Chapter 16: Chapter 16 Get Out, You Too

On Dragon Boat Festival, Mengmeng’s mom was still at the film set revising scripts and couldn’t make it back, so she entrusted the task of giving Mengmeng a mugwort bath, applying realgar, and helping her wear a scented sachet and tie a colorful rope to Luo Dad, who had the day off. Mengmeng didn’t want any man other than her husband to bathe her anyway, so she clapped her little hands and ran from Luo Dad to the wardrobe, then with her little bottom sticking out, she fished out her change of clothes and happily trotted off to Gu Zhihan’s house, hugging her clothes.

Luo Dad, who continued working on his designs, didn’t realize he had been disliked by his daughter.

“Godmom, my dad said I should come to your place for a mugwort bath!”

Mengmeng charged into Gu Zhihan’s house, panting, with her large, round eyes searching everywhere for Gu Zhihan. After looking around and not finding him, she frowned and asked, “Eh, Godmom, where’s my husband?”

“Hanhan just went to take a bath.” Gu Mom bent down, patted her little head, and then took her small hand to walk towards the bathroom. “Perfect, the two of you can bathe together.”

It would save her the trouble of boiling mugwort again.

“Awesome, I can take a mandarin duck bath with my husband!” Mengmeng’s eyes sparkled with excitement, she was nearly floating with joy.

They knew he was bathing and still barged in!

“Luo Mengmeng, you get out too!”

Gu Zhihan was about to heave a sigh of relief when he saw Mengmeng still there, and she was even starting to undress in front of him, giving him a rather unpleasant feeling.

“I’m not going out, I want to bathe with you!” As Mengmeng spoke, her little hands swiftly peeled off her flowered dress and her bare little body went “plop” as she jumped into the tub with him.

Gu Zhihan, splashed in the face, frowned, shook his wet hair, and grabbed the little girl to throw her out of the tub, “Who said I want to bathe with you, get out.”

“I won’t, I won’t, I’m not going anywhere!” Mengmeng flailed in the tub, her arms tightly wrapped around his waist, refusing to let go, “Your mom agreed I could bathe with you!”
