Chapter 176 The Confrontation with the Order's Leader
Anthony and the rest of the group went deeper into the enemy base. Just as they arrived at the bigger space, they could see someone.
It was another elder from the Red Dragon Order, Zerath. Zerath looked at Anthony and the others.
He smirked as he recognized some of them. "So, it's true. There are some fools who are bold enough to invade our base. All of them are even famous ones."
Anthony looked at Zerath. He tried to scan his aura and found out that he was a 6-Star tamer.
He turned around and glanced at Delano and Drayton. "This one is both yours. Handle him quickly. Karion and I will take care of the boss."
Delano nodded. "Understood, young Lord."
Drayton also nodded as well. "Leave him to us."
Anthony glanced at Karion, who had already moved forward. Without another world, he followed. Both of them passed Zerath without a second glance.
Zerath didn't stop them at all. Instead, he smirked faintly, as he already knew what was going to happen. "Go ahead. You'll find my boss is more than ready to deal with the likes of you."
Anthony and Karion continued ahead. They didn't care what Zerath was talking about.
Meanwhile, Zerath turned his attention to Delano and Drayton, who were confronting him now.
Zerath only chuckled as he looked at both of their golem bodies. "So, I get the golems, huh? This might actually be fun."
Without wasting any time, Zerath fused with his own beast, the 6-Star Ember Fang Basilisk.
His body began to transform. His arms elongated into scaled arms with sharp claws. His legs fused into one big snaketail.
His eyes had changed into two red snake eyes and two curved fangs grew from his mouth. They were also dripped with molten venom.
He tilted his head slightly in front of the two golems. "You'll need to do better than just look intimidating. Let's see if you can keep up."
Delano stepped forward first. He readied his right golem arm. "You talk too much. Let's see if you can back it up."
Drayton also did the same. He readied his right molten golem arm. "We'll finish this quickly. You're nothing more than an obstacle."
Zerath grinned. He coiled his snaketail like a spring. "Quickly, huh? Let's see how long you last."
Zerath immediately launched himself toward the two tamers. His claws already glowed red.
The two golems also used their golem arms to guard against Zerath's attacks.
Meanwhile, Anthony and Karion pressed further inside. Behind them, their armies were figthing with the tamers from the Red Dragon Order.
Thanks to it, the way was cleared and it was easier for them to advance without any interruption.
Soon, they stopped, as in front of them was a huge metal door. From the size, they immediately knew that behind this door must be an important room.
Athony put his hand on the door. He turned to Karion. "This must be the place where their leader is currently hiding."
Karion walked closer to the door and nodded. He also smirked as he glanced at Anthony. "No doubt about it. This is the boss room, so step back, Prince. Let me handle this."
Anthony complied and stepped back a few steps. He crossed his arms as he watched Karion preparation.
Karion extended his right claw. It began to shine as he channeled the thunder energy into it.
Thunder energy surged toward his palm and gathered rapidly into a sphere of thunder energy.
Karion smirked as he raised his claw high. He glanced at the door. "Thunder Burst!"
He immediately brought his claw down and unleashed the energy blast that was shaped like a massive claw toward the door.

The blast struck the massive door and exploded it. The door was strong but not strong enough to handle the force of the Thunder Burst.
The door immediately crumpled inward. Its reinforced metal warped and broke down.
Karion smirked with satisfaction as he turned back to Anthony. "Let's go. It's time to confront this leader."
Anthony nodded and went deeper into the room. He also praised Karion. "Impressive, Patriarch Karion."
Anthony and Karion entered the massive chamber beyond. The chamber was grand and imposing.
At its center, a person was sitting on a throne that was carved from obsidian. The man leaned back casually while watching both of them.
Anthony looked at the man. "So, you're the leader of this group. You've sown chaos and destruction across my empire. It's time for your reign to end."
The man on the throne chuckled. "I see it now. No wonder my plans have not been successful these days. I suspected another force was meddling, but to think it was you all along."
The man stood up and looked toward Anthony. "The empire itself or rather, the first prince Anthony himself."
He immediately clenched his fist in anger. "I am Bryson, leader of the Red Dragon Order. You dare to stand in my way?"@@novelbin@@
He pointed his finger at Anthony. "You will pay dearly for disrupting the path of the Order!"
Anthony frowned. "Your 'order' has brought nothing but death and suffering to my people. Today, it ends."
Bryson only smirked. "Brave words. Let's see if your strength matches your arrogance."
Without further delay, Bryon fused with his beast, the Infernal Scaled Wyrm. His body was immediately covered in obsidian armor.
His arms transformed into massive claws and sharp molten wings erupted from his back.
Karion frowned as he felt the overwhelming aura from Bryson. Karion glanced back at Anthony. "Stand back, Prince. He is a 7-Star Tamer, so this one's mine."
Anthony nodded and stepped back. "Don't let him overwhelm you, Karion."
Karion smirked. "I'll handle him easily. Just don't get in my way."
Bryson looked at Karion and sneered. "You think you can handle me? I'll show you the true power of the Red Dragon Order!"
Karion smirked and crackled his claws with thunder. "Big talk. Let's see if you can back it up."
What do you think?
