Chapter 168 Lucius Breaks the Rules
Lucius had entered the main hall. Ragnar and Savra had already been waiting for him. They were currently sitting on their throne.
Savra glanced at Lucius and frowned. She felt that something was different about him that day.
Ragnar was also the same. He leaned forward and gripped the armrest of his throne tightly. "Lucius... did you... reach 6-Star?"
Lucius sat on the chair that had been prepared by the maids. He then glanced at Ragnar and tilted his head, smirking. "It appears so."
Ragnar blinked. He was really surprised by it. He relaxed his hand a bit. "How? It took me years to break through, and you...
Savra rose from her throne and went to Lucius. She studied him to see if anything was hidden beneath him. "I knew that you would become 6-Star, but I didn't expect this. Not this soon."
Lucius raised his eyebrow and folded his arms across his chest. "Is it that surprising? You both did tell me I was a genius, after all."
Savra's lips twitched as she heard that. "Don't get cocky. You're twenty, aren't you?"
Lucius tapped his chin. He was pretending to think. "I believe so. Yes, twenty."
Ragnar shook his head and rose from the throne. He walked toward Lucius and looked at him. "Twenty years old and already 6-Star..."
He then glanced at Savra and sighed. He glanced back at Lucius. "Do you know how long it takes most tamers to reach 6-Star?"
Lucius was quite interested in it. He never thought about it. "Enlighten me."
Savra crossed her arms and tilted her head slightly as she began to explain. "For most tamers, reaching 4-Star happens in their early to mid-twenties. For 5-Star, it's usually their late twenties or early thirties."
She then gestured with one hand. "And as for 6-Star... That's a milestone most hit in their thirties. If they're fortunate enough to reach it."
Lucius was quite interested in it and smirked. "How about 7-Star? How long did it take?"
Ragnar answered this time. He folded his arms across his broad chest. "Forties or later. Even for those with King or Queen-level talent."
Savra nodded. "Even with our talents, which are King and Queen Talent. We aren't as fast as you."
Savra got her face closer to Lucius and stared at him. "So, Lucius... What's your secret?"
Lucius only chuckled and spread his hands slightly, as if to say it was beyond his control. "Who knows? Maybe I'm just lucky. Or maybe I really am as much of a genius as you all claim."
Ragnar's mouth twitched. He wanted to argue but decided not to do it. Savra then sighed. "Fine. I'll let it go for now. But don't expect us not to watch you closely from now on."
Lucius smirked. "I wouldn't have it any other way." Stay updated through My Virtual Library Empire
Savra exchanged a glance with Ragnar and turned her attention back to Lucius. "And your maids? Are they ready? It's time for us to leave."
Lucius began to become serious. "They're ready. We can move whenever you are ready."
Ragnar put his hand on Lucius's shoulder. "Good. Let's get moving. I want this done quickly."
Lucius nodded once. Without another word, the three of them turned toward the entrance.
As they walked, Savra glanced sideways at Lucius. "By the way... if you call this luck again after we're done, I may have to hit you."
Lucius chuckled softly. "Noted. But don't worry. I'll be sure to call it skill next time."
Savra shook her head but also, at the same time, smirked as she was waiting for it to happen.

Outside the Volcaria Estate, Liora and Luna stood near the teleportation platform. They had been waiting for Lucius and the others.
Lucius turned to face Liora and Ragnar directly. "Liora, you and Patriarch Ragnar will head to meet Minister Anselm. You'll coordinate with him and prepare the assault."
Liora became serious and nodded. "Understood, Master. I will make sure that this mission is a success."
Ragnar also nodded. "Don't you worry. With me here, everything will be fine."@@novelbin@@
Lucius then shifted his gaze to Luna and Savra. "Luna, you and Matriarch Savra will handle the Kryndal hub in Flame Wing City and steal the remaining Red Dragon material before they can react."
Luna nodded and smirked. "Simple enough. Just consider it done, Master."
Savra tilted her head slightly as she glanced back at Lucius. "And what about you, Lucius? What will you do?"
Lucius glanced back at her and smirked. He gestured toward himself. "Me? Of course I'll stay here."
Savra was surprised. She raised her eyebrow. "Staying behind? Why?"
Lucius shrugged. He spread his hands nonchalantly. "I'm no tamer or fighter. In a direct confrontation, I'd only slow you down. My role is different. I'll prepare the final phase of our plan."
Savra sighed. "The one weakness you have. For all your genius, you can't fight."
Lucius chuckled softly. "That's why I leave the fighting to capable hands like yours. Now, enough talk."
He gestured toward the teleportation platform. "Time is running out. We need to move."
Ragnar turned without a word and began walking toward the platform, Liora following closely behind.
Luna glanced at Lucius briefly, giving a small nod of acknowledgment before falling in step beside Savra.
Savra paused at the base of the platform, turning back one last time to look at Lucius. "Don't screw up your part."
Lucius gave her a lazy two-fingered salute. "Don't worry, Matriarch. When you return, everything will be in place."
Without further comment, Savra and Luna stepped onto the platform beside Ragnar and Liora.
The teleportation platform was soon activated. In an instant, the four of them vanished, leaving Lucius standing alone.
Lucius lowered his hand and smirked as he turned back toward Volcaria Estate. "Now... time to ensure this final plan of mine runs perfectly."
He went back into the Volcaria Estate. He was already thinking of what he would be doing later if they really executed the final plan.
What do you think?
