Broken Possessors of Infinite Regression Academy

To put it simply, my impression of the birthday celebration was this: when money, magic, and power meet purpose and enthusiasm, there is nothing in this world that cannot be achieved.

Money was abundant beyond words. The greatest mages and the Mage Association fully supported the event, and with the Crown Princess, the Chairman, the Hero, and the Saint all involved, there was no shortage of power.

When these three elements combined with the fact that this was my first publicly celebrated birthday and with the Crate family’s overwhelming enthusiasm, the result felt like an unstoppable juggernaut.

“Your statue. It’s made of solid gold.”

Upon arriving at the estate, after a subtle remark from the emperor, I was immediately presented with a 4.5-meter-tall statue of myself made entirely of 100% pure gold from my father. The statue was intended to stand at the entrance of the Crate family estate.

My mother’s gift? An abundance of jewels, enough to practically drape around the 4.5-meter statue. If you converted the value of these gifts to money, it would probably surpass the fortune of an average baron’s household.

Not only was the statue enchanted, but the permission to erect a golden statue, which was a privilege reserved only for the imperial family, was itself priceless.

“Thank you, Father, Mother. This is a wonderful gift—”

I was about to give my thanks, as this was something I could barely accept, but my mother gently interrupted me with a laugh and a light tap on my arm.

“Oh, my dear, what are you saying? Did you think we’d settle for just this as your birthday gift?”

“…Excuse me?”

But that was only the beginning.

I was promptly dragged into the first banquet hall, where I was met with an overwhelming mountain of gifts that my parents had prepared for me. The golden statue was merely the start; what followed was truly astonishing.
