Scarbi City was built in mid-air to prevent the Heima attacks. A few hundred crystal pillars supported them.

This concerned architecture knowledge. In this world without technology, it was hard to create such a city.

So many years passed, and Scarbi City didn’t expand. However, the population was increasing.

This was already a big problem. When they built the city, the designer gave a number. If the population exceeded that number, they had to remove some structures to ensure the pillars could support them.

In recent years, as Scarbi City developed, more and more people felt that they should expand the city. However, each increase in land was a giant project that required huge spending. So, the committee didn’t set their hearts to it.

As the city area hadn’t changed in a long time, the streets and buildings didn’t either, so most of the people were familiar with the city even with their eyes closed.

When the committee head reminded them, and they looked at the map, they realised it was indeed the case. Ye Zhongming had to avoid the crowds, so he took small paths. This made him take a longer path, but his final goal was clear. It was the closest point where he could reach the city's edge.
