541. Parallel Universe Diplomatic Plan.

541. Parallel Universe Diplomatic Plan.

After placing some supplies in the storage room of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters from the magical space, Alex crossed his arms and looked at Raven beside him.

"Don't say anything, don't ask anything. If Logan gets curious, let him ask Emma. These supplies are enough for the kids to get through the winter. Don't let Logan cause trouble for Luthor again; the pressure on him is already heavy."

"Got it," Raven nodded slightly.

Although she was curious about where Alex had gotten all these rations, she also understood that some things were better left unsaid.

Raven was very clever, with a mental age that was completely different from her outward appearance. Though Alex hadn't explicitly stated it, she could sense from the unfamiliar aura of these supplies that they definitely weren't from the wasteland.

"Well, we'll head back now. I'll come by more when I have time. If you need anything, just talk to Emma. She can contact me or get others to help," Alex smiled.

"Aren't you going to rest here for a while?" Seeing that Alex was about to leave, Raven couldn't help but ask.

"No, I have something important to discuss with Luthor."

Winter is coming, and with the cold front approaching, the League doesn't have much time left.

Alex needed to quickly deliver the supplies and food to Luthor, as Luthor still needed time to distribute these things properly to the people in various regions. This would take a lot of time.

Transportation was also a major issue. While the roads were still passable, they had to act quickly. Otherwise, once the heavy snow blocked the roads, these supplies would be stuck.

On the way back, Alex didn't drive the car again. Instead, he drew a portal directly to Luthor's office and walked in with Kara, Pietro, and the others.

Luthor, who was on the other side of the portal, was initially surprised but quickly relaxed upon seeing Alex's face.

"Has Logan been giving you trouble? I imagine he left a strong impression on you."

"Indeed, it was quite an impression. But you don't have to worry. For the time being, he won't be coming to cause trouble for you at the League," Alex smiled.

Looking around the large office and noticing that only Luthor was present, Alex became curious. "Where's Lady Shiva?"

"Oh, I sent her off to handle something. Batman sent word that a lifeboat passed through the Watchtower and crash-landed on Earth. I suspect it could be an alien spy, so I had her investigate," Luthor explained with a rare smile. "She's quite capable. If it weren't for her help, I wouldn't have lasted this long."

"Shouldn't the Watchtower be responsible for Earth's first line of defense? How could they let an alien slip through so easily?" Alex frowned.

"There's not much we can do. The Watchtower was built in a rush, so there are many technical flaws. Moreover, Batman and Martian Manhunter are on special missions on the moon, which gave the invaders an opportunity," Luthor shrugged.

"Something happened on the moon?" Alex casually asked.

"Do you know about Attilan?" Luthor didn't directly explain but instead asked first.

"Attilan, the Inhuman city... Wait, do you mean there are survivors from the Inhumans!?" Alex was surprised, because according to the wasteland's timeline, all the superheroes should have been long dead.

"We're not sure either. The Inhumans shouldn't be here, but recently Batman picked up a strange signal on the moon and decided to investigate with a team."

"That happened recently, so why didn't you tell me earlier?" Alex asked, his brow furrowing. It had only been half a day since he left the wasteland.

"Do you think Batman is the type to cause trouble for others after solving things himself?" Luthor sighed. "We each have our responsibilities. If it weren't for the lifeboat arriving on Earth, I wouldn't have known about what's going on in space."

"Alright," Alex nodded, understanding the situation. He then asked, "Did he mention anything about the moon? Do they need any help?"

Luthor thought for a moment, organizing the information in his mind before answering.

"I don't know much. What I do know is that there's a secret city on the moon that nobody knows about, filled with refugees from various planets, and even some surviving Earthlings.

Batman hasn't shared many details, but he's trying to gather information about the city.

I've heard that it's a place full of mixed individuals, even with traces of Hydra. But perhaps due to being cut off from Earth for so long, they've become self-contained and independent."

Alex realized that his knowledge of the wasteland universe was still lacking.

Alex never expected that such a hidden corner would exist on the moon, so close to Earth. However, if this city was the Attilan of that time, it wasn't impossible.

The battle from back then was so grand and strange that even now, various remnants of the post-war era still remain in the wasteland, and many of the details of that war have become unknown secrets.

This lost kingdom on the moon was clearly one of the crucial historical remnants.

It looks like once I return to the House of Mystery, I'll have to review the events of that battle again. At the very least, I need to figure out who is behind this mysterious city that suddenly appeared in the moon's blue zone.

