Chapter 1087 The Actress Is Fooled
Zhouzhou had to say a lot of sweet words before she finally managed to free her face from their grasp, her cheeks red from being pinched.
Qin Lie watched the scene, giving Qin Nan and Qin Bei a cold glance. Both of them quickly hid their hands behind their backs, retreating awkwardly.
Little Uncle is so petty. Zhouzhou haven't even gotten angry, why is he upset?
Zhouzhou rubbed her cheeks and quickly darted behind Qin Lie, pitifully complaining to him. As expected, Qin Lie's "eye daggers" became even more intense. Qin Nan and Qin Bei began to suspect that they might soon be thrown into a sack and beaten, trembling in fear.
Zhouzhou, feeling smug, stuck her tongue out and made a face at them, which only made them want to pinch her again.
Qin Ren, watching the whole scene, couldn't help but smile slightly. He patted Zhouzhou's head, signaling her to behave.
At that moment, Qin Nan and Qin Bei thought that Qin Ren was supporting them, but the next second, they heard him say, "What's so proud about bullying a fool?"
Both of them: "……"
He really knows how to hit them where it hurts!
Their Big Brother was indeed skilled at delivering the psychological blows!
Seeing the color drain from their faces, Zhouzhou couldn't hold back her giggle and quickly pulled them in, "Fifth brother, Sixth brother, let's go play together!"
Qin Nan and Qin Bei no longer wanted to play with her.
But they couldn't resist Zhouzhou's cunning; she coaxed them by giving them a couple of bird eggs, and just like that, they forgot all about their earlier frustration and started playing along.

Grandma Qin watched the scene with a helpless shake of her head, her tone full of disdain. "As expected, fools. Still, fools who never learn their lesson."
Zhouzhou was also sneakily mischievous. After bullying them, she always knew how to coax them back, never letting her brothers really stay mad at her.
Qin Lie nodded in agreement. That cheeky attitude was clearly something she had learned from Ye Lingfeng. He certainly didn't act like that.
The place they had chosen for today's outing was a mountain, with a stream flowing through the valley, providing a cool atmosphere.
Over the years, Zhouzhou had either been studying at home or off on missions, never having a long break. Despite her mature outlook, she was still a child at heart. As soon as she had the chance, she let loose and played, hopping around on the trees like a monkey.
At first, Qin Lie could keep up with her, but within minutes, Zhouzhou disappeared from sight. He gave up and decided to leisurely stroll around.
The other "little warriors" were similarly unbothered, thinking that Zhouzhou was so capable that nothing could go wrong.
Only Qin Bei, like a fool, kept chasing after her, "Wait for me!"
"Huh? Where did she go?"
Qin Bei, too slow to climb trees, ran on the ground, but soon realized he had lost track of her. Stopping in place, he looked around, puzzled. "How could this happen?"
He stood there for a moment before speaking again, "Did you use an Invisibility Talisman? This is cheating!" He crossed his arms, irritated, but there was still no response.
Instead, a cold breeze blew past him.
Qin Bei looked around and realized that in chasing Zhouzhou, he had wandered far away from the group. There wasn't a single person in sight. His heart skipped a beat as panic began to rise within him. "Zhouzhou? Where are you?"
No answer.
Panic surged through him. What if Zhouzhou had run off too far?
Without a second thought, he spun around and began to retrace his steps. But no matter how far he walked, his legs felt heavy, and he couldn't find anyone. Moreover, it felt as though a mist was beginning to form in front of him.
His legs started trembling uncontrollably.
Just as he was about to shout, a drop of liquid suddenly splashed onto his neck. He absentmindedly reached up to touch it, but when his fingers made contact, he froze. His eyes widened.
It was red—red?
Blood!!!!!
Qin Bei immediately held his breath, his eyes bulging, as his heart raced in his chest.
Then, a hand slapped his back.
Qin Bei froze, not daring to turn around.
In the desolate wilderness, with blood falling from the sky, the more he thought about it, the paler his face became. His legs felt like they were filled with lead, making it impossible to move.
At that moment, a crisp voice rang in his ear. "Sixth brother, you're not going to faint from fear, are you?"
It was Zhouzhou!
Qin Bei immediately whipped around and was met with Zhouzhou's cheeky little face. Looking down, he saw she was holding a fruit, and the red juice dripping from it had splattered onto him.
He opened his mouth, his voice trembling. "You scared me to death! I thought... I thought..."
He had thought he encountered a ghost. His body collapsed to the ground, sobbing uncontrollably.
Zhouzhou, momentarily stunned, blinked in confusion. "No, Sixth brother, I was just playing a prank on you. With me here, how could there be any ghosts?"
"You're way too scared!" she added, trying to tease him.
Hearing this, Qin Bei's head snapped up. "You're still scolding me!"
He cried even louder, pounding his legs in frustration. "Why is my life so hard?"
Zhouzhou: "……"
Why is he stealing my lines?
Seeing him crying so miserably, Zhouzhou felt a twinge of guilt. She scratched her head and quickly comforted him. "Alright, Sixth brother, I'm sorry. I won't scare you like that again."
But Qin Bei ignored her, continuing to sob.
Zhouzhou, seeing that his tears weren't stopping, thought for a moment and reached into her bag, pulling out a talisman, which she handed to him. "Here, Sixth brother, take this. It'll keep the ghosts away."
Qin Bei continued crying.
Zhouzhou then took out another talisman. "This one's a Break Formation Talisman. With this, you can get past any simple array in the future."
She had set up an array earlier, which was why he couldn't find his way out.
Qin Bei's head hung low as he kept crying.
Zhouzhou rolled her eyes and shoved all the talismans into his hands. "Here, take them all! Sixth brother, good Sixth brother, if you stop crying, I'll do whatever you say, okay?"
Qin Bei's face lit up at her words. "Deal?"
Zhouzhou: "……"
She had spent all this time setting him up, and now he was turning the tables on her!
She, Qin Fugui, had actually lost to her own acting skills!
Zhouzhou puffed out her cheeks, looking furious.
Qin Bei, seeing that he had finally gained the upper hand, squeezed her cheek and casually stuffed all the talismans into his pocket.
"Little thing, still trying to fight with me? Have you forgotten that I'm a professional actor now?"
"Yes, I forgot." These words were practically squeezed out from between Zhouzhou's clenched teeth.
This was the first time Qin Bei had ever gotten the better of her, and it made him even more arrogant. With his hands on his hips, he started laughing loudly.
But as he was halfway through his laughter, a tall figure suddenly appeared in his line of sight. His laugh came to a sudden halt, and he choked on his own saliva, coughing violently.
Only then did he realize that Qin Lie and the others had no idea when they had arrived.
He had no idea how long they had been watching.
Qin Nan, looking at him, silently put on a mask.
Even though they were all family, he still felt embarrassed.
Qin Ren adjusted his glasses and glanced at his phone with an emotionless expression. "I recorded everything."
His words cut through the air like a knife.
Qin Bei's face froze.
Zhouzhou's eyes lit up, and she immediately rushed to Qin Ren's side. "Big Brother, you're so awesome!"
"When Sixth brother becomes famous one day, I'll sell this video to his competitors!"
Hmph, this is for bullying me!
Qin Bei's lips twitched, and he rushed to grab the phone, but just as he was about to do so, Zhouzhou suddenly paused and said, "Wait!"
What do you think?
