Donnie reassured with a smile: “Jack, rest assured, do you still not understand what kind of person Reggie Vanderbilt is? If he had such scheming, he wouldn’t be here now.”

After thinking it over, Jack Morgan agreed with Donnie’s point and laughed: “Indeed, nothing appeals to Reggie Vanderbilt more than playing a couple of games after downing a glass of whiskey!”

Donnie: “As for the other members of the Vanderbilt Family, I’ve already sent people to contact them. I believe they’ll be willing to sell their shares in New York Central Railroad Company at a reasonable price.”

Jack Morgan sighed: “Hearing you talk about it so easily, I’m starting to doubt if there was any value in what we Morgans did before!”

Donnie smirked: “Of course, it had value. If Morgan and Rockefeller hadn’t already infiltrated the management of New York Central Railroad Company, causing the Vanderbilt Family to lose most of their control over the company, they wouldn’t be giving up the company so readily!”

The most important thing for Donnie right now was secrecy and speed.
