After Nika and I calmly adjusted our clothing, the Sword Saint cleared his throat with an exaggerated cough, seemingly trying to dispel the excited atmosphere and lingering scent in the room.

"…I know all about your relationship, so I won’t stop you, but it would be nice if you could keep it in check within the palace. Or perhaps find a more secluded place?"

I thought I should be thankful that he wasn’t outright telling us to stop. I was about to give a suitable reply when Nika interjected with a mischievous grin.

"But people eat in the palace too, don’t they? Feeding for a succubus is the same as a meal for humans. Are you saying I shouldn’t even eat in the palace? Isn’t that a bit too harsh?"

She was blatantly spouting nonsense. She was fearless, both here and on Earth. Here, she was the Succubus Queen and Demon Lord, while on Earth, she was the boss of Hunter Kang Ra-hye.

"A human’s meal is different from a succubus’s feeding. I’d rather not have that misunderstanding."
