Awakening:The Infinite Evolution of My Talent as a Low-Level Awakener

Chapter 683 A Playful Battle, Maternal Fusion!

The Star-Bone Sacred Body talent boosted him more than he had expected.

To think that it could even purify and absorb these gray energies—wasn't that a bit too overpowered?

Of course, while the Star-Bone Purification Factor was powerful, it still had its limits. Sterl could feel that if too much gray energy flooded in all at once, it still wouldn't be able to suppress it at full speed.

However, as long as the energy didn't reach a level that could instantly erase him, it would eventually become nourishment for him, gradually boosting his vitality in return!

After understanding the threat these gray energies posed, Sterl let out a loud shout and threw another Annihilation Fist—this time, it pierced straight through the massive shield formed by the mother creature!

The remaining power slammed directly into its chest, creating a shallow dent.

The impact sent the mother creature crashing into the ground, creating a massive crater.

However, just as this happened, two of the other twelve mother creatures released a large amount of pitch-black energy orbs and sent them into the body of the injured mother creature.

Soon, the shattered shield began to regenerate at a visible speed, and the shallow dent in its chest was quickly repaired.

"Interesting. So there's a healer, huh?"

Sterl raised an eyebrow. The way these monsters were teaming up was strangely reminiscent of the group compositions in Transcendence.

This particular mother creature seemed to be the tank, taking the damage. The two that were releasing the black energy orbs clearly played the role of healers. Two others specialized in soul attacks, making them ranged mages. Meanwhile, the few with the largest and strongest bodies were the front-line warriors.

And then, there were two others with black, curved blades, moving at high speed with a concealed aura—clearly assassins.

"So now, I've become the BOSS?"@@novelbin@@

Sterl chuckled in disbelief. A group of monsters working together to take him down? How laughable.

At that moment, a reminder from Dimension Perception flashed in his mind. The twelve mother creatures were charging at him, clearly no longer willing to remain in a standoff.

The gray energy orbs hovering in the air also began to spin rapidly, clearly waiting for an opening in Sterl's defense.

"Hahaha! Come at me!"

Sterl roared with excitement. After his increase in strength, he had been looking for an opportunity to let loose, and these mother creatures were the perfect target for him to unleash his full power!

"Annihilation Fist! Everyone, die!"

With all his power released, Law swirling around him, Sterl charged forward like an unstoppable warlord, launching a fierce offensive.

A punch was thrown. Annihilation Fist, while not as powerful as the complete Annihilation Realm King's Fist, still carried terrifying force. The other mother creatures dared not take it head-on, with only the two tankiest ones able to withstand the massive damage.

With every strike, the shields of the two tanks shattered, their bodies cracking with numerous deep fissures. However, with the healing from the two support mother creatures, they quickly rejoined the fray.

Aside from the two healers and the two mother creatures specializing in soul attacks, the remaining eight were all powerful melee combatants. Even with Sterl's quick reactions, there were still gaps in his defense.

In just one exchange, the two assassins seized the opportunity, using their sharp curved blades to carve deep, bone-revealing gashes into Sterl's body. The wounds were surrounded by a thick mist of gray energy.

Such injuries, even for a being with divine authority, would have a significant effect. But for Sterl, they were healed in an instant, and his defenses were even stronger than before!

At that moment, two powerful soul strikes, gathered over time, surged into his soul like a flood. Yet Sterl's soul, at a towering level of 82, was as solid and unyielding as a divine mountain. The attack barely made a ripple.

"Heh, you think you're the only ones with this ability?"

With a sneer, he focused his mind and fixed his gaze on the two mother creatures. Instantly, terrifying soul power turned into two sharp blades, striking straight into their souls.

In an instant, the two mother creatures trembled, their consciousness severely damaged by the soul blades, and they fell into a brief period of silence.

After taking care of these two, Sterl unleashed a flurry of punches, sending the eight remaining mother creatures crashing to the ground. Although he himself had sustained some serious injuries, his regeneration in Hell, coupled with the Star-Bone Sacred Body's Perfect Regeneration, meant that the wounds were nothing more than a minor inconvenience.

Just then, another alert from Dimension Perception sounded. Sterl sneered and immediately raised a Law barrier, followed by the Starry Battle Armor's absolute defensive shield.

In the next moment, dozens of gray energy orbs rushed toward him, but they were halted by the two shields. By the time the barriers were eroded and shattered, Sterl had already disappeared from his original position.

"Pathetic! Too weak! Is this all you've got!?"

Sterl couldn't help but feel a sense of disappointment. The battle had turned into child's play at this point. After the initial excitement, it had completely lost his interest. There was no need to even consider activating Power of Star-Bone—that would be a waste.

