Although the explanation from the Icefoot Sea Lice King seemed improbable, after Alpha’s verification, Bai Qi believed it.

“You said earlier that the anomaly in Fatigue Bay started after a masked human landed here, correct?”

Bai Qi looked at the small island behind him and asked.

“That’s right, I’ve been trapped here for almost fifty years, that human has never shown up, but plenty of your kind have been trapped and died here.”

The Icefoot Sea Lice King nodded and confirmed.

“Trapped and killed a lot of humans? This beach seems too clean for that.”

Bai Qi looked around, he could not see any signs of human activity, not even a corpse.

And thinking back, even when Husky and the others were searching for treasures, they didn’t see any human or transcendent creature’s remains in the ship.

Hearing this, Ming Dian was worried. They’d been here before, but they’d only ever explored around the bay and never landed on the island.

Bai Qi explained, “Nicholas, can you sense anything strange?”

“Strange? This whole island feels strange to me.”

Nicholas shook his head, saying, “I don’t know why, but the whole island is filled with an atmosphere that makes me uncomfortable.”
