Beast Hack: Customizing Beasts and Capturing Beauties

Chapter 253 Serene Fortune and Silver Resilience?!

The three women were going back to their apartment but before that, Loreia needed to do something first.

Loreia immediately made a contract with Argentis. It was also smoother than expected.

The contract process was smoother than expected. Argentis easily accepted the contract from Loreia.

The reason why she contracted it in that very moment was because she needed to put it in her beast space to take it home.

Luna glanced at her as they walked. "Smart move. If you had walked in with that thing behind you, people would have lost their minds."

Loreia smirked. "Exactly. A silver-scaled drake would've been a little too eye-catching."

Liora nodded slightly. "You handled the contract well. Argentis accepted you immediately."

Loreia shrugged. "Of course. I mean, did you see it? Argentis knew exactly who was the stronger one there."

Luna laughed. "Yeah, it was either obey you or risk getting crushed. Not much of a choice."

Loreia rolled her eyes. "You make it sound like I forced it. We bonded. It was mutual respect."

Luna smirked. "Right, right. Mutual respect… with a hint of intimidation."

Loreia ignored her and stretched. "Anyway, now that I finally have a beast, I need to start training properly."

Liora looked at her. "Are you planning to evolve Argentis immediately?"

Loreia tapped her chin. "I don't know yet. I want to see what it can do in its base form first. Besides, Lucius might have some thoughts on that."

Luna chuckled. "Oh, you know he's going to want to mess with it. Give him some times, and he'll turn that thing into a monster."

Loreia smirked. "Good. That's exactly what I want."@@novelbin@@

They soon arrived at their apartment, where Lucius was already waiting for them.

Like usual, Lucius was sitting on the sofa, drinking a cup of tea.

The moment they entered, Lucius turned to them and smirked. "You're back. Did you get the beast you wanted?"

Loreia smirked, nodding. "Of course."

Without hesitation, she raised her hand and summoned Argentis.

Argentis soon appeared from Loreia's beast space, standing calmly beside Loreia.

Lucius was a bit surprised looking at his form, which was a silver-scaled drake. "Now that… is a good-looking beast."

He stood up and walked toward it. He immediately looked around its body.

Without another word, Lucius activated his system, letting it scan Argentis.

---

[Species: Argentis]

[Stats:]

[Vit: C]

[Agi: C]

[Int: C]

[Silver Resilience: Argentis possesses a body of exceptional endurance, immune to disease, fatigue, and natural decay. Its sturdy frame resists physical strain, and it passively recovers from injuries faster than most creatures, allowing it to thrive in even the harshest conditions.]

Lucius stared at the system data and was a bit surprised. "Wow… to think that your beast is more interesting than I expected."

Loreia grinned, crossing her arms as she tilted her head slightly. "Of course. Argentis was already known to be smart, even though it's just a C-Rank beast."

She patted Argentis' head. "It was also said that it has an exceptionally healthy body, far beyond what's normal for a C-Rank beast. Even the handlers at the Beast Castle thought it was strange."

Luna raised her eyebrow. "So what, it just naturally had good genetics?"

Lucius nodded and shook his head at the same time. "Not just good genetics. This beast has ridiculous luck—that's probably why it was never captured easily. It always escaped from danger because things would unknowingly work in its favor."

Luna scoffed. "So you're telling me this thing's entire life was basically avoiding problems by pure luck?"

Lucius smirked. "More than that. It has a special body—its endurance is insane for its rank. Even if it takes a hit, it can recover far faster than most creatures. Meaning, in a prolonged battle, it's almost impossible to put down."

Liora, who had been silently observing, finally spoke. "A beast that refuses to die and is hard to catch… It's no wonder the Aurelius Family wanted it."

Loreia chuckled. "Well, too bad for them. Argentis is mine now."

Lucius took a step back. "And seeing its color… it fits you perfectly. Not just you, but our entire group."

Loreia smirked, placing a hand on her hip. "Obviously. Did you really think I'd choose something unworthy?"

Luna let out a dramatic sigh. "For once, I'll admit—you actually picked something good."

Loreia rolled her eyes. "Gee, thanks for the approval. I totally needed it."

Luna grinned. "Oh, don't get too excited. It just means now you have no excuse if you lose against me."

Loreia cracked her knuckles. "Oh, you wish you could still beat me. Now that I have Argentis, you better get ready to eat your words."

Lucius chuckled. "Enough posturing. The real question is—what's next?"

Loreia tilted her head. "What do you mean?"

Lucius smirked. "Now that you've got your beast, it's time to make it even better."

Loreia's grin widened. "I was waiting for you to say that."

Luna clapped her hands together. "Alright, so what's the plan? Are we evolving this beast immediately?"

Lucius only smirked. "We're not just evolving it. We're going to turn it into something beyond even my expectations."

Liora nodded. "Then we should prepare. If Argentis's evolution is anything like what Master usually does, it won't be a simple process."

Loreia excitedly patted Argentis's head. "Hear that, buddy? You're about to become something legendary."

Argentis tilted his head, blinking its eyes. It didn't fully understand what Lucius meant.

Loreia placed her hand on its back and chuckled. "Don't worry, Argentis. Just trust the process."

Lucius also put his hand on its back. "You will be a really nice beast to hack this time."

Luna grinned. "Oh, I'm excited for this one. This is going to be fun."

Liora simply nodded. "We should begin as soon as possible. The sooner Argentis evolves, the sooner Loreia can test its full capabilities."

Lucius chuckled, stretching his fingers as if warming up for a task. "Well then… let's begin, shall we?"

Argentis let out a small, uncertain rumble, waiting for whatever was about to come.
