Chapter 214: Emergency Meeting, Discussing Strategies, Task Distribution!
“What? Just acupoints?”
The producer’s voice involuntarily grew louder upon hearing Wang Yun’s explanation.
It turned out Wang Yun hadn’t really injured Captain Dragon Hand. He had simply pressed specific acupoints, causing the captain to experience the illusion of severe injuries.
“You’re amazing, really impressive.”
The producer didn’t know what else to say, so he quickly complimented Wang Yun and then made a swift exit.

Meanwhile, the effects of the drug on Brother Hu dissipated, and he regained control of his limbs. Several excited voices sounded from outside the door.
“Boss!”
The first to walk in was Old Song, a chemistry teacher. He was particularly excited to see Wang Yun, carrying a backpack in his hand.
Two others followed him. They were also former subordinates of Wang Yun. One was wearing a safety helmet, clearly working on a construction site. The other was dressed in a sanitation worker’s uniform, obviously working as a street sweeper.
Seeing Wang Yun, the three men were incredibly excited.
“Boss! We finally found you!”
Old Song rushed forward to hug Wang Yun, but Wang Yun quickly put up his hands to stop him.
“I’m too dirty. You guys seem to be doing well.”
Wang Yun was in good spirits. After a dangerous escape and eliminating an entire team, he was reunited with several of his former subordinates.
The familiar feeling from before returned.
Old Song scratched his head, a bit embarrassed.
“Well? Not really. I just earned the neighbors’ trust by tutoring their kids in chemistry. These two did odd jobs and street sweeping, all with the hope of seeing you, Boss, and leaving here as soon as possible,” Old Song laughed as he said, and the two behind him nodded eagerly.
Wang Yun patted the three on the shoulders and looked at Mosquito and Little Gang.
“No time to waste, we must leave here immediately. You know, the program inspectors have issued a bounty in the city. Although these elderly people don’t use the internet, they will inevitably find out soon. To avoid implicating them, it’s best for everyone if we leave early. I have a place in mind, but it might be a bit rough for you.”
As Wang Yun said this, a hint of tension appeared in his eyes. He wasn’t sure if they would accept the place he had in mind.
But he could guarantee that once there, it would be hard for anyone to find them.
“As long as we can follow you, Boss, we’ll go anywhere and do anything,” Old Song quickly expressed his support, and the others nodded one by one.
Wang Yun immediately told everyone what they needed to gather, and they each went to fetch the items.
Of course, they only sought help from the elderly with whom they were staying, avoiding the streets.
Meanwhile, the people on the streets were in a state of panic.
“No way, did Wang Yun really escape?”
“I heard the program inspectors had him cornered in a building. They were about to catch him, but he turned the tables on them.”
“I saw it with my own eyes. The ambulance took the captain away, and people on the scene said that Hu Hanqing was faking It. He wasn’t paralyzed.”
“The purpose was to lure them in and catch Wang Yun in a trap.”
“Nonsense, Wang Yun isn’t that stupid. Why would he carry Hu Hanqing the whole time? Don’t believe everything you hear. The reason Wang Yun escaped was because the program inspectors found a passage on the fourth floor that leads to several neighboring neighborhoods.”
“Wang Yun disappeared through that passage. They failed again.”
As the crowd walked, they started to complain.
If Wu Yaoming and his team heard this, they would probably roll their eyes. They had such a good chance by the riverbank, but it was ruined by these people, leading to their failure.
And now they were blaming them.
In the program headquarters, all the program inspection teams and inspectors looked dejected.
Hardy’s face was filled with anger. He always thought these people had hindered him.
“India has been eliminated. Catching Wang Yun will be very difficult from now on. Wang Yun now has Hu Hanqing. In the coming days, his other subordinates will definitely try to find him. When they finally regroup, it’ll likely be the start of their counterattack,” Wu Mingyu said with a heavy heart.
Their greatest fear was Wang Yun having subordinates now.
This brought back their earlier fears.
Previously, they didn’t dare to act alone, which led to the current situation. Now they were all gathered together.
“Hmph, enough talk. Let’s plan our next move. So what if India has been eliminated? Don’t act so defeated and hopeless,” Hardy shouted unreservedly.
He had never faced Wang Yun directly, so he naturally didn’t feel convinced by Wu Mingyu and the others’ recent actions. Even though he knew Wang Yun had single-handedly defeated Captain Dragon Hand, he was still skeptical.
Perhaps Captain Dragon Hand was just weak.
Vasda nodded. “Captain Hardy has a point. Even if Wang Yun has regrouped with his subordinates, he still has to think twice before facing so many of us. I can provide a colorless and odorless powder to poison them.”
After Vasda spoke, Werner nodded in agreement.
“Great, we almost caught Wang Yun last time thanks to Professor Vasda. I can pinpoint Wang Yun’s location and find them as quickly as possible,” Werner smiled as he spoke.
Werner’s team had captured the most of Wang Yun’s subordinates.
Their team had a unique approach to location analysis, always finding details that even technology couldn’t detect. Because of this, Werner’s team had gained almost as much popularity as Dragon Nation within the program group.
No one disagreed with Werner’s words. Germany’s team had earned their respect.
“Alright! One will provide the poison powder, another will detect his location, and we, Russia, will bring the firepower,” Hardy quickly interjected, his gaze scornfully sweeping over everyone before finally stopping at China’s team.
“When we spot Wang Yun, our team will go in first, and you provide support from behind with long-range assistance.”
Hardy’s words were domineering, but no one opposed him.
The Sun Nation was very passive. Being a small country, their weaponry, combat strength, and reconnaissance capabilities were inferior to the other teams.
They were content to play the backup role, as long as Wang Yun was eventually caught.
“I will continue to deploy personnel with Sun Nation to search extensively within Xiyun City, especially in the old neighborhoods where Wang Yun disappeared,” Wu Yaoming said, undeterred by their recent failures.
In fact, he had become numb to setbacks. If he were to catch Wang Yun easily, it would feel unreal to him.
Wang Yue didn’t join the operation this time but was coordinating from the observation room.
After hearing everyone’s input, she suddenly realized something.
Why had Wang Yun chosen to confront Captain Dragon Hand directly when he had the chance to escape?
What do you think?
