Beast Hack: Customizing Beasts and Capturing Beauties

Chapter 307: Leon & Vornis Perfected

Liora grinned, watching as Leon stood before her, his presence more controlled and refined than ever before.

"Leon. Transform into a tank."

Leon's flames flickered for a bit.

Then—

His entire body shifted, compressing, reshaping and restructuring until—

A massive, futuristic silver tank now stood in his place.

Its sleek metallic frame glowed faintly, reinforced with Luxorite plating.

Its turret was massive yet streamlined, looking far more advanced than any normal war machine.

Liora's eyes gleamed with satisfaction.

"Now that's what I wanted to see."

She walked around the tank, running her fingers along its armored plating, nodding in approval.

"The knowledge has been completed. Leon has truly become a perfect war beast."

Lucius watched calmly, his eyes flickering toward Vornis, who stood silently.

Its body was now fully metallic, resembling a living steel soldier.

He grinned slightly.

"Leon has become a war machine... and Vornis has evolved into a true soldier."

He turned toward Liline.

"Liline, take Vornis back to containment."

Liline nodded gracefully.

"Understood, Master."

The spectral staff stepped forward, guiding Vornis toward its reinforced cage.

Lucius exhaled, watching everything fall into place.

"Now with this… hunting SS-Rank beasts should be far more efficient."

Liora grinned, cracking her knuckles.

"Of course. And with Leon's stats all breaking through to SS-Rank, hunting will be a lot easier than before."

Lucius nodded, satisfied.

"Good. Then I'll return to Luxoria Mansion first."

Luna raised her eyebrow. "Going back already, Master?"

Lucius stepped onto the hidden teleportation platform.

"I need to take care of something there. Don't slack off while I'm gone."

Liora chuckled. "Don't worry, Master. I'll use this time to hunt another SS-Rank beast."

Lucius smirked.

"Good. Keep the pace up."

As the teleportation activated, his figure vanished into light.

Luna and Loreia exchanged glances before turning back to the massive caged Dreadmaw.

Loreia sighed, adjusting her sleeves.

"If that's the case… then we'll see what we can do with this one."

Luna grinned, placing her hand on the reinforced cage.

"Yeah. Let's see just how much we can push it before the auction."

---

Four days had passed, and the day of Beast Castle's auction had finally arrived.

The massive auction venue was packed with people, nobles, merchants, and elite beast tamers.

All of them gathered to witness the grand event.

Liora, dressed in a casual yet well-prepared outfit, stood among the crowd, her eyes scanning the area.

She could see beasts displayed in reinforced cages, most of them being B-Rank or lower.

"Tch… They're selling low-tier beasts like this at an auction?"

She muttered under her breath, not impressed by the selection.

As she walked past a few sections, she noticed a few A-Rank beasts.

But—they were rare.

Liora narrowed her eyes.

"So, they're keeping the real stuff hidden inside…"

Her gaze then shifted toward the center of the auction building, where a massive, transparent cage stood.

Inside it—

The SS-Rank Beast.

Even though it was enclosed within the building, the structure allowed it to be visible from the outside.

But the view was slightly obscured.

Liora scoffed.

"Hmph. So they're baiting people in with this."

Only registered bidders were allowed inside to see the SS-Rank beast up close.

Liora smirked, pulling out the invitation that had been arranged by Loreia and Luna.

The moment she reached the entrance, a staff member in formal attire stepped forward.

"Your invitation, please."

Liora calmly handed it over, her expression indifferent.

The staff scanned the invitation, nodding in approval.

"Everything is in order. Welcome to the Beast Castle Auction. Please follow the signs inside for the main bidding halls."

Liora smirked.

"Thanks."

Without hesitation, she stepped through the doors, entering the hall of the auction.

Inside, only the elites gathered, the air thick with wealth, power, and ambition.

Liora casually scanned the massive hall, immediately focusing on the centerpiece of the auction.

The SS-Rank Beast.

She smirked, crossing her arms.

"Let's see just how good you are."

Her gaze locked onto the colossal beast inside the reinforced cage.

It was a horse, but unlike any ordinary warhorse—it was massive.

Though not nearly as large as Dreadmaw, it still stood at an intimidating 5 to 6 meters tall, its muscular frame covered in thick, rock-like plating.

The sheer weight and density of its body made it resemble a horse golem.

Its eyes burned with a fierce spirit, clearly not a docile beast but a creature bred for destruction and war.

Liora tilted her head, intrigued.

"Hmm… Not bad. You look like a real powerhouse."

She activated her scanning ability, her vision flickering with data as the beast's full stats appeared before her.

A small smirk formed on her lips as she analyzed the results.

"I see… It's definitely stronger than Vorafang."

She glanced at its stats, reading through its abilities carefully.

"But… still weaker than Dreadmaw."

Her eyes narrowed slightly.

"Master said this auction would fail… but I don't see how."

She took another step back, her gaze drifting toward the rest of the auction hall.

Everything was run professionally—high-class attendants, a refined and elegant interior, and an auctioning system that seemed well managed.

From an outsider's perspective, everything looked flawless.

Liora crossed her arms, her smirk fading slightly as curiosity crept into her mind.

"Tch… What exactly does Master see that I don't?"

She exhaled, shaking her head before walking toward the private bidding rooms.

"Well… I'll just wait and find out."

With that, she stepped inside her designated room, a lavish VIP suite overlooking the auction stage.

It also had a one-way transparent wall allowing her to see everything happening outside, while maintaining her privacy from other bidders.

A comfortable leather chair awaited her, along with a small control panel for bidding access.

But she wasn't here to bid.

She was here to observe.

Settling into her seat, she closed her eyes briefly, focusing on her bond with Lucius.

Then—she called out to him.

"Master, I've arrived at the auction. I'm inside the private VIP room."

There was a brief pause.

Then—Lucius's calm voice echoed in her mind.

"I see."

Liora could almost picture his smirk as he continued.

"Wait a minute. We'll be teleporting there soon."

Liora's eyes opened slightly, a small grin forming on her lips.

"Heh… Figures. Master wouldn't miss this show for anything."

With that, she leaned back, arms crossed, watching the auction unfold.

The real event was about to begin.
