Chapter 334. Convincing Verena. Verdantia’s Struggles.

Branthis saw Verena ignore him and walk outside, leaving him speechless. Their loving relationship was very strong, so this little banter was not really a problem. Still, one thing was understanding and loving, and another was getting wholly ignored! 'Tsk! This Liu Shu is getting too rampant! First, my daughter, and now she takes my wife's attention away!'

Meanwhile, Verena opened the vine door and walked toward a small gazebo nearby after Liu Shu called. The white-colored gazebo had gorgeous fences and stairs leading up to a platform. On this platform, there was a circular white table with a flowery design. Around it, six wooden chairs surrounded it, their color brown and their limbs made out of curly vines. Together, the chair and table gave a sense of comfort and peace. 

The finishing touch that made this gazebo quite special in Branthis's territory was that it had Liu Shu's roots coiling around it. The gorgeous and smooth roots carrying the gentle blue glow through their veins illuminated the gazebo with a gentle and pleasant light. Sitting here at night or during the day was always a pleasant experience. 

Once Verena stepped into the gazebo, several system messages popped into her eyes. They were the notifications that she was being affected by Liu Shu's many auras. The pleasant auras seeped into her body, and Verena's face gained a comfortable expression. She walked ahead and sat on one of the chairs. "What's wrong, Liu Shu? Do you need my help?"

Liu Shu said cheerfully. "Yes! I have finally discovered the Life Tree we needed! I want to check if you can come with the others to help me get the items."

Branthis's voice spread in the gazebo as well. "Why do you need our help? Aren't you so strong that you want to cover the entirety of the World? You should use that mighty strength to do so."

Verena's eyebrow twitched. She was about to make Branthis sleep alone and not let him coil around her at night as a punishment. 'Hmph. He is starting to be too much! Liu Shu is such a cute and talented child. How could he not be happy that our child has caught her eye? I can't really imagine another creature better than Liu Shu to be paired with Verdantia.' Verena's lips arched faintly. 'Moreover! I might be able to have a few grandchildren soon~! Hehe, it is quite lucky that my daughter was born with the extra appendage~. I hope Liu Shu likes it and gives me many grandchildren!' Remembering Branthis once more, she frowned. 'Ah. This can't do. I'll need to set my darling straight!'

Not knowing why, Branthis felt a strange chill spread around his roots. Baffled, he looked around the territory. 'What's wrong? An enemy?' The poor husband was unaware that his wife was about to make his life quite a bit harder. 

Meanwhile, Liu Shu understood Branthis's attitude, so she spoke softly and obediently. "Branthis… Um. While I can imagine why you are wary of me, I have no intentions of harming your family. Moreover, I can help you grow faster and stronger! You don't need to be on guard since the mansion area you control is just too little to matter to me."

Branthis froze slightly. 'T-This brat! Did she just say that my territory was not something that would even catch her eye!?'

Verena's calm face cracked as she had a hard time holding back bubbling laughter. 'Oh dear. Liu Shu is so cute.'

If Branthis had a face, he would've been glaring at Liu Shu. "Hey! What is the meaning of those words? Are you telling me that I am too weak!? Try to enter my domain, then!"

Liu Shu was confused. "Why are you so agitated? Branthis is so strong! After reaching level 50, I am no match. However, look at these auras." Liu Shu touched Branthis's roots and shared her auras with him for a brief second against his will.

Branthis was about to complain when the monstrous auras and presence of the World Tree shook his entire body. Regardless of his strength as a Third Energy Cycle being, Liu Shu's titles and presence were just too overwhelming. Any plant life that faced her presence head-on could only be enraptured unless the difference in strength was too massive.

Unaware that her presence was so extraordinary, Branthis didn't really have his guard up and bore the full brunt of it. His entire existence seemed to become infinitely small as Liu Shu's aura swelled, becoming as vast as the earth and the sky. Of course, this effect lasted for a second before dissipating, but the damage was already done.

"Hm?" Verena titled her head. She had expected Branthis to fly into a rage and shake off Liu Shu's auras and presence. However, he had fallen silent, confusing her. "Husband? Are you okay?"

Branthis snapped out of his daze after Verena spoke up. He didn't know how to answer since he was really not that okay. At one point during that small confrontation, Branthis almost gave way to Liu Shu in his domain! Thankfully, Liu Shu was not trying to be forceful, so he ultimately could resist the World Tree's natural coercion. 

After taking a few moments to recollect himself, Branthis answered with a calm tone. "Yes. I am fine. Don't worry."

Verena tilted her head, feeling that something was off. She thought that Branthis would tell her later, so she didn't mind much and didn't dig into it. Instead, she refocused on Liu Shu. "When are you going, Liu Shu? If you need my help, I will naturally help. Your temple is such a miraculous thing. If we have another one, it will only be an advantage."

Liu Shu giggled. "Great! These are the details…"

Liu Shu proceeded to explain everything, and then she asked them to talk to Lord Stormrider and other allied leaders if she could. Verena promised it before standing up and returning to the house from the gazebo. Once inside, she walked toward their main room where Branthis's core was and she threw herself onto it. The core of the plant being was like a large open floor surrounded by thick vines. The center was fluffy, so Verena could easily dive on top of it. "What happened, love? You suddenly became silent, so you have me worried."

