After drinking the spiritual spring water, Xie Zhinuan noticed something black emerging from Qin Mao’s body. She immediately took him out of the space.

“Someone, prepare hot water!” Xie Zhinuan called out.

Once out of the space, Qin Mao could tell the difference.

The sensation of suffocation returned but was much less severe than before, especially since his throat wasn’t as sore nor his mouth.

The door was pushed open, and Zhao Xiuya came tumbling in. Hearing that “auntie,” she felt as if she was dreaming, and yet it seemed real. She crawled to the bedside and saw Qin Mao’s body covered in black stains.
