Chapter 351 – Mei in charge

The Twins returned from their 'expedition'. Most Cultivators died by their tails and their Treasures were taken away.

The loot was of lower quality, but it was good enough for the team that if Aiko decided to distribute it to them later or if there would be some things they would use for themselves.

Yuxi and Wanshu observed Aiko helping around without wreaking havoc. It was a strange sight and they wondered if something happened to Aiko...

""Mistress."" After living for a long time with each other, they were now in perfect sync. Moreover, thanks to their hard work even the current Aiko would have trouble with their coordinated attacks!

"You are back~!" Aiko immediately reverted to her playful side, which startled the duo.

The Blood Fox could only shake her head.

"Yes, Mistress. We got Treasures." Yuxi smiled.

"Take whatever you want and I will take the rest. If there is something of high value that we can sell, keep it. The rest will go to Mei so that she can smelt them for materials or something..." Aiko knew from Fang Jia that Treasures or Artefacts can't be melted down all the way, since those different metals and materials would merge together to form a united blob of crap.

As such, recycling Cultivator stuff was incredibly difficult, if not impossible!

The precision and control required for the whole process is so sky-high that even Immortals don't recycle Treasures!

As such, Aiko decided to give those useless Treasures to Mei, so that she could pick and use the others as Qi-draining resources.

This way it was incredibly expensive to use, but since those Treasures would not have other uses, Aiko did not need to mind it all that much.

There was also a difference between Natural Treasures, Numinous Treasures and Inscription Treasures.

The weakest ones were Inscription Treasures, since you needed to write an incredibly elaborate Inscription that needed to be powered carefully by even more Inscriptions.

Meanwhile, Numinous Treasures, or Treasures recovered from Beasts, like those her new 'friends' parted with in order to appease Aiko are Numinous.

What that means is the one who crafted those Treasures used materials that naturally had those abilities to form their effects instead of Inscriptions. They are naturally more powerful, but also fragile, since the constant consumption weakens the materials.

The last one would be Natural Treasures and, oh boy, are they powerful.

Not only are they incredibly durable, but they almost never go out!

It was the perfect Treasure, but since there are too few of them, only Sect Leaders from medium sized or larger Sects could ever hope to own one.

And yes, you guessed it, Aiko had one such Treasure on her. She didn't use it since it was difficult to find anyone who could use it, but with Mei's and Fang Jia's help, it should be possible to incorporate it into the Cauldron!

"Mei~!" Aiko went back to Mei, since she now recovered a lot of her Moonlight Essence. That way she can turn into her Moon Form and discuss the Cauldron!

Aiko almost immediately turned into Moon Form so that she could discuss it with Mei.

"I need your help with the Cauldron." Moon Form Aiko said gently.

Mei was shocked by the change of demeanour, but what shocked her more was the beauty that Aiko exuded.

It was a lot different from that bewitching beauty that put her on guard. No, this kind of beauty she would be able to get behind!

Mei gently coughed with a light blush. "What do you wish to discuss?" She patted the bed. She was more open to approaching this kind of Aiko since she didn't feel as sinister.@@novelbin@@

"Did you review the [The Ever Shaping Cauldron]?" Aiko asked her gently.

"Yes, but it's too profound to be easily made." Mei sighed.

Aiko sat down next to Mei. "Yeah, I struggled a lot, but thanks to the system's constant reminders, I was able to create a fully functioning Cauldron."

Aiko placed that messy Cauldron on display again and Mei couldn't help but giggle at it.

"Please don't tease me..." Aiko murmured like she was embarrassed about her creation.

'Hm?' Mei blinked a few times. She didn't expect Aiko to be so shy about this. 'Her ears are red...' For some reason, Mei's heart skipped a beat and she really wanted to tease this cute Aiko more.

Mei observed the messy Cauldron while making a mental plan.

"There are a few mistakes that you made during the creation. I understand that the creation is different from creating a normal Cauldron, but these are beginner mistakes." Mei naturally wrapped her hand around Aiko, making her blush even more.

"The lower part you can gently spin around which will make the base more even. The same technique can be used to build up the walls, but you spin it more slowly. I know that your Divine Sense is not that precise, but there are other ways you can do this." Said Mei gently as she caressed Aiko's back.

"I see. Spinning would definitely help, but that would also make a hole in the middle." Aiko pointed out that part, but could not meet Mei's eyes for some reason.

"And that is perfect." Mei said bluntly.

"Huh?" Aiko turned towards Mei with surprise. "Why? Isn't that hole counterproductive?" She tilted her head.

