Apocalypse Baby

Chapter 147 Attack on Titan

[Fury Gauntlet]

"It's been a while," Alex muttered, flexing his fingers before slamming his fists together.

CRACK!

A metallic ring echoed as the spiked gauntlets clashed, sending tiny sparks flying.

He hadn't used this accessory since his battle with the Cockatrice King. Back then, it had helped him shatter a beast twice his size.

The Fury Gauntlet wasn't just for show.

It boosted his strength and defense boosted by 10%.

And it had a special effect:

He could dish out a punch that landed with three times its usual force and the cooldown for it was 10 minutes.

Alex grinned.

Without hesitation, he charged forward, the ground beneath his feet cracking slightly as he launched himself at the nearest skeleton.

Freya caught sight of him moving and didn't hesitate. She followed suit, gripping her blade tightly, her sharp gaze locked on the incoming wave of undead.

Behind them, Ella raised her staff, her lips moving rapidly as she whispered an incantation.

A magic circle appeared on the ground beneath her feet, glowing with an eerie green light.

From within, vines sprouted—thick, writhing, and lined with razor-sharp thorns.

With a single flick of her hand, the vines lunged forward, twisting and coiling toward the skeletons like hungry serpents.

Ezekiel stood behind them, watching as they all rushed into battle.

His hands clenched into fists.

He gritted his teeth.

He watched as Dorion and Onigi clashed ahead, their weapons slicing through the air at blinding speeds.

CLANG!

CLANG!

Every strike sent sparks flying, leaving deep gouges in the walls and floor.

Any undead foolish enough to step between them were reduced to scraps—severed limbs and shattered skulls littering the battlefield.

It was intense.

He had always known Dorion was powerful, but not like this.

And the grin on Dorion's face?

That was pure madness. The guy was enjoying it.

Then there was the other maniac.

The one who had dragged them all into this chaos.

The one causing this massive ruckus.

Alex.

Done with blowing things up, he had switched to raw, unfiltered violence.

He plowed through the undead like they were made of paper, each punch turning skeletons into airborne piles of bones.

One unlucky skeleton tried to lunge at him—big mistake.

Alex caught it mid-attack, slammed it to the ground with a sickening crunch, then yanked it back up by the leg.

And then...

He began to spin.

Faster and Faster.

Bones clattered, undead screeched, and Alex just cackled like a madman, whirling the skeleton around like a living wrecking ball.

As Alex swung the undead around like a club, bones shattered on impact, taking down the swarm that surrounded him.

Then, with a grunt, he hurled the battered skeleton straight into the wall.

BOOM!

It exploded into pieces, ribs and skull fragments scattering across the battlefield.

Danger.

His instincts flared.

Alex's head snapped up—undead archers had taken position above, bows drawn, arrows flying straight at him.

TCH.

His hand shot up.

A faint ripple in the air—Minor Telekinesis activated.

The arrows froze mid-air, trembling, their momentum stolen.

Alex smirked. "Not today."

With a flick of his wrist, the arrows spun around and shot back at their senders.

THUD! THUD!

The undead archers crumpled to the ground, permanently dead this time.

But Alex wasn't done.

He let out a battle cry, his voice echoing through the battlefield as he punched through another wave of skeletons, sending bones flying.

Then, in a blink—he vanished.

A second later—he reappeared elsewhere.

Another wave of undead collapsed as he tore through them at impossible speed.

Ezekiel clenched his jaw.

What the hell kind of monster is this?!

Alex was using multiple high-tier skills effortlessly like it was nothing.

And now, Freya was getting involved too.

Freya flicked her wrist—a flurry of blades shot through the air.

THUNK!

The daggers buried deep into the undead's foreheads, dropping them instantly.

Before the rest could react—she vanished.

Stealth.

The next moment, more skeletons crumpled to the ground, their skulls pierced by daggers that seemed to come from nowhere.

Then—she reappeared.

In a single, fluid motion, she drove both blades into an undead's skull.

CRACK.

She twisted the hilts. The skull fractured under the force, splitting apart.

But another undead raised its rusted sword—ready to swing.

Before it could—vines erupted from the ground.

SHRRK!

They snaked around the skeleton, tightening it like a vice, then tore it apart limb by limb.

More vines slithered across the battlefield, ripping through undead like living whips.

Ezekiel exhaled sharply.

Watching all this unfold, he couldn't shake the feeling that he was just standing there, useless.

He muttered under his breath, "Why'd I have to get dragged into this mess?"

He thought about leaving.

But then he remembered the undead's chilling words:

"Everyone with Alex will be eliminated."

If he ran, would they chase him? Would he even make it out?

Not worth the risk.

Ezekiel sighed again, then rolled his shoulders.

"Guess I should join in too."

Ezekiel rushed into the horde.

As soon as he reached them, he swung his heavy blade—SHING!—the steel carved through multiple skeletons, splitting them clean in half. Bones clattered to the ground.

But he wasn't done.

With a flick of his hand, he summoned a shield.

WHAM!

He swung it like a battering ram, smashing through more undead. Skulls snapped like brittle twigs as the impact sent skeletons flying.

Then something changed.

A few steps ahead, two… three skeletons began to merge.

Their bones twisted and fused, cracking as they melded into a single, hulking figure.

A towering abomination with a massive spiked mace in hand.

It turned its hollow gaze toward Ezekiel.

THUD.

It took a step forward.

Ezekiel sighed, shifting his stance. Seriously? Why did this happen right when he finally decided to join in?

The creature lunged.

BOOM!

The mace came crashing down!

Ezekiel gritted his teeth, raising his shield.

CLANG!

The impact rattled his entire arm, forcing him back a step. Dirt and dust kicked up around him.

Meanwhile...

Alex was in his own world of destruction.

His fists crushed skeletons like paper, sending bone fragments flying in every direction. He moved like a whirlwind, every punch tearing through wave after wave of undead.

Then, mid-punch, he saw something.

A stronger undead.

It was huge, powerful-and was fighting Ezekiel.

Alex grinned. That was his kind of fight.

But before he could charge in—

More skeletons started merging.

One... Two... Twenty...

A hundred.

Alex's grin widened.

Now this was going to be fun.

The undead continued to merge and grow, stacking bones upon bones—until it reached titan level.

A colossal undead now stood before them, its skull brushing the ceiling, shoulders as broad as fortress walls. In its massive, decayed hands, it gripped a sword the size of a building.

Alex licked his lips, eyes gleaming with excitement.

Now we're talking.

The Titan roared, its hollow bellow shaking the maze itself. Then, with a slow yet terrifying rise of its sword, it lifted the massive blade overhead.

And then...

SWOOSH—BOOM!

The sword came crashing down! Stay updated through My Virtual Library Empire

The sheer force of the attack split the ground apart, carving a massive trench that tore through multiple maze walls. Debris exploded into the air, dust clouds swallowing the battlefield.

But…

Did the attack land?

Nah.

A voice rang out above.

"Hey, you missed."@@novelbin@@

Through the swirling dust, Alex hovered midair, a cocky smirk on his face.

He had dodged at the last second, using sheer agility to leap high into the sky.

Now, it was his turn.

Alex drew back his fist.

His breath steadied.

Then he activated the [Fury Gauntlet]'s special triple effect.

Power surged through his arm. The gauntlet glowed red-hot, its metal groaning under the sheer force building up inside. Energy shot out, trembling with energy.

His muscles tensed.

And then he swung forward, his fist rocketing toward the Titan's skull like a meteor crashing to earth.

The air shook. The force rippled outward.

And then...
