The one-eyed old man, paused for a breath before tossing the black wooden box into Das's hands. Das regarded the box with a sense of intrigue, his fingers running over its surface, tracing the contours of its surface.

After a quick thought, Das activated his special vision, a power that allowed him to perceive hidden truths. As his vision shifted, he looked into the contents of the box. But he instinctively took a step back in the next moment. His hands withdrew from the box with a sense of perplexity and caution, his eyes wide with realisation.

"What the heck! Why did this old guy bring a king cobra here." Das thought while controlling his racing heart.

Inside the black box, poised and ready to strike, lay a regal "king cobra," its sinuous form coiled, its deadly gaze fixed upon him. The creature was a potent symbol of danger and venom.

The king cobra within the box was not just a physical threat but a metaphorical challenge, a reminder that in the world of warriors, danger could emerge from the most unexpected places. As he stood before the box, Das knew that the true test had just begun. It was a trial not only of his physical abilities but of his mental fortitude and ability to confront the unexpected.

The one-eyed old man quickly deduced that Das had already discerned the nature of the contents within the box. His expression remained unyielding, a testament to his expectations of Das.

"Why are you staring at it like that?" the old man questioned, his voice unwavering. "Open the box and subdue it."

He leaned forward, his one good eye fixed on Das with a keen intensity. The old man's wisdom went beyond the physical aspects of combat; he recognized the significance of mental fortitude and the ability to remain composed in the face of the bizarre and unexpected.

"Even though I've given you ample training," the old man continued, releasing a swirl of white smoke from his cigar, "your natural instincts and the ability to maintain a cool head in bizarre situations will ultimately determine the depth of your capabilities. Do not waste my time; do it faster."

As Das placed the black box on the ground, he took a moment to center his emotions and steel his resolve.

With a hand that betrayed no tremor, Das unlocked the door of the black box. The box swung open like a gate to the unknown. In an instant, the silence was shattered as a sinister hiss filled the air.

"Shhh..."

With a speed that defied its serpentine form, a twelve-foot king cobra shot out from the confines of the box. Its venomous eyes locked onto Das, its intent clear. The cobra moved like an arrow, its lethal fangs bared and ready to strike.

But Das was ready. His senses honed by years of training; he had anticipated the cobra's lightning-quick movement. With a single, calculated step back, he withdrew from the serpent's striking range. He stood tall and unwavering before the formidable creature, his eyes locked onto its cold, unrelenting gaze.

In the tense silence of their standoff, Das and the king cobra stood opposite to each other. While the serpent's initial aggression was unmistakable, it soon became evident that it had no intention of attacking unless provoked. King cobras, known for their typically reserved nature, avoided conflict with humans whenever possible.

Das made a conscious effort to control his racing heart, his breath slowly steadying as he maintained his unwavering gaze upon the king cobra. It was a test not just of physical composure but of inner fortitude.@@novelbin@@

The serpent, as if sensing the change in the atmosphere, raised its head before him, its hooded neck flaring out like a majestic crown. In that moment, it stood tall, its form akin to that of a proud guardian, its hooded gaze fixed upon Das.

Neither aggressor nor prey, they faced each other in a delicate dance, just inches apart. Das remained utterly still, his instincts and training guiding him not to make any sudden movements or attempts to subdue the snake manually. He knew that such actions could provoke a potentially deadly response.

Time seemed to stretch as they locked eyes, the seconds feeling like an eternity. The standoff continued, he waited for the right moment, understanding that the delicate balance of this encounter would eventually shift in his favour.

In the midst of their protracted exchange, Das's decision to take the lead in subduing the king cobra weighed heavily on his mind.

As he made the choice to act, a peculiar sensation washed over him. The king cobra, which had initially exuded an aura of menace, seemed to recognize something familiar in Das. Its movements shifted from aggression to something more akin to curiosity and recognition.

With a slow, deliberate grace, the serpent began to coil itself around Das's outstretched hand. The old man, watching with a serious and penetrating gaze.

As the cobra continued to encircle him, Das couldn't help but wonder about the effect of the Snow Python spirit inside his body. But it would take a long time for him to understand the real reason behind the subdued behaviour of King Cobra.

The one-eyed old man regarded Das with a mixture of astonishment and admiration. Das's actions had exceeded the old man's expectations, leaving him genuinely surprised. With a heavy heart and a sense of reverence, he spoke to Das.

"I thought it would be a big test for you. But you gave me a huge surprise. Das, out of all the people I have seen in my life, you are the most mysterious one. Your ordinary behavior always leaves me wondering about the depth of power in your hands."

He paused for a moment, his one good eye reflecting a complex mix of emotions. "My part is done here. From now on, it all depends on your dedication and effort."

As the old man began to turn away, Das couldn't help but speak up, remembering the promise that had been made at the beginning of their training.

"Wait... you are forgetting to ask me something," Das interjected, his tone respectful. "You said you would ask for something on the last day."

The old man halted in his stride, and though he didn't turn to face Das, his presence carried a weight of wisdom and experience. He pondered for a moment before speaking, his words carrying the weight of a lifetime.

"Hmmhh... what could this old man ask for in this age?" he mused aloud, a touch of vulnerability in his voice. "All my worries are for my grand-daughter. Please take good care of her, if possible. She is raised with a golden spoon, adjusting by your side, in this place, is a big task for her."

As he spoke, the old man's gaze shifted towards Serena, who stood at a distance, her presence a reminder of the complexities of their world. His request was a testament to his love and concern for her well-being, a plea for Das to offer her guidance and support in the challenges that lay ahead.

Das nodded solemnly, understanding the gravity of the request, and the old man continued on his way, leaving behind a legacy of teachings and an unspoken understanding that transcended words.

As the one-eyed old man and his students departed, the once-bustling training grounds fell into a quiet solitude. The remnants of their rigorous training, the scattered weapons and equipment, were swiftly packed away. Das, however, remained alone in this vast arena, his thoughts cascading like water over rocks.

The king cobra, still bound to his hand with its coils and part of its serpentine form draped across his back.

Amidst the echoes of past teachings and the weight of future uncertainties, Das found clarity in his purpose. His thought were running crazily as he is thinking of a plan to deal with the Farus family young master in Delhi. The urgency of Natalia's predicament and the looming threat posed by the Farus family's young master left him with no room for hesitation.

"I think it's time to start the smoke." Das muttered after thinking of a plan to save the Natalia. He finally decided to put his ultimate goal into action. Das decided to put an end to the honeymoon period of Farus family and Aries family in India.

While thinking of necessary actions, Das began moving towards palace. With every step he took toward the palace, the cobra remained with him, its emerald scales glistening in the sunlight.

The palace grounds seemed to hold their breath as Das walked on, his presence commanding a respectful distance from the ladies who observed from afar. Their curious and cautious gazes were drawn not just to the enigmatic man but to the deadly serpent coiled around him.

Das serpent in left hand, Das picked up the satellite phone in the hall specially arranged for his communication with the shadow clan and skull organisation.
