Chapter Seventy
|| Ultimate Skill: [Nyarlathotep] – The Seeping Chaos ||
• Presence of the Crawling Chaos - A constant eldritch aura weakens enemy resistances, inducing fear and hallucinations in weaker foes. All hostile entities are marked with Hex, reducing their stats by 5% per stack (up to 15 stacks).
• Abyssal Dominion - The user commands Predator Devils, shadow-born entities with independent stats. They act autonomously but obey absolutely. Their attacks inflict Seeping Corruption, breaking defenses and eroding magic. Consumed foes gradually lose individuality, becoming extensions of the user.
• Chaos Maw - The user can unleash Hydra-like Predator Devils from their palm, their shifting maws consuming all in their path. Corruption Maw dissolves inorganic matter, breaking armor and constructs. Fully devoured entities are reduced to magicules for the user’s recovery or reinforcement.
• Pandemonium – Twin Oni of Havoc - Calls forth Aka-Oni (Red Oni of War) and Ao-Oni (Blue Oni of Calamity) for an extended duration.
• Blacklight Dominion (Passive) - All summoned entities (Predator Devils, Hydras, Oni) receive +150% to all stats and gain near-total resistance to magic interference.
All monster subordinates receive +15% to all stats and gain magic resistance.
The user’s absolute command over their entities prevents external forces from seizing control.
• Apotheosis - Atrocity - By manifesting their true eldritch essence, the user transcends mortal limitations, becoming a Being of Seeping Chaos for a limited duration.
Effects -
Primordial Chaos - The user takes on the malevolent form of a Primordial.
Stat Enhancement - Increases all attributes by 5000% during transformation. Decreases defense by 500%
Voidborn Regeneration - Restores 20% HP & MP per second while active.
Terror Beyond Comprehension - Weak-willed enemies may suffer instant insanity, paralysis, or death upon direct eye contact.
Reality-Breaking Blows - Strikes ignore physical durability and weaken conceptual defenses.
This subskill can only be activated once per battle.

SKRRREEEUUUUUUAARRH!
A deafening shriek tore through the void, shaking the very fabric of the Gap. Cracks splintered across the endless darkness, distorting space and time itself.
Violet crashed back-first through a stone pillar, pain jolting through her body. She barely had a moment to recover before instinct took over. Twisting midair, she kicked off a chunk of debris and landed on another floating structure, her breath ragged.
"What the hell just happened?!" she shouted, eyes locked onto the distant, shrieking figure.
The space around her darkened. Her instincts flared, danger. Without hesitation, she shot away just as a massive black appendage smashed through the pillar where she had stood, obliterating it.
Violet watched as the appendage receded, then her gaze moved to the 'owner' of the appendage. The massive humanoid... 'thing' with tentacles... Everywhere.
The creature was a grotesque, towering mass of flesh and writhing tendrils. Where its hair should have been, countless tentacles coiled and twisted, their movements eerily synchronized. Each of its four massive arms was bound by equally massive tentacles, constricting like living restraints. Its legs, thick as ancient tree trunks, anchored it to the void, with enormous tendrils burrowing deep into the ground.
Violet's instincts flared again. Without hesitation, bat-like wings tore free from her back, propelling her into the air just as a colossal tentacle obliterated the pillar she had stood on moments before.
Her eyes darted to the growing rifts in the void. More tears were forming, jagged wounds in space from which yet more tentacles emerged.
"No… it’s not just the ground," she murmured, a chill creeping up her spine. "It's digging into the Gap itself."
Before she could react, six enormous tentacles surged toward her, each one warping the space around it as it moved, faster than light itself.
Time slowed.
Violet grinned.
CRASH!
The air popped as all six tentacles struck at once, converging on her location with unstoppable force.
"{NUCLEAR FLAME}!!"
For a moment, nothing moved. The massive tendrils, wrapped tightly around one another, held still, until their blackened flesh began to glow. First, an eerie orange hue. Then, an intense white-hot radiance.
BOOM!
A blinding purple explosion erupted from the center, devouring the entangled tentacles as it expanded. The searing blast swelled outward, its color shifting from deep violet to pure white before detonating once more in a fiery eruption, scattering remnants of the void-born appendages into oblivion.
From the smoke, Violet shot forward, her grin wild with exhilaration. "You're gonna need more than that if you're going to..." Her words caught in her throat as her eyes locked onto pure devastation.
In the brief moment it had taken her to escape the explosion, the primordial chaos had already appeared in her path. Its grotesque, misshapen face bore a twisted excuse for a mouth, a jagged tear in reality itself. Within that gaping maw, a massive red sphere churned violently, its surface writhing like molten chaos. It was larger than Violet herself, pulsing with raw, unbridled power.
[Reality Breaking Blow]
Her instincts screamed. Without hesitation, she activated [Spatial Motion], pushing her limits to the breaking point. In a blink, she reappeared several feet away, narrowly avoiding annihilation.
KRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
The Gap itself howled in agony. The massive sphere of warping destruction surged forward, carving through space, leaving behind fractures like shattered glass as the very fabric of the void buckled under its force.
Violet's gaze followed the path of destruction, a nervous laugh slipping from her lips. "I'm starting to see why Guy got rid of you lot back then. This is just ridiculous." She turned her attention back to the towering figure before her. "The Primordial Chaos… That would make you Caos, huh?"
As if her words had triggered something, the massive creature froze. Its grotesque form twitched at impossible angles, spasming erratically before a crimson light pulsed around it. The very air warped with the sheer intensity of its transformation, the enormous being beginning to shrink.
When the red glow finally dimmed, a new figure stood in its place.
Caos was tall, her long hair billowing behind her like a living tapestry of shifting hues, with red the most dominant among them. The strands shimmered, reflecting an eerie iridescence, as though woven from the essence of chaos itself.
Her eyes burned with unfathomable intensity, each iris shifting between colors, never settling on one shade for long. A confident smirk curled at her lips, exuding an air of playful menace.
She wore a suit of black armor that pulsed with an unnatural glow, an ever-shifting rainbow of colors flickering across its surface. The armor clung to her form like liquid metal, seamlessly adjusting with each subtle movement, as though it were alive. Jagged crimson etchings adorned its surface, glowing faintly with an ominous light.
Her presence was overwhelming, a force of nature incarnate, radiating an aura that made the very air around her feel unstable. Even standing still, she felt like she could unravel reality itself with a mere gesture.
Caos tilted her head slightly, her smirk widening. "Hmm… Caos. A name befitting this form." Her voice was rich, layered, as if multiple voices spoke in harmony. "Yes, Caos, I like it. Now then… let’s finish what we started, Viole."

CLANG!
"Gah!" Lacua crashed into the ground, blood splattering from the deep gash carved across his chest.
The once-mighty Archdemon was now a pitiful sight. His right arm was gone, his legs severed, leaving him to drag himself forward with his remaining limb. Each movement was sluggish, his strength fading with every breath. "D...Damn you," he rasped, voice thick with pain and defiance.
Behind him, Kaori approached with slow, deliberate steps, each footfall ringing out like the toll of a funeral bell. Her presence loomed over him, a silent harbinger of his inevitable end.
"You don’t realize what you’ve done." Lacua’s voice was hoarse, filled with pain and fury. "Opposing My Lady’s plan… When she learns of this, there will be no place safe for you to hide." He wheezed, flipping onto his back, his breath ragged.
Kaori merely smiled, stepping forward and pressing a foot against his chest. Her blade gleamed as she brought it to his throat, the cold steel biting into his skin.
Lacua grinned through the pain, his teeth stained with blood. With a sudden, desperate motion, he crushed two cursed orbs between his teeth. "I’ll take you with me!" he spat, his voice twisted with glee. "My death is meaningless! Chikowan will summon me again, while you’ll be nothing but a pile of ash. {Nuclear Flame}!!"
A surge of demonic magic erupted within him. His body swelled grotesquely, white-hot light seeping from every pore as unstable energy crackled in the air.
Kaori remained unfazed. Her expression turned impassive, her glowing blue eyes locking onto Lacua’s as the surrounding space warped under the overwhelming energy. Rocks and debris lifted into the air, suspended by the sheer force of his impending detonation.
Then...
BOOM!
A massive sphere of white-hot destruction erupted, expanding outward with devastating force. The lake trembled, its waters rising violently as the explosion grew.
[Arc]
The explosion froze mid-detonation, suddenly enveloped by a larger sphere, a celestial construct formed of countless burning white stars, each radiating raw {Disintegration}.
The raging sphere of destruction shrank as the stars devoured it from all sides, eroding it down to nothing.
When the last remnants of energy vanished, so too did the starry sphere.
Lacua’s eyes widened in horror, his body trembling. "Y-You’re…"
"You seem to be under a misunderstanding."
Kaori’s voice echoed around him as she descended, her golden hair floating weightlessly. Her large wings unfurled, radiating divine brilliance. Her glowing blue eyes held nothing but cold amusement.
[Royal Apostle]
She had assumed her true form.
"An… angel?" Lacua finished in a whisper, dread sinking into his bones. His very skin recoiled from her presence, an instinctual fear embedded deep in his demonic nature.
"Angels and demons, a tale as old as time." Kaori’s lips curled into a slow, predatory smirk. "Unfortunately for you, your life isn’t significant enough for me to ignore the nature of our existence. And of course… my own."
Her hand lifted, glowing with divine energy.
"You won’t be returning to the Demon Realm, only to be summoned again," she continued, her voice laced with cruel amusement. "No, this is the end for you. You won’t even leave a trace behind."
For the first time, Lacua felt true terror.
"I almost pity you," Kaori mused, her tone mockingly soft. "To be erased without ever understanding the
force that destroyed you."
[Arc]
Lacua’s scream barely lasted a second before he ceased to exist, body, mind, and soul completely erased from reality.
What do you think?
