Chapter 27: Chapter 27: Graduation Ceremony

After coming back from the farmhouse’s vineyard, there came the dull learning activities at kindergarten.

Perhaps because it was their last year in kindergarten, time seemed to fly unusually fast. Before they knew it, graduation had arrived. Even Luo Mengmeng, who felt like each day in kindergarten lasted an eternity, felt this way.

After he finished, another child took the stage, and one after another, they regurgitated identical graduation speeches before sharing their dreams.

They shouted their dreams loudly, as if saying them out loud could make them come true!

As one child after another finished, it finally came to be Mengmeng’s turn.

“Mengmeng, it’s your turn,” Mrs. Tao reminded her.

“Then I’m going up now!” said Mengmeng, immediately striding onto the stage with her little short legs. She took the microphone from the host, looked down at Gu Zhihan who was in line, and hesitated to speak.

Gu Zhihan just looked up, his aloof gaze meeting the little girl’s sparkling eyes.

Somehow, he got an uneasy feeling from this.

Sure enough… the next second, he heard—

“Hello everyone, my name is Luo Mengmeng. My future dream is to marry my husband Gu Zhihan and become his rightful wife!” Mengmeng skipped the graduation speech and directly declared her dream.

The childish voice was amplified by the microphone and clearly reached every corner of the kindergarten.
