Chapter 282 A Metal Stronger Than Diamond?
Lilia, standing nearby, noticed Lucius deep in thought.
He was considering what materials should be used for the foundation of the pet shop.
She bowed gracefully. "Master, may I offer you a suggestion?"
Lucius raised his eyebrow, intrigued. "A suggestion? Do you know of good materials?"
Lilia nodded firmly. "I do. In fact, some of the most important parts of this mansion were built with it."
Lucius's smirk widened. "I see… Please, enlighten me."
Lilia then began to explain it to Lucius.
"This metal does not have a known name—it was discovered by the past owner of this mansion, and its source is hidden beneath us."
Lucius's eyes sharpened. "A mine beneath the mansion? Go on."
Lilia continued, "The metal looks similar to silver, but it is far stronger than diamond while being significantly lighter than most metals."
Lucius nodded slowly, intrigued.
"Not only that. It has a unique property—it is resistant to nearly all forms of attacks. Magic, physical, corrosive elements—nothing easily damages it."
Lucius grinned. "That explains why the mansion still stands strong after all these years."
Lilia smiled softly. "Precisely. Because of its difficult-to-use nature, only small portions were used for the most critical parts of the mansion's structure."
She then added something even more intriguing.
"And, after observing it for a long time, I've discovered that this metal does not remain stagnant—it grows stronger over time as it absorbs mana. The longer it remains in place, the more durable it becomes."
Lucius' eyes gleamed. "An evolving material."
Lilia nodded. "Yes. Furthermore, it has a natural regulation property—it maintains a stable internal temperature, no matter the outside environment."
Lucius chuckled. "That means a pet shop built with it would be able to house any type of beast without environmental restrictions."
Lilia smiled knowingly. "Exactly. But there's more."
Lucius tilted his head. "More?"
Lilia's expression turned serious.
"The metal appears to have holy properties—it naturally repels beings with evil intentions, preventing curses and corruption from lingering within structures built from it."
Lucius' smirk deepened. "So, not only is it durable and temperature-resistant, but it also grants protection against negative forces?"
Lilia nodded once more. "That's not all. Those who remain in structures made from this metal for extended periods have been observed to gain luck, improved health, and enhanced magical capabilities. It has a subtle but powerful supportive effect on its occupants."
Lucius laughed lightly. "This metal just keeps getting better."

"And because both Liline and I have the ability to reshape and expand structures, we can easily manipulate this metal to build the perfect shop—even though it is difficult to work with under normal conditions."
Lucius crossed his arms, smirking. "I see."
A material that absorbs mana and grows stronger over time.
A metal that resists all attacks and regulates temperature.
A holy metal that repels evil, grants luck, and enhances health and magic.
And now he had two beings capable of shaping it freely, Lucius's smirk widened.
"It's perfect."
He then turned to Lilia. "Bring me some raw material. I want to see it for myself."
Lilia nodded immediately, not hesitating. "Understood, Master."
She gestured, and within seconds, a group of golems emerged from the depths of the mansion, their massive hands carrying slabs of the mysterious silver ore.
The golems carefully placed the ore before Lucius, revealing its true form.
Lucius raised an eyebrow, intrigued. The chunk of ore was large, yet surprisingly light when he touched it.
He lifted a small fragment, testing its weight. "Lighter than it looks… but it doesn't seem that strong."
Lucius was curious about it so he wanted to check it. "Lilia, let's test its durability."
Lilia nodded. "Allow me, Master."
She picked up the ore, carrying it effortlessly to the highest point of the mansion.
Without hesitation—she dropped it.
The silver chunk plummeted straight down, crashing into the ground.
A deep crater formed beneath it, the force shaking the surroundings slightly.
And yet—the ore itself remained untouched.
Lucius smirked, stepping toward the crater, inspecting the ore closely. "Not even a single scratch."
He chuckled. "This is a really good ore."
He then turned to Lilia. "This material doesn't have a name, does it?"
Lilia shook her head. "No, Master. It has never been officially named."
Lucius's smirk widened. "Then, since this metal will serve as the very foundation of our family's legacy…"
He placed his hand on the ore and smirked. "Let's call it—Luxorite, the silver of Luxoria."
Lilia bowed slightly, acknowledging the name. "Luxorite… a fitting name, Master."
Lucius grinned, satisfied. With this ore, his mansion, his shop, and his family's empire would unbreakable.
But still, although the Luxorite ore was perfect, a new concern appeared in his mind.
He turned to Lilia and asked, "Lilia, I know that there's a mine below the mansion… but will the supply be enough?"
Lilia's expression darkened slightly, and she hesitated before answering. "The supply is limited, Master."
Lucius' eyes narrowed. "Limited?"
Lilia nodded. "Yes. From what I have observed, the Luxorite veins do not run deep. The mine holds some reserves, but not enough to completely construct both the mansion and the pet shop out of it."
Lucius's frown deepened. "I see…"
Lilia continued. "Perhaps because this metal is so powerful, it is naturally rare. Even after years of being here, I have not seen it regenerate or expand beyond what is already present."
Lucius sighed, rubbing his chin. "That complicates things. If our supply is limited, then we can't afford to waste even a single piece."
He let his mind drift, searching for a solution.
Then he glanced at the massive golem standing behind Lilia, which was one of her creations. "Wait a minute…"
Lucius smirked as a new idea appeared in his mind. If the supply of Luxorite was low...
Then why not make more?
Lilia noticed his expression change and tilted her head slightly. "Master? Did you think of something?"
Lucius grinned. "Oh, I did. And if this works… we won't ever have to worry about running out of Luxorite again."
Lilia's eyes widened slightly, intrigued. "Do you have a method to increase the supply?"
Lucius chuckled. "Let's find out."
What do you think?