"With my current power, if I were to encounter a Silver Moon Wolf God—a high-level divine authority—again, even without using any of my trump cards, I could probably just slap it to death…"

He couldn't help but murmur, his thoughts drifting. However, the difference in combat power between high-level divine authorities was still massive. A Silver Moon Wolf God could only be considered mid- to low-tier, and as for the top-tier divine authorities, their battle power was anyone's guess.

But Sterl was confident. Once he unleashed his trump cards, even a top-tier divine authority wouldn't stand a chance against him!

That was confidence—the overwhelming confidence that came from absolute power!

He recalled the power he had witnessed before in the Orichalcum kingdom, a force unleashed by a powerful Divine Power. In retrospect, it now seemed insignificant compared to the casual punch he could throw. Of course, the Divine Power had been suppressed by the world, so it likely hadn't even unleashed one-tenth of its true strength.

But with all his cards on the table, he was confident he could face even the most formidable Divine Power!

Meanwhile, on the ground, the Will of Hell, huddled off to the side, was watching Sterl's rampage with wide eyes, completely dumbfounded.

What was supposed to be a situation where there was no escape, no chance of survival, had turned into something entirely unexpected. To his shock, this powerhouse had taken it all on himself.

Not only had he taken it, but judging by the current situation, it looked like he was breaking through?!

For a moment, the Will of Hell felt its emotions soar like a roller coaster. The despair that had once gripped it was now replaced by a surge of hope!

There was a way out! This time, there was truly hope!

Seeing Sterl—who was unstoppable, like a god of destruction or a divine being descending—Will of Hell felt the fear that had once dominated its thoughts fade, replaced by awe and a growing fanaticism.

It had existed for countless years, but this was the first time it had ever witnessed such a ferocious and brutal being. Fortunately, it was on the same side as this powerhouse, at least for now.

Sterl stood with one hand gripping a mother creature's head. The swirling vortex of over three hundred Laws, condensed into a force akin to a Law Black Hole, held the creature in a tight grip—there was no escaping.

He hovered in midair, looking down on the mother creatures with a disdainful gaze, his boredom growing as the gray orbs continued to float around him.

"Enough. Seems like I overestimated you all. This farce ends here."

Sterl said coldly, no longer interested in playing. Continuing this was nothing more than a waste of time.

He tightened his grip on the mother creature's head, and with a sudden surge of force, there was a loud bang. Under the power of his Annihilation Fist, its head exploded in a violent burst.

Just as he was about to activate Phantom Purgatory to drag its soul in and directly refine it, an inexplicable sense of unease suddenly washed over him.

At the same time, the trace of danger he had felt earlier flared up again, clearly signaling that this "wild dog" was furious.

In the next moment, the mother creature whose head Sterl had crushed instantly dissolved, turning into a pool of pitch-black liquid. Soon after, the other mother creatures began to dissolve as well, merging together at a terrifying speed.

"Finally planning to show your true hand?"

Sterl observed the scene with interest. He knew it was too late to act now; he might as well watch and see what other tricks these creatures had up their sleeves.

The pool of black liquid slowly began to rise, as if being reshaped.

Meanwhile, the gray energy orbs that had been floating around quickly merged into the mass. With their addition, the fusion of the mother creatures sped up even further.

Before long, the sound of liquid breaking apart echoed through the air, and from within the dark, sticky substance, a massive humanoid creature slowly emerged.

In an instant, an overwhelming sense of pressure radiated from the creature, so intense that Sterl felt as though his breath had been momentarily stolen away.

The creature's head was shaped like a massive dragon's, with a gaping maw and sharp fangs, its appearance grotesque and menacing. Its entire body was covered in thick, intricate scales, and from its back sprouted a pair of wings, as dark as metal. On these wings, countless writhing tendrils seemed ready to devour anything in their path.

Its lower limbs were as thick as elephant tusks, and from each side of its body extended two pairs of massive hands, each ending in sharp claws, giving it an even more terrifying appearance.

The creature's size was colossal, far surpassing any of the previous mother creatures Sterl had encountered. It stood at a staggering hundred meters tall, its armor-like scales promising near-impenetrable defense.

This was nothing short of a terrifying killing machine!

"To think they can even fuse their mother creatures—this is truly bizarre."

Sterl couldn't help but marvel, surprised by this unexpected turn. He hadn't anticipated that this would be the monster's backup plan.

But he had to admit, after the fusion of twelve mother creatures, just the pressure emanating from the creature's aura was enough to make Sterl feel immense pressure. Its battle power was undoubtedly formidable.