Mei took Aiko's hand into her hand and caressed it. Aiko's body was stiff, unlike her 'normal' self.

"And where are you going to place the 'Core'?" Mei chuckled.

"Ah! Because we made a hole in advance, we don't have to tinker with it any more and we can use that to mould 'Core' into it!" Aiko immediately understood, which made Mei a bit uncomfortable.

Mei was not used to this overly smart Aiko. She used this opportunity to entangle her fingers with Aiko's.

"And with that, the perfect unity is reached without more tampering with it. That will also prevent many imperfections that would've been created from making a new hole into the cauldron." Mei said gently, observing Aiko's reactions.

"Mhm." Aiko nodded gently, but she was now blushing.

Just as Aiko wanted to run away, Mei wrapped her other hand around her waist and pulled her closer.

"W-what?" Aiko stuttered. She didn't know what to do about this kind of Mei, not to mention she really wanted to work on her Cauldron, but didn't know how to push away Mei gently without her misunderstanding.

"What~?" Mei teased the flustered Aiko. This was a lot different to what she expected, and Mei was not as much against this kind of Aiko.

"I-I still have work to do...!" Aiko squeezed out her voice.

"Hmhm." Mei hummed gently as she gently kissed Aiko on the top of her hand.

"I-I would like to work on the Cauldron." Aiko stuttered again.

Mei was for some reason obsessed with this shy Aiko. It was strange to see her like that without taking advantage of Mei.

She very much liked this side, since she was more mellow and... small.

Her body was not as intimidating as in her 'normal' Form. She was a lot more slender and... fragile. Mei loved this kind of body.

"And I will naturally help you." Mei's hand tightened her grip making Aiko gasp.

"I really w-want to work." Aiko was now completely red in her face.

For some unknown reason, Mei licked her lips as she slowly pushed Aiko on the bed.

"W-we shouldn't! I have work to do!" Aiko protested, but she didn't push Mei away. She really didn't know what kind of excuse to use for Mei to stop in her tracks.

The current Mei acted like a boulder rolling down the hill, wreaking havoc along the way.

"What should we do~?" Mei teased as she narrowed the space between them.

Their bodies were on top of each other, burning gently. Aiko was much colder than Mei, so she felt like she was being burned by something scorching hot, which made her quiver gently.

Their faces were so close that their breaths met in the middle.

Aiko's voice was stuck in her throat as her brain was trying to work overtime in order to come up with a solution for the current situation.

Mei found this type of Aiko amusing. She looked beautiful as her stardust eyelashes quivered.

Mei planted a gentle kiss on Aiko's forehead.

With each additional kiss, she moved lower down. Eyelashes, nose, cheeks, Mei slowly tasted each of them with her tender kisses.

Aiko was breathing irregularly from the sudden and unexpected attention.

Mei observed Aiko as she observed her.

There were no signs of rejection and struggle, just hesitation and insecurity.

"How about closing your eyes?" Mei said gently, but her voice sounded sharp.

Aiko immediately shook her head. In this form, her emotions and feelings were suppressed, but there was something boiling inside her, ready to burst, which scared her greatly.

Mei didn't press on. This kind of Aiko was too cute to bully too much and this 'session' also helped Mei understand herself better, so she didn't want to scare Aiko away completely.

She planted another kiss on Aiko's moist eyelashes. She was gently planting kiss after kiss, making sure to observe Aiko's expression and not push too far.

A light moan escaped Aiko's lips after the continuous, relentless assault.

Mei really wanted to play with Aiko's ears, but her reactions were already too intense.

Aiko shared a single gaze with her as Mei gently lowered her lips.

Aiko was still scared, but after tasting Mei's tenderness, she was not as scared as before.

Mei didn't push further, a simple and tender kiss was enough for now, but...

That fragile expression with moist eyes made her really want to do more. Mei had a hard time restraining herself.

She met her lips with Aiko's.

Aiko was not as proactive as in her 'normal' Form, so Mei was free to do as she pleased.

She gently bit Aiko's lower lip, which caused another gasp with a stifled moan to escape Aiko's throat.

Mei gently leaned onto Aiko as she rested on her body. This was enough for now. Aiko was squirming a bit too much too and if it continued like that Mei would definitely regret her next actions.

Mei also had a lot to think about. The most pressing matter was the fact that she didn't mind doing this kind of stuff with this kind of Aiko as much as the 'normal'.

Now don't get her wrong. She enjoyed both of their encounters, she just enjoyed this one a lot more than the other.
