Chapter 846: 264. Mira’s Dilemma_7
Once she was away from Subsea No.13, affected by the “Deep Sea Banishment Spell”, she should be able to open the Teleportation Gate.
“Continue forward, Mira. In the next-door Subsea Area No.14, try to open the Teleportation Gate again. I will be watching over you all the way until you successfully leave through the Teleportation Gate, I hope you don’t mind,” Noland Lee said using “Mind Induction”.
“Thank you, Sir, I don’t mind that,” Mira Faar sincerely thanked him.
A sharp voice suddenly drifted from behind Mira Faar, interrupting her psychic conversation with Noland Lee.
“Mira! Faar! Miss! Where are you going? The banquet is not over yet!”
Sir Bower’s voice, filled with urgency and irritation, came from the Large Magic Machinery Ship:
“Stop! Miss! The banquet is not over, you cannot leave yet!”
From the portholes of the ship, curious heads popped out, emitting trails of cigarette smoke as they watched Bower’s shouting and raging.
Spectators followed the direction Bower was pointing to and noticed a fiery-red figure moving farther and farther away on the sea surface.
“Sir Bower, Sir Bower, please mind your behavior, the guests are watching you…” Yorksim’s servants gathered around, restraining Bower who was gripping the railing.
“No! Let go of me!”
Bower had hardly finished speaking when a loud explosion erupted from Yorksim’s guest room!
“Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!”
Dark green dense fumes jetted out of the guest room, flooding into the corridor like a deluge.
Several passengers by the door of the guest room were caught off guard and were drenched in the foul-smelling fumes.
Initially, they screamed in shock, but soon, they howled in pain as they helplessly watched the fumes corrode their shields and penetrate their bodies.
“Ah…”
“Ah…”
Miserable cries echoed down the corridor, mingled with the eerie hissing of serpents.
The passengers contaminated with the dark green fumes writhed as their flesh mutated and scales grew wildly, transforming rapidly into sea monsters.@@novelbin@@
Mira Faar turned to look at the Large Magic Machinery Ship, saw the dark green fumes drifting from the ship, and heard the hissing of sea monsters.
“Is this Sea Monster Poison Bombs? Damn Bower, he actually ignited such a vile Magical Item.”
Mira Faar grumbled angrily in her mind.
Her anger and loathing were transmitted to Noland Lee’s mind through “Mind Induction”.
Noland Lee also noticed the situation on the ship.
He sighed softly and said,
“I regret what these family treasure hunting fleets are about to face. Selena has issued them a warning. But unfortunately, only the small and medium-sized wizard forces have heeded her suggestion and left the area early. I hope”
“Thank you again, Sir. If it weren’t for your warning, I might have been as panicked as them.”
Mira Faar turned to look back.
Many passengers cast the Flight Spell, leaving the Large Magic Machinery Ship and landing on other sailing ships nearby.
At the same time, the Demon Spirit Wizards guarding the Large Magic Machinery Ship also started working.
Invisible hurricanes swept through the corridor, whisking away all traces of Sea Monster Poison fumes, leaving the Large Magic Machinery Ship free of toxins.
But the commotion sparked by the poison bombs had just begun.
Yorksim’s fate was uncertain, and the identity of the bomb’s planter remained elusive.
Everyone’s attention was drawn to the unfolding events, with no one paying heed to the movements beneath the seawater or to Mira Faar, who was swiftly moving away from the ships.
Only Noland was maintaining the necessary vigilance, staring intently at the sea monsters below the water surface.
“Be careful, Mira, the sea monsters below are preparing to deal with you.”
Noland Lee abruptly cautioned.
Mira Faar’s delicate body stiffened for a fifth of a second as she assessed the situation and wisely abandoned the inflatable raft beneath her feet, taking off on the spot.
The moment she left the raft, more than a dozen sea serpent heads punched through the fragile raft’s floor like chisels, eagerly pursuing her and snapping at her feet, furiously jetting venom.
Mira Faar narrowly evaded the treacherous sea serpents.
She transformed into a dark red Molten Core, flying northward.
The sea serpents spat a trail of venomous arrows after her, which she dodged with her agile movements.
Seeing that they couldn’t stop the witch, the serpents hissed a few times in frustration before retreating back under the water, leaving behind only a badly leaking magic inflatable raft.
“Mind your flying speed; don’t exceed the Mist Threshold,” Noland Lee glanced at the situation below, and his tone became more serious as he said,
“Fly a bit higher if you can. Those sea monsters have been angered and are chasing you from beneath the water.”
“Sir, please help me,” Mira Faar earnestly requested.
“I will. You just keep flying ahead. I’ll provide cover when you’re opening the Teleportation Gate,” he replied.
“Thank you, Sir, I truly appreciate your help,” Mira Faar thanked him profusely.
Mmm~ not bad, I just raised Mira’s favorability towards me~ My timely help was perfect.
Noland Lee secretly chuckled to himself.
After being pleased with himself for half a second, he steadied his mind, focusing on the Dreadscale Priestesses in his magic vision.
Noland Lee wasn’t just deceiving Mira Faar,
there indeed was a group of Dreadscale Priestesses in the water below, earnestly pursuing her.
The group of priestesses was as excited as hunters on a chase, relentlessly following Mira just beneath the seawater.
What do you think?
