Huo Beijiang, finding her pace too slow, stretched his long arm to pull her towards him.

The face of Gongxi Yunqi, the pampered Young Master of the Gongxi Family, had turned a deep red. He peered back at Huo Bei, anger and restraint swirling in his eyes. He wasn’t used to such treatment.

“Oh? You’re still standing there?” Huo Beijiang raised an eyebrow. “Little brat”.

“Who are you calling a little brat?”

“Huo Beijiang,” Gongxi Yunqi fumed.

“Call me uncle,” He glanced at Nanfei, “And she’s your aunt. Remember to greet her as ‘Aunt’ when you see her next time.”

“…” From Auntie to Aunt, the world was full of bitter malice towards him.

Enraged, Gongxi Yunqi stormed out without a backward glance, with Mi Yuezhen trailing worriedly behind.

Once they were gone, Nanfei pushed Huo Beijiang away.

“What’s the matter, honey?” Not caring in the slightest, Huo Beijiang once again swept her into his embrace before forcibly leading her back to their initial spot.

The waiter started to serve food just then. Delicate and juicy shrimp dumplings, savory wonton soup, and a dish of Yangzhou fried rice were all placed in front of Huo Beijiang, while she was presented with the rest of the dishes.

“How did you find out I was here?”

“What are you talking about? I just came for dinner and happened to run into you.” With chopsticks in hand, Huo Beijiang seemed completely harmless, a stark contrast to his imposing stance from earlier.
