinner," Kai chuckled, making her blush as he carried her toward the dining area.

He pulled back a wooden chair, set her down gently, and walked into the kitchen.

"Hey, don't blow it up in there!" Su Yiren shouted as Kai laughed, already wearing an apron.

Soon, a delicious aroma filled the house, and Su Yiren waited eagerly as various dishes were laid out before her.

"Ready?" Kai asked, grinning as he sat.

Su Yiren nodded like a cute rabbit. Kai reached out and gently held her face, her cheek resting in his large palm.

"Let's eat, my love," Kai said, pulling his hand back.

Su Yiren opened her eyes and pouted slightly.

"Let's eat," she echoed, and the two began to eat, laugh, and talk like a couple deeply in love.

"Hmm… Kai, I think I need to see the Medicine Emperor," Su Yiren said as Kai raised an eyebrow.

"Hmm? Why?" he asked.

"I feel… something inside me. Like a seed. And it's growing," Su Yiren said seriously.

"You're serious?" Kai asked, shocked. Something was growing inside her?

"Yes, but don't worry. I don't feel like I'm in danger," she reassured him, but Kai grabbed her hand.

"You should still go get checked," he said, clearly worried.

"Silly… I'll go by myself," Su Yiren said.

"But—"

"Shhh, I'm an Immortal Emperor, idiot," she teased, pressing her soft finger to his lips. Kai kissed her again, pulling her into an embrace.

"Hey hey hey!" a loud voice echoed hours later.

Su Yiren eventually left the house, flying away with a satisfied smile on her face.

Back inside, Kai sighed and sat down.

"Who's there?" he asked, sipping water.

"You really are a monster," a voice replied. A red-haired man emerged.

He stood at 6'1", with a solid, muscular build.

"Bloodt8, what are you doing here?" Kai asked, lounging on the couch.

Bloodt8 smiled and sat, gazing at his old friend.

"Missed you," he said.

"I'm not giving you my wine this time," Kai warned as Bloodt8 laughed.

"Stingy."

"I assume this isn't just a casual visit," Kai said.

"You're right," Bloodt8 leaned forward, his tone shifting.

"Mu Chen," he said with weight in his voice.

Kai's face darkened, and he sat up. Murderous intent gleamed in his eyes.

"I still can't believe they were brothers," Bloodt8 thought to himself.

"Where is he?" Kai asked.

"He's returned, Kai. And he's looking for you," Bloodt8 said.

"Good. Tell him where I am. If he dares come, I'll kill him," Kai said coldly.

"Still the same—so direct," Bloodt8 said with a slight grin.

"Here?" Kai asked, already knowing the answer.

"Yes... He's here," Bloodt8 confirmed.

Kai stood.

"Good. You will leave with a corpse," he said before vanishing.

Bloodt8 shook his head, turning to face the direction where two beings met in the deeper layer of space.

In the second layer of space, Kai faced the figure ahead.

Not quite a creature—no, a human. Plain-faced.

"Kai," a deep, chilling voice said.

Kai clenched his fists.

Without a word, he struck first. The figure dodged. His face became clear—it was Mu Chen, fully grown.

The space where Kai's fist had landed folded inward. A black hole flickered into existence before vanishing instantly.

"Aren't you happy to see me? That I'm alive?" Mu Chen asked.

Kai didn't respond. He kept attacking—Mu Chen kept dodging.

Finally, Mu Chen caught Kai's punch.

Kai exhaled.

"It's time for you to die," he muttered as a terrifying aura descended.

Mu Chen backed away as Kai's presence intensified.

The battle had begun for real.

Mu Chen grinned. The two clashed with power that could rupture the heavens.

Back at the house, Bloodt8 sighed.

"One of them will die today," he murmured. Brothers… now enemies.

Inside the Medicine Emperor's abode, the air was thick with the scent of herbs, and his disciples bustled about, preparing pills of various kinds.

In a luxurious pavilion sat the Medicine Emperor, an old man with a long beard, alongside a young woman.

"Miss Su… good news," the Medicine Emperor said cheerfully, stroking his beard.

"Ha… what is it, Medicine Emperor?" Su Yiren asked, slightly anxious.

Although he had called it good news, her heart was unsettled. What kind of good news? Was a precious treasure growing inside her? A powerful weapon? Or perhaps her physique was awakening?

"Ahh… it's a treasure all beings seek," the Medicine Emperor said, his words only heightening Su Yiren's anxiety as her mind raced with possibilities.

The Medicine Emperor chuckled softly when he felt the moment was right.

"You are pregnant, Miss Su," Medicine Emperor Chang announced.

Su Yiren froze.

Shock washed over her. She stared down at her stomach, stunned.

"A child… is growing in my belly?" she asked, disbelief in her voice.

"Yes, Miss Su. Congratulations," Medicine Emperor Chang said warmly, smiling as Su Yiren remained lost in thought.
