Beast Hack: Customizing Beasts and Capturing Beauties

Chapter 261 Tortured Without a Sound

The henchman was now struggling. His right arm was completely unresponsive.

What the henchman didn't realize was that the finger claws Loreia was using weren't just ordinary weapons.

They were, in fact, very similar to his own Razorfang sword—but far superior in design.

Unlike the Beast Weaponization process, where tamers turned their beasts into weapons, Lucius had taken a completely different approach.

Using his system's hacking ability, he had done something far more efficient.

He manually and artificially transformed live beasts into live equipment.

The finger claws that Loreia wore had been crafted from a weak, insignificant F-Rank beast known as a Zapmite.

Zapmites were tiny, annoying insect-type beasts that weren't deadly. Explore hidden tales at My Virtual Library Empire

They weren't useful in combat. At best, they delivered weak electric shocks—barely enough to cause brief muscle numbness.

To most people, Zapmites were nothing more than oversized mosquitoes.

But for Lucius?

They were raw materials.

Thanks to their F-Rank status, it only took 10 Hack Points to turn one Zapmite into a single finger claw.

He had made five claws for one hand, costing only 50 Hack Points.

But of course, F-Rank weapons weren't useful.

So Lucius had simply enhanced them.

Using his system, he had boosted the stats of the Zapmite Finger Claws from F-Rank to C-Rank, which had only cost 2,220 Hack Points in total.

A ridiculously cheap price for something just as effective as a Beast Weaponization transformation.

The henchman gritted his teeth as he just realized how badly this fight had turned against him.

His right arm hung limply at his side, completely useless. "Damn it...!"

But he still had his left hand.

Clenching his jaw, he gripped his weaponized sword tighter and lunged forward.

His muscles strained as he swung down with all the strength he could muster, aiming directly for Loreia's torso for a desperate, final attempt.

But... It was too slow. Far too slow.

Loreia's eyes tracked the movement effortlessly. Her body wasn't even tense.

She simply tilted her head slightly, shifting her stance and with a single motion, she sidestepped.

The henchman's sword slashed through nothing but air. He immediately frowned.

Before he could even process his mistake, a sharp pain exploded in his left arm.

Loreia had already moved and shot her left hand forward, locking her fingers around his wrist. "Too slow."

The henchman's eyes widened. "Wha—?"

Loreia didn't let him finish and shot her right hand. She used the sharp tips of her finger claws and drove them into his exposed forearm.

"AAAAARGH—!"

A scream tore from the henchman's throat as pain surged through his body.

His fingers spasmed, his grip on the sword faltered, and then his left arm went completely numb like his right arm.

His sword slipped from his grasp, clattering to the floor, silencing the whole restaurant.

The henchman stumbled backward, his legs shaking as he looked at his now-useless arms. "I… I can't move them…!"

Darry, who had been watching with smug amusement before, now frowned.

The henchman clenched his jaw. He glared at Loreia and growled. "D-Damn you!"

Loreia tilted her head slightly and smirked with satisfaction as she watched him struggle like a trapped animal.

She soon let out a mocking chuckle. "Oh? You still have enough energy to shout? I should fix that."

Before he could react, Loreia stepped forward. She immediately struck his face but not with her fist.

She used her finger claws to slice across his lower jaw, barely puncturing the skin, making a small cut with barely any pain.

The henchman smirked, thinking she had missed a real attack but then his face stopped moving.

His jaw refused to open, his lips twitched uselessly, and his tongue felt like lead inside his mouth.

A strangled, muffled noise escaped his throat but nothing more. His entire face was paralyzed.

He immediately realized what was happening and he panicked because of it.

He couldn't speak or shout. He couldn't even move his damn mouth.

Loreia sighed dramatically, flicking her fingers clean of the residual energy from the claws.

She tilted her head slightly, a smirk playing on her lips. "Much better."

The henchman's body trembled violently, but he remained standing—barely.

His legs quivered, his breathing hitched, but there was nothing he could do.

He was trapped inside his own body. Too scared to move or even run away.

Then, with a slow, dangerous smirk, Loreia leaned in close and whispered. "Now.."

She tapped one finger claw lightly against his stiffened jaw, as if testing a broken toy. "The fun will begin."

---

Without hesitation, Loreia drove her finger claws straight toward the henchman's eyes.

The sharp metal tips dug into his soft flesh, burrowing deep with a squelch.

The henchman couldn't even scream.

His mouth was frozen, his body locked in paralyzing agony, but the pain? The pain was very, very real.

His legs twitched violently, his body convulsing, but he was completely powerless.

The restaurant fell into silence as the torture continued.

Some people gasped, covering their mouths. Others turned away, unable to watch the gruesome display.

A few diners lost their composure entirely—vomiting at the sight.

Even Darry, the so-called "gang leader", felt his stomach churn.

He had seen violence before. He had seen people get beaten, stabbed, even killed.

But this?

This was something else entirely. This was torture.

His confidence wavered, his fists clenching as a cold chill ran down his spine. "W-What the hell is she?"

Loreia, meanwhile, remained completely unfazed. Her expression was neutral, almost bored. "Tch."

She twisted her claws slightly, feeling the faint resistance of nerves and soft tissue.

She smirked as she pulled and ripped both of his eyeballs out with one fluid motion.

Plop.

The mangled orbs dangled loosely from their optic nerves for a second before she let them drop to the floor.

The henchman's body convulsed one final time before his mind gave up.

His breathing was ragged, his foam-covered lips twitching faintly.

Then he completely passed out and collapsed to the ground, twitching like a dying animal.

Loreia clicked her tongue, shaking her head. "Quite weak."

She flexed her fingers, wiping the bloodied claws against the unconscious man's shirt, as if it were nothing but dust on her hands.

Darry stared at her, his face pale. For the first time in his life, he was terrified.

The restaurant remained silent and no one dared to move.

Lucius, who had been watching the entire time, finally spoke. "Well now... this is getting interesting."
