Upon hearing Lin Zhen’s name, Black and White Impermanence lost composure. They yelled, “Lin Zhen, you have quite some nerve! The Empress herself declared that you’re the enemy of the Endless Star Sea species, yet you dare show up here!”

“It seems that none of you like me, but that’s alright, as I’m not here to please you—I’m here for your souls!”

Lin Zhen stopped firing the Kirin Gun, and with that, he unleashed the Heart Sword!

Vroom~!

An invisible net of swords flew out, slicing Bai Bing and the Black and White Impermanence, the Three Flowers Realm figures, into tiny bits!

Looking down, Lin Zhen found the little fox staring at him without blinking.

“Hehe! What did you hear, little guy? Now you know my name is Lin Zhen, but I guess you don’t understand what it means. That’s alright, as you grow older, you will gradually come to understand.”

As Lin Zhen gently stroked the little fox’s head, he found that its fur was incredibly silky.

Curiously, he lifted the little fox out of his arms, examining it and asked, “Are you male or female?”

The little fox whimpered a little and its large tail mysteriously covered its lower body.

“Huh! Can you understand what I’m saying? Seems like you’re not an ordinary breed.”

As Lin Zhen spoke, he looked at the little fox’s large tail covering its lower body and suddenly broke into a strange grin, “So, you know how to cover yourself. It’s a mystery whether you’re male or female. I guess I’ll just have to check.”

As he said that, Lin Zhen reached to lift its large tail.

The little fox struggled desperate‌ly, emitting soft whines. In its desperation, it bit Lin Zhen’s finger.

But its teeth were so small they couldn’t puncture Lin Zhen’s skin. Not even an ordinary human would be affected let alone Lin Zhen who possessed a strong body.

Laughing heartily, Lin Zhen stroked the little fox’s head, “It seems that luck is on my side. You’re not an ordinary fox; what breed you are remains a mystery, but we’ll find out when you grow up.”

As Lin Zhen tried to put the little fox back into his inner world, the fox’s little arms quickly clung onto Lin Zhen’s hand, visibly indicating it didn’t want to enter the inner world.

“That’s fine too. If you enter the inner world, you probably wouldn’t survive alone anyway. You can stick with me for now.”

Once again, he placed the little fox within his shirt and looked up towards the distance.

In the dark and gloomy space, there was an endless expanse of ruins.
