Fast, incredibly fast.
The audience hadn’t expected the match to end so quickly, especially in such a one-sided fashion.
For a moment, the school leaders and students from the top three districts showed various expressions.
Low whispers filled the stands.
"Why does it feel like there's such a huge gap between Lavina and this student from Sainan High?"
"Lavina specializes in coordination, after all. From the start, she focused too much on the aesthetics of the battle, which isn't very suitable for team combat."
Lavina was well-known among high school students at this stage. She had just won second place in the global high school coordination tournament, her pet beast training was nearly perfect, and she was beautiful. To put it bluntly, in this circle, she was practically a goddess.
Because she lost, many people naturally viewed the situation from her perspective."The opponent's two pet beasts had clean and decisive movements, without focusing too much on skill control or aesthetics. It's clear they specialize in beast combat. Plus, both are high-level pet beasts, it's normal for Lavina not to be a match."
"It’s not surprising that Lavina lost. I just feel like she lost a bit too quickly."
"That’s just how it is. You can’t expect a coordinator to last 300 rounds against a professional beast master of the same level."
"Exactly. Look at that girl from Sainan High, her star formation is orange-yellow, which means her brain domain has broken through 30%. Even without considering her pet beasts, her commands alone resemble those of experienced professional beast masters. It's impossible to predict her moves based on her instructions alone. Like just now, she clearly said to take down the Dream Spirit first, but her two pet beasts attacked both the Dream Spirit and the Four Seasons Spirit simultaneously."
"And that Fire Fang move from her fire-type pet beast, it reached the Ultimate level. The Four Seasons Spirit reacted quickly, but even with Mirror Coat, it couldn’t block the attack."
"Oh, poor Lavina. She just stepped into the arena and ran into such a terrifying opponent."
The group from Mank Academy didn’t look too pleased.
Even though it was just a friendly match, being utterly crushed like this was a huge blow.
On the other hand, the team from Sainan High was all smiles, shocked but elated.@@novelbin@@
Qiao Sang had truly brought glory to their school. People might talk about friendship first, exchange first, but deep down, everyone wanted to win.
Sometimes, winning was exactly what drew people in for further exchanges.
Like now, the blond man standing behind Magee patted him on the shoulder.
Magee turned around.
The blond man offered a friendly smile.
"Are you a teacher from Sainan High? I'm a teacher from Caron High in 2nd District. Once the competition is over, would you have time to tour Sahel Academy with me?" Ṟ𝘈ΝօBÊ𝐬
Magee smiled back.
"It would be my pleasure."

When the morning exchange matches ended, Alva led them on a tour of Sahel Academy, explaining things as they walked.
Several people from other schools joined them.
Qiao Sang wasn’t sure if it was just her imagination, but Alva seemed much more enthusiastic than before.
"Qiao Sang."
As Alva was introducing a building, a clear voice rang out.
Qiao Sang turned her head and saw, beneath a nearby oak tree, a blonde-haired, blue-eyed girl with a graceful figure, dressed in a blue-and-white school uniform, waving at her.
It was none other than Lavina, her opponent from the earlier friendly match.
Qiao Sang pointed at herself silently.
Lavina smiled and nodded.
Qiao Sang walked over and asked, "Is there something you need?"
Lavina seemed completely unaffected by her loss.
Smiling, she said, "I have a favor to ask."
Qiao Sang responded cautiously, "Let’s hear it first."
"That pet beast of yours, the one called Blazing Star Canine, when you return to Blue Star, could you send me one of its initial forms? Or maybe an egg of its species?" Lavina asked with a smile.
"I looked it up, and I think it’s called Fire Fang Dog."
By now, nearly everyone at the exchange had heard that Qiao Sang was a transfer student from Blue Star. Lavina didn’t even need to ask around.
After speaking, she glanced at the little beast in Qiao Sang’s arms, Yabao, and continued, "I really like that pet beast. I recently unlocked the third page of my Beast master Codex, but I still haven't formed a contract with a third pet. Now, I think I've found the one I want."
In terms of appearance, Lavina actually preferred Ice Xilu.
Unfortunately, after looking it up, she discovered it was an endangered species. She immediately gave up on the idea.
An endangered pet from Chaosu Star? She had no chance of contracting one, let alone a pet from another planet.
Qiao Sang was momentarily stunned, she hadn't expected Lavina's request to be cross-planet transportation of a pet beast.
In this interstellar era, industries specializing in transporting goods between planets certainly existed, but transporting pet beasts across planets was extremely rare.
First, it cost a fortune, and the procedures were complicated.
Second, on a foreign planet, there would be no experienced trainers familiar with the pet’s habits. If something went wrong, there’d be no one to consult.
Moreover, different planets had different environments. A pet beast that thrived on one planet might not adapt well to another.
Qiao Sang glanced around.
All the pet beasts she saw were calmly walking or engaged in various activities, looking perfectly domesticated.
After a moment of silence, Qiao Sang tactfully declined. "Fire Fang Dogs probably wouldn’t adapt well to life on Chaosu Star."
Lavina chuckled.
"That’s not a problem. Whatever environment it likes, I can create it. I heard that some fire-type pet beasts on Blue Star prefer to stay in high-temperature areas all year round, I can ensure it has that environment every day."
So she planned to use money to solve the problem...
Qiao Sang refused again.
"I won’t return to Blue Star for another year."
In other words: Don’t wait, just contract another pet.
Lavina, unfazed, said nonchalantly, "That’s fine. I can wait a year. I want every pet I contract to be one I truly like."
High-appearance pet beasts had an irresistible appeal to her. With Blazing Star Canine's looks, she didn’t mind waiting.
She’s serious…
Qiao Sang thought for a moment before saying, "Since you did your research, you should know that Blazing Star Canine evolves from Flame Hound, which, in turn, evolves from Fire Fang Dog. However, the conditions for evolving into Flame Hound haven’t been discovered yet. If you contract a Fire Fang Dog, there’s no guarantee it will evolve into Flame Hound. Think it through carefully."
Lavina froze, she didn’t know that!
Seeing her hesitate, Qiao Sang said indifferently, "Come find me when you've made up your mind."
With that, she turned and left.
After her match, Hulis and the others had filled her in on Lavina’s background.
She had recently won second place in the global high school coordination tournament. If nothing unexpected happened, she would become a rising star in the coordination field.
There were even interstellar coordination tournaments. If Lavina made a name for herself, the Fire Fang Dog she contracted would gain widespread recognition. That alone could elevate the entire species' status.
This wasn’t uncommon, many pet beasts contracted by star-level Beast masters became highly sought after across all four planets, with their species thoroughly studied and imported for contracts.
The pet’s value and status would skyrocket, and it could even boost the economy of its home planet. A huge deal.
If Lavina’s character was sound and she understood what this meant, Qiao Sang wouldn’t mind sending her a Fire Fang Dog.
After all, Lavina came from an elite background, any pet following her would live comfortably. Training might be tough, but food and care wouldn’t be an issue.
And if Lavina made it big, promoting Fire Fang Dogs… Her mother's pet breeding store might even expand into a whole chain of shops!
Just as Qiao Sang was envisioning a bright future, Gangbao, who had been quietly standing by, suddenly darted to the side.
A viscous substance fell from above, landing exactly where it had been standing.
The moment it hit the ground, white smoke rose from the surface.
What do you think?
