.....

A pilgrimage of 1000+ students in a variety of clothing could be seen traveling in a single file through a dense forest of glass-like trees and metallic vines. Some wore tracksuits, others wore energy suits and some wore armor. They were all traveling on beasts.

At the head of this entourage was a huge golden tortoise that moved with grace and elegance. Its towering frame was like a beacon in the shining sun reflecting off its scales. On its shell was a group of six; Ethan with Tia clinging to his cheek and Angitia coiled around his neck, Harley, Clara, Andriel, Lisa, and Kira. Up above them was Jerry and a cute, Loli with braided blonde hair that fell to her waist. Her name was Celestine, a vampire. She was also the reason for Jerry's new hairstyle, which was also done in a braid and falling to his waist. They sat atop a huge silver wyvern, Zephyrlis, which soared through the sky. Beside Jerry's transport was a huge dark green drake that carried a pale-faced Trevor who sat in between an annoyed and possessive Emily and a determined Sixtie.

'What did I do to deserve this?'

'Live life bro.'

'What the fuck are you doing in my head?!'

'...'

On Ethan's left trotted a red fox with two tails and a flaming mane. Atop it sat Reginald, Timothy, and Derrick. On his right was a black mountain goat with long dark silver horns and a metallic tail. On it sat Zara and Grielle. Behind them trailed the rest of the second years on spirit beasts, whether their or shared ones.

Their destination?

The Oak Grove.

...

Small, 4-foot-tall creatures with dark green skin, long ears, and rugged teeth patrolled through an area filled with tall oaks.

These oaks were almost as tall as skyscrapers with yellowish-brown barks and green, energy-like leaves. The creatures could be seen walking on these trees, their complexion almost blending with the color of the leaves.

The place was serene except for the faint chattering of these creatures as they conversed.

ROAR!!!

A loud, earthshaking roar broke the sereness of the grove, causing all creatures including the green creatures to shiver in fear.

Flying above the oaks was a huge wyvern whose silver scales cast a huge shadow over the trees, almost dimming their green glowing leaves.

"Ethan. Are you sure another one is here?" Trevor asked Ethan from on top of his ride. He didn't shout but his voice still reached Ethan's ears. Ethan had told him about how their true abilities were still been sealed. Trevor also didn't like the sound of that, so the system had to release the seal on him too.

As for why they were here?

...

Earlier. After Ethan lit up the sky...

He lay down to rest a bit but inwardly, he was conversing with the system.

'Yo system. Is this Glicos' Orb one of the hidden items in this outing?'

*I don't know but it's probably one of them. I can sense the same energy signature of the orb around. *

'Hmm... so they are scattered around or something?'

*Apparently. *

'How farther away are they?'

*Based on my calculations, they are all miles apart from us. The closest one is 15 kilometers from here. I can sense three energy signals from there. *

'Can I get a visual of it?'

*I can make a map specifically for the hidden items' energy signatures. *

'That will be very helpful. Thank you.'

*Feel free to praise me more. *

'...'

...

This brings us to the present where they are moving towards Oak Grove which happens to be the closest area with the hidden items.

"Yes. I already have one with me, so I can sense the unique energy signature coming from them. We are close." Ethan replied as his eyes glowed a light blue.

"Got you."

Ethan then stood up atop Galeno and flew up into the sky. He then turned towards his entourage.@@novelbin@@

"Okay guys, listen up!" He amplified him so that it reached everyone.

"We are here, the Oak Grove. I've been able to sense three hidden items here but they are scattered around. I can't pinpoint the actual position they are in but I can give directions.

We are going to split into 5 groups. Three will search for the items while the other two will complete two objectives; acquiring a lot of kills and looking for supplies.

I can sense a lot of strong beasts around, so be very careful."

After saying this, Ethan closed his eyes as a third opened on his forehead. It glowed with a silvery blue light as three psychic arrows materialized. They were each as long as a traffic light pole and as wide as a mattress.

Ethan canceled his use of the Psyche-Eye and addressed his classmates again.

"Trevor. You take your team, Lisa's team, and Emily's team and follow the middle arrow to secure the hidden item there.

Godfred. I will leave the left arrow in your capable hands. Take Reginald's team and Zara's team.

Timothy. I will leave the last arrow for you. Take Sixtie's team and Derrick's team along.

Derrick and Reginald, you too are in charge of finding supplies. Take some healers and utility experts with you.

The rest of you will follow me to earn more kills for our class. Does anyone have a problem with it?"

"NO!" The sound of a thousand people alongside roars of various beasts reverberated around, causing the green creatures hiding in the trees to shiver in fear.

Ethan smiled slightly as he slowly landed back on Galeno's shell.

...

Krik-a-krik darted through the trees, his expression fearful and his face pale with fear. His long limbs stretched to grab branches as swung from branch to branch. His long and sharp ears twitched nonstop.

The little sunlight that pushed through the canopy of leaves glinted softly on his bald, shiny, green head, oblivious to the dread the little goblin felt.

Very soon, Krik-a-krik pushed through a huge cluster of leaves and branches, reaching his destination.

In front of him was a small village of goblins, with their houses on the trees. The houses were made of branches and leaves with a very huge one taking up one whole oak tree.

"Krek! Krrr krttii krek! (Intruders are approaching!)" Krik-a-krik shouted, his almost hoarse voice echoing all around, causing all the goblins to panic.

"Kerek kuku krik?(what's going on here?)" A deep voice sounded from the huge tree house, causing all the goblins to kneel in reverence.

"Kkri keke krek krek! Krei kik Gobji(intruders are attacking! Great chief Gobji)" Krik-a-krik hurriedly replied as he heard the voice.

"Krek kyrr?(are you sure of what you are saying?)" Chief Gobji asked in a threatening tone.

"Kiki kree krek!(I swear on my life!)" Krik-a-krik answered.

Silence...

It didn't last long though. The wooden door that framed the chief's house opened slowly as a 6-foot-tall goblin with dark green skin and huge tusks stepped out. He wore clothes made from leaves and held a thin club with spikes on it. A necklace of animal teeth adorned his neck. A large scar ran across his left eye which had a different color to the right. The left was a darker shade of red while the right was a soft green color.

"Kriik. Kre kreek krek!(Prepare. We are going to war.)" Chief Gobji announced.

He then turned and entered his house.

...

In the house, Chief Gobji walked with reverence towards a tall, 5-foot statue situated at the center of his house. It was made of bronze, with huge horns like antlers, and in a long flowing robe.

Chief Gobji sprawled down at the foot of the statue, his earlier cold and confident demeanor switched to that of reverence.

In his mind, he prayed, "O great ancestor! Heed my call and answered me. Help me achieve victory in this war. Save your people through me. Save the people of the Tree Goblin Clan."

But today, his prayer wouldn't be answered. Even his god would be taken.

...

With efficient and quick arrangements, the second years of AMA got into their groups and headed out. Trevor and his team took the skies, Godfred led his team on his gorilla towards the left and Timothy to the right. The rest either followed Ethan or Reginald and Derrick into the welcoming darkness of Oak Grove.

For the first time, the three goblin clans of Oak Grove would lose very important things to them. Life, family, property, and most importantly, their gods.

...

The silvery blue psychic arrows glowed brightly in the dark grove of Oak Trees, illuminating the path for the various teams who had the objective of securing the hidden items that weren't so hidden.

The last warning of Ethan played in their heads like a broken record, "Be very careful. The items can be anything. Be vigilant and support each other."