Branthis hesitated, but when the curvy and soft body of his wife pressed against his core, a peaceful sense of relaxation overcame his body. He sighed gently and spoke up. "When Liu Shu shared her auras with me temporarily, I was overwhelmed."

Verena blinked and used her arms to hug the bed-like core below her. "Overwhelmed? What do you mean?"

Branthis sighed and admitted. "To be honest, if Liu Shu had tried to forcefully make me submit, I would've been unable to resist her. Her presence is like… How to explain it…" Branthis paused for a moment, and Verena didn't speak, giving little kisses to the core of her lover. "Ah. Right. It felt like she was my ancestor. As if Liu Shu was someone I should naturally respect."

Verena hummed and asked. "Isn't that the case with all World Trees when they reach beyond a certain point?" 

"No." Branthis shook his leaves in denial. "It's different. When I faced other World Trees in the past, there was such a feeling, but never as overbearing as today. If we were to compare, it would be like comparing the heights of a full-grown tree and a common sapling."

Verena blinked twice and hummed. "I see." She knew that this experience was enough to make Branthis's stubbornness disappear, so instead of the punishment that she had planned, Verena decided to relax her husband. Smiling seductively, she started to undress and whispered. "It seems that I will be slightly busy~. How about aiming for another sapling since our first one is ready to become a mature fruit and fall off the tree~?"

Branthis froze for a second before his leaves closed and surrounded Verena completely.

Meanwhile, Verdantia was walking into Liu Shu's <Core Room>. After that day, when their relationship had solidified, Cinderielle and the others made a schedule. They knew that if they wanted to advance the relationship between them, visiting all four at the same time was not the way. Hence, without much discussion, they decided to take turns weekly. 

This week, it was Verdantia's. Verdantia looked at the Petal Door before her and observed her Petal. It was at 76 percent, slightly more than in the past. However, there was not much progress. 

She shook her head and sighed, stepping inside the <Core Room>. Once inside, she looked around and quickly spotted the <Avatar> of the World Tree. She was walking around with a hum and a large smile. Her steps were firm, and her body gently swayed with her movements. Peculiarly, the Avatar continued to be naked. The reason? Well, they might love her a lot, but since they had a wife who naturally walked naked and would not fall to an illness for it, how could the Sylvans stop such a feast to the eyes? They didn't want to!

Verena felt heat spread around her body as the large and soft body of the Avatar jiggled with each step, looking like a seductive fairy trying to tempt the world with her beauty. The gorgeous fairy turned her head and looked toward Verdantia. Her face bloomed into a smile more beautiful than any flower. "Verdantia, you arrived!"

She then started jogging lightly toward Verdantia. Verdantia was stiff seeing such an alluring image, and the underwear below her skirt was beginning to feel too tight. 

Liu Shu innocently jogged over, but mid-way through, her sense of balance failed, and she tripped forward. "Ah-"

Expecting another faceplant, Liu Shu extended her arms forward. Thankfully, while the lover was mesmerized, she would never allow for her love to suffer. So, before she could fall, her face fell right into a pair of large and soft cushions. Looking up at the tall and curvy Sylvan, Liu Shu grinned sweetly. "Thank you, Verdantia."

'Too lethal!' Verdantia was holding back desperately from having a nosebleed. 'My Liu'er is just too adorable!'

"Liu'er…"

Verdantia's voice was dripping with love and care as she leaned down slightly. 

Accustomed to such gestures, Liu Shu surrounded Verdantia's neck with her arms. Then, Verdantia gently lifted her upward and lowered her face, kissing Liu Shu's little mouth. Liu Shu hugged Verdantia closely and relished in the unique sensations the kiss provided. 'Hehe~, they really like to kiss! Well, I also like it a lot, so I don't mind at all~.'

Verdantia almost felt like she was melting. 'Ah… So many years wishing to do this, and now I can do it as much as I want~. Liu Shu's mouth is really like honey, and I am a hopeless bee entrapped in its sweet flavor~.'

She pushed Liu Shu down gently and placed her under her body, her breath incredibly ragged. Liu Shu blinked twice, her moist and shining amethyst eyes looking pure and innocent. "Why did we go down? Is it more comfortable this way?"

Verdantia's heart was about to burst. Her lower body was already drenched and more than ready. However, looking at those incredibly pure eyes, her heat somewhat subsided, and she buried her face in her neck. "Don't worry. It is I being a bit silly. Just… Let me be like this for a little while."

Liu Shu giggled and hugged her closely. "Okay~! Verdantia's body is so nice to hug… But, Verdantia."

With a pleasant sigh, Verdantia asked. "Yes, Liu'er?"

Liu Shu asked innocently. "What's the thing poking against my lower belly? It feels so hot and hard!"

Verdantia's self-control almost crumbled while a wave of both embarrassment and lust filled her. 'Not yet. Not yet. She is too innocent for that! Wait a bit, Verdantia! Huuu, haaaaa. Huuuu haaaaa. ARGH! WHY IS MY WIFE SO CUTE! I WANT TO EAT HER!'

Liu Shu didn't know that her purity was hanging by a thread that was about to snap from her actions.