"Any leads on the lifeboat?" Alex pondered for a moment and asked again.

"Not certain yet, we can only roughly determine the landing position, but we'll need to search slowly. There's nothing we can do; there's so much to rebuild in the wasteland, just the radars and satellite signal towers are enough to keep me busy," Luthor muttered in frustration.

"Speaking of which, I happen to have some supplies that should be enough to help some people in the wasteland get through the winter." Hearing Luthor speak, Alex quickly said, placing the files from Bruce Wayne in front of Luthor with a smirk. "This is the total amount; I've only brought part of it over. More supplies are being prepared, and we just need to send people to retrieve them."

Seeing Alex's actions, Luthor was initially stunned, then a bit disbelieving.@@novelbin@@

No one understood the scale of the wasteland's gaping hole better than him. Filling this hole would certainly require more than just a few dozen trucks of supplies.

Quickly picking up the supply list, Luthor put on his glasses and began carefully examining each item, checking every category and quantity.

Seeing him so focused, Alex didn't disturb him, standing quietly, and the three people behind him did the same, waiting for Luthor to finish.

The atmosphere in the office immediately grew quiet, with only the sound of pages turning.

As Luthor read through the list of supplies, his disbelief gradually turned into shock, and by the end, he thought the list seemed almost fantastical.

He couldn't imagine where Alex had gotten so many supplies. Though most were of poor quality, they were exactly what the wasteland needed at the moment.

When Luthor reached the last page and saw Bruce Wayne's signature, he froze.

But Luthor quickly realized that this Bruce Wayne was clearly not the one he knew, the Batman on the moon. That could only mean one possibility.

"These supplies were taken from another universe?" Luthor asked, his tone firm despite the question.

"That's right. I visited a parallel universe, and I have some connections with their Batman. He was very willing to help us get through this difficult time," Alex didn't hide this from Luthor.

Now that Luthor was the highest-ranking official in the Earth Federation, he was at the center of power, so Alex had no reason to keep anything from him.

"That's great. I was wondering who in the world had such power. If it's Bruce Wayne, that would explain things. But didn't you try to find the 'me' from that universe?" Luthor asked, curious.

"Find you?" Alex chuckled and shook his head. "Let's not even discuss whether that universe has your counterpart. Even if they do, do you think there's any chance they'd help me?"

"Ha, true," Luthor couldn't help but laugh, a little helplessly.

The person who understands him best in this world was probably his other self, and Luthor knew well enough about his own character. If the version of him in a parallel universe knew about the multiverse, there was a high chance he would have malicious intentions.

"That universe, is it mine?" At this moment, Kara joined the conversation, looking at Alex with curiosity.

Kara had spoken to Pietro several times before and knew that the first time Pietro followed Alex through the multiverse, they arrived at her universe. Excluding the possibility that Alex had visited other worlds before meeting Pietro, the universe with Bruce Wayne must be hers.

"Yes, it's the Flashpoint Universe. After all, it's a universe that's experienced a great catastrophe. I'm not sure about the exact situation in that world, so for safety, I didn't bring you along," Alex acknowledged.

"But don't worry, that universe is very safe now. There are more superheroes there, and they've even formed a Justice Society. I believe that no matter what difficulties they face, they can overcome them."

Hearing Alex say this, Kara and Pietro felt a bit more reassured. Though Kara didn't have a great impression of the Earth in that universe, it was still the place where she was born, and she did feel some attachment to it.

"What's the Flashpoint Universe?" Ashley, who was standing behind Pietro, whispered.

"I'll tell you more about it when we get back. That universe is pretty interesting," Pietro tilted his head and quietly replied.

Ignoring the whispering exchange between Pietro and Ashley, Alex turned to Luthor, his voice serious.

"I plan to establish a closer connection between the wasteland and that universe, ideally through trade. After all, what the wasteland needs most right now are these everyday supplies."

"But this must be kept confidential. We can't let too many people know, not even Lady Shiva. I don't want something good to turn bad in the end."

"Indeed, establishing diplomatic relations between two parallel universes carries too many unknowns, especially trust issues. That's crucial," Luthor nodded seriously. "So how do you plan to proceed?"

"Slowly. We'll start with supplies."

Alex had already made plans for this.

"I'll have Kara and Pietro visit the Flashpoint Universe to establish fixed coordinates with synchronized time flow, so that the two universes' time rates are aligned."

"The next step is to bring back the remaining supplies."
