Chapter 278 Lucius' New Head Maid Shocks His Team
Luna, Liora and Loreia didn't expect to be delivered straight to Lucius.
Loreia frowned, crossing her arms as she glanced at him. "Why are you here, Lucius? And… who is that?"
Luna and Liora followed her gaze and soon found a silver-haired girl behind Lucius.
It also seemed that she wore some kind of maid uniform, but she was not just any maid.
She also seemed to hover slightly above the ground, as if not entirely human.
Liora's eyes narrowed. "Wait a minute... that aura... Isn't she the Spectral Knight from before?"
Lucius clapped once, drawing her attention. "Sharp as ever, Liora."
He smirked. "Yes, she was indeed the previous Spectral Knight. But don't worry, I've made some adjustments. She's our ally now."
He turned slightly, gesturing toward her. "Isn't that right, Lilia?"
Lilia bowed deeply. "Yes, Master."
She then lifted her gaze toward Luna, Liora, and Loreia and bowed down.
"It is a pleasure to meet you, mistresses. I am Lilia, and I will serve the Luxoria household from this day forward."
Liora sighed, deactivating her claw as she folded her arms. "Hah… I see."
Luna smirked. "As expected of you, Master."
Loreia, however, was still staring at Lilia, baffled. "You can do this?!"
Lucius chuckled, tilting his head slightly. "Of course I can."
Luna giggled, stepping beside Loreia. "Big sister, you should know by now—Master Lucius can do anything, as long as he has enough energy."
Loreia let out a long breath, shaking her head. "This is ridiculous."
Lucius grinned, then turned to Lilia. "Now then, Lilia. I have one more task for you."
Lilia bowed once more. "What is your command, Master?"
Lucius smirked. "Rearrange the mansion. Make it beautiful and perfect. Transform it into a stronghold worthy of bearing the Luxoria name."
Lilia smiled, stepping forward as an immense surge of energy flowed through her.
"As you command, Master. The Luxoria Mansion will be reborn."
And with that order, the entire mansion trembled as the transformation began.
---
Lilia was working on rebuilding the mansion, reshaping it into a true fortress.
In the meantime, Lucius turned to Liora, Luna and Loreia. "Now that we have a base, let's talk about the future."
The three women paused, focusing on him as he crossed his arms. "What will we do next? Do any of you have plans?"
Liora was the first to speak, cracking her knuckles. "If this place is safe, then I want to head out and train."

Liora tilted her head slightly. "Maybe… I'll become the best warrior in this world or something."
Lucius nodded approvingly. "Quite a good goal. Strength is always valuable."
Then he turned to the other two. "What about you two?"
Luna tapped her chin, thinking for a moment before smirking. "Why don't we start a business?"
Lucius raised his eyebrow. "A business?"
Luna nodded. "Yes. Specifically, a beast-selling business."
She then gestured toward Lucius. "With Master's ability, we can create extremely strong beasts and sell them at a high price. The demand for powerful beasts is endless."
Lucius was immediately intrigued by her plan. "I see… That's a good one."
Luna grinned. "Of course it is and I'll work on it with big sister Loreia."
Loreia, who had been listening silently, suddenly pointed at herself. "Me?"
Luna chuckled. "Of course! You know more about this world than I do. You understand trends, social structures, and things like marketing and public relations."
Loreia blinked, then frowned slightly. "So, you just want me to handle the social side while you take care of selling?"
Luna snapped her fingers. "Exactly! I'll handle logistics, and you'll handle connections."
She then gave a playful wink. "With your knowledge of the world and my ability to manipulate people, we'll make a killing."
Lucius smirked, amused by her confidence. "You really thought this through, huh?"
Luna nodded firmly. "Of course! With Master's ability, we can create beasts that no one else can match. We'll dominate the market."
Lucius exhaled with satisfaction. "Good. Then let's do it."
But then he raised his hand slightly, signaling for a pause. "Still, where do you plan to set up the shop? What about the beast stocks? Security? Logistics?"
Luna smirked. "Don't you worry, Master. I already thought about all of that."
Lucius raised his eyebrow, waiting for her to elaborate.
Luna gestured toward the forest surrounding the mansion. "Like I said before, the forest around this mansion is filled with powerful beasts."
Luna gestured toward Liora. "Liora can train while also capturing them. That way, we keep a steady supply of high-quality stock while she gets stronger. Two birds, one stone."
Liora crossed her arms, nodding slightly. "That's fine. If I'm going out anyway, I might as well bring back something useful."
Lucius nodded. "That solves the stock problem."
He leaned slightly forward. "What about the shop's location?"
Luna's smirk widened. "I have a place in mind."
Lucius tilted his head slightly. "Where?"
Luna grinned. "A dangerous location."
Loreia frowned. "Why would you pick somewhere dangerous? That sounds like a problem."
Luna shook her head. "Not a problem—a filter. We're selling powerful beasts, right? That means only strong people can afford them. If they can't even reach the shop, they're not worthy of buying from us."
Lucius's smirk returned. "That's an interesting way to look at it."
Luna nodded. "Exactly. It creates exclusivity. Only the elite will be able to come, which means we can set ridiculously high prices."
Loreia sighed. "Sounds like a scam."
Luna giggled. "It's not a scam. It's called business."
Lucius chuckled, then leaned back slightly. "And the shop's defense? I have mentioned security. What do you suggest?"
Luna then smirked. "Simple, Master. Can't you just make another one like Lilia?"
Lucius paused for a moment, considering it.
Luna continued. "Think about it. Lilia is the perfect guardian for the mansion. What if we had a second entity?"
Luna moved her hand, showing the dream shop. "Just think. Being specialized in defending a pet shop? Something that builds defenses and manages the facility?"
Lucius tapped his fingers against his forearm, thinking. "A living stronghold dedicated to the business."
Luna grinned. "Exactly. We won't need guards. We won't need human workers—everything will run automatically."
Lucius nodded slowly. He really liked Luna's idea. "Interesting. Very interesting."
He then ultimately decided it. "Then let's create the perfect guardian for our beast shop. I still got a lot of energy."
What do you think?
