Chapter 3414 - The Statue
Chapter 3414 - The Statue
After exterminating the Yumo reverends, Tianming released a large amount of Yin Chens and rushed into the depths of the passage. As long as Yin Chen was around, he would know whatever was happening.
At the moment, what intrigued him the most was what exactly this metal planet he had released was.
Yin Chen had already found the location of the seventh-level foundationeer, Reverend Xiugui. The three reverends were all major enemies of Tianming’s and had to be exterminated. Moreover, they all contained a significant amount of starblood.
Reverend Xiugui was still in the passage. He didn’t dare go too deep alone, and when he heard the sounds of fighting, he was startled and immediately headed toward the exit.
That was how Tianming directly collided with the short and ugly Reverend Xiugui.
Qitian Muchen is still at the sixth level, but this guy’s at the seventh. I can’t be careless! Tianming thought. A seventh-level powerhouse who had trained for thousands of years was a seasoned veteran, and all of them were top experts in Myriadpath Valley.
“Who are you?” Reverend Xiugui didn’t immediately recognize the purple mist around Tianming. But as soon as he uttered the words, his expression drastically changed!
“The Mistrunner!” he shouted and hastily underwent his skyghoul transformation, becoming a fierce, hellish demon.
“Die!” Tianming charged forward, immediately unleashing his most powerful skills. Xia words pressed down on Reverend Xiugui, while Vitasteal and his lifebound beasts’ divine abilities soon followed. Then Tianming struck out with the Greatsun Suishen Art!
A terrifying sword beam pierced forward through the narrow passage. Reverend Xiugui didn’t even have time to dodge and was struck head-on by the powerful blow, which shattered his body, leaving only half of his torso and part of his head!
The reverend let out a scream, his eyes red with fury. He looked down at the dense purple characters on his body, which still seemed familiar to him although they were veiled in mist. “You’re—”
Before he could finish speaking, Tianming’s next sword came slicing down, annihilating his body. His remnant soul and cosmic charts still tried fleeing.
“Turn around and see my face,” Tianming coldly said.
Reverend Xiugui turned his head in horror. When he saw the face beneath the purple mask, he was completely dumbfounded, even forgetting to run. Even his cosmic charts froze in the midst of their escape.
“Li, Li...” Reverend Xiugui stammered. Just as his soul reached the depths of despair, Tianming’s sword extinguished him.
Another House Yumo specter had fallen and countless wronged had been freed from their torment.
After the kill, Tianming remained silent, holding his black-and-gold sword as he pressed on deeper into the passage like a god of death. He had no idea where Yumo Fuyun and Reverend Qiyao had gone.
He took out the flower—it was still guiding him, pointing him forward.
“Let’s go!” Tianming and the waves of Yin Chen moved deeper in.
At the same time, Yin Chen warned, “Two eminents... will soon... pass by.... Finish quickly!”
“Two eminents? Who?”
“Yu Nu! Yumo Qiangming!”
“Yumo Qiangming?” Tianming knew that this person was currently number one on the Maniverse Ranking and Yumo Xue’s elder brother. At under 2000 years old, he was an eminent and of the bloodfiend variant of skyghouls. He was a ninth-level foundationeer and much stronger than Suishen Yue!
He was an extremely dangerous person.
Tianming didn’t say more, increasing his speed as he charged inward. The black-and-white flower in his hand faintly glowed, like a sunflower guiding him forward. In front of him, the passage branched into several paths, but he didn’t hesitate to follow wherever the flower pointed.
Yin Chen, however, was different. The deeper it went into the metal planet, the weaker the yin-yang essence storm became, allowing Yin Chen to divide itself even further. Its army of silver bugs swarmed wherever there was a path; its mission was to figure out what exactly this massive metal planet was!
Tianming had released fifty billion Yin Chens, which could further split into over five trillion invisible cockroaches. They rushed through the branches and passageways like a tide, hungrily absorbing the information of the strange place. However, it wasn’t as fast as Tianming’s Fiveway Blitzrun, so it would take quite a while for it to spread throughout the metal planet.
The further Tianming went, the brighter the black-and-white flower in his hand glowed, even beginning to slightly shake. “The place it’s guiding me to should be nearby,” he muttered.
He faintly heard strange sounds coming from the end of the passage ahead.
“What kind of noise is that?” Tianming blushed as he listened. He thought he must have heard wrong, but when he emerged into a sealed, dark hall, he was shocked to see two people there in the midst of an unspeakable struggle!
The scene was extremely intense and very much not family-friendly. There were specters with powerful bodies, and to Tianming’s dismay, they had both undergone their skyghoul transformations into nearly ten-meter-tall bodies.
The entire hall echoed with the sounds of crashing, rumbling, and shouting.
Their bodies were covered in scales and spikes and their faces were ferocious visages to behold. If one didn’t look closely, the demons from hell seemed as if they were in a life-or-death battle. There wasn’t any beauty in the scene, only an eerie intensity that made Tianming want to gouge out his eyes.
These must be Major Pathkeeper Yumo Fuyun and Reverend Qiyao! In their normal forms, Yumo Fuyun was tall, cold, and stern, while Reverend Qiyao was bewitching and alluring, much like Yumo Hongyu.
But now, Tianming couldn’t bear to watch.
Are they insane? They came here to hunt for treasure, but now they’re... celebrating? Tianming squinted and realized something was wrong with their eyes. Yumo Fuyun’s eyes were glowing with black light, while Reverend Qiyao’s eyes shone with white light. Their bodies were also shrouded, one in black light and the other in white.
They must’ve been controlled by something to be acting like this. Tianming thought of the black-and-white flower in his hand. Just then, it flew forward. Looking up, he noticed a massive statue at the far end of the hall.
What do you think?
