Chapter 130: Chapter 130: Si Jing: Brother Li, there’s no need to hit me where it hurts even if you find me annoying!

The air grew still with a hush of silence, leaving Sang Qiao at a loss for words for a moment.

She couldn’t very well say that she had spent the entire previous night thinking about the two of them together.

Si Jing hesitated for a moment and then wanted to smack himself several times. Sang Qiao had come over late at night, and Brother Li even specifically asked him to leave. Now both of them had identical dark circles under their eyes; what happened last night was quite obvious!

Sang Qiao placed the spoon and the bowl filled with porridge on the small table, and the man began to eat bite by bite.

The room was silent as they ate their breakfast.

Hearing this, Sang Qiao couldn’t help but smile, “Yes, is there anything specific you would like to eat? I’ll bring you dinner.”

“Anything is fine.”

“Alright then, I’m off.” Sang Qiao let out a light chuckle and started to walk away.

“Yeah.” Si Chenli watched her back as she left.

Si Jing didn’t understand what he was seeing, “Brother, if you can’t bear to let sister-in-law leave, you should hold her back. You’re a patient now, a few words from you and she’s sure to feel sorry for you.”

“It’s alright. She has her own things to do,” Si Chenli said with a faint smile on his lips.

Being together was about giving him a legitimate status to love and pamper her, not about becoming her burden or putting her in a difficult position.

“Yeah, right,” Si Jing had nothing to reply, as he just didn’t understand his brother’s thinking.

Clutching the medical report in his hands, Si Jing felt frustrated, he was handsome and suave, with remarkable qualities – how could he have this kind of problem, damn it!
